The Seagull - The Story That Moved Me
An article by Shilpa C NangaliWhen I read Anton Chekhov’s - The Seagull, I was very eager to enact this classic drama that deals with rejected love, broken trust, romantic triangles, restlessness, frustration, betrayal, and struggle for fame. This drama depicts the conflict between hope that keeps man going in all kinds of difficulties and the same hope that at times is futile and prevents a per

      Sam the seagull stealing Doritos
A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing crisps from a neighbourhood shop. The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn't looking, and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos.Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and shared by other birds. The seagull's shoplifting started early this month when he first swooped into the store in Aberdeen , Scotland , and helped himself to a bag of crisps. Since then, he's become a regular. He always takes the same type of crisps .Customers have begun paying for the seagull's stolen bags of chips because they think it's so funny .  Click here for more Funny and Quirky News and Jokes from Malaysia

      My Gallery - Seagull
When I went to San Francisco, there were a lot of seagulls a pier close to Fort Mason ( I can not really remember what the name is : ). They were not afraid of people who were walking pass them. I tried to move closely as much as possible so that I could take some close up photos of them. This is the best shot of mine. Any comments are welcome : )Canon EOS 400 D with Sigma 70-300 DG APO Macro at 300 mm zoom

      Play AnalysisThe Seagull
Anton Chekhov's The Seagull is a modern masterpiece. Short of seeing a great production, the best way to experience this beautiful play is to simply read it, as I did: For Chekhov, traditionally a short story writer, The Seagull was his first full length dramatic work. Chekhov struggled with the dramatic form, and this beautifully naturalistic play does suffer from what one might expect from a writer traditionally well practiced in a short story narrative form: surprisingly large parts of the play are episodic and descriptive of the action and events. What makes this a play are the main actions involving Nina, Konstantin, Trigorin, and Irina, with the two main characters being Nina and Konstantin - and who's story is it? Almost all the way through the play, through the 3rd act, it's a tossup, but given Chekhov's choice to narrate the critical turning point in Nina's and Trigorin's relationship, this is Konstantin's story, and he changes the most - literally going from life to dea

      Seagull and Mike
One hot summer day, Mike was walking along the beach. Along comes Seagull, and he picks up Mike. Mike yells, "Put me down!" So Seagull puts him down with a look of sadness on her face. She starts to walk away when Mike says, "No! I want you to take me back up!" Seagull's frown turns upside down! She takes Mike for a long flight. Finally, Seagull has to go, and so does Mike, so they go
