It's a shame that these Dali-inspired adverts, made by the Chilean advertising agency BBDO Chile, probably won't be put into circulation outside of South America. But that's also a good thing. We can't help but feel that while these images (second one after the break) look absolutely stunning, there's also something innately unsettling about them. I found this superb, life-size replica of the iconic monster from the Alien movie franchise for sale on the Monster Galaxy site.
The replica towers over us puny humans at 7 feet and 7 inches. The body and tail are made of resin and hard polyurethane foam. The whole thing is mounted on a wooden base.
I would love to have one in my drawing room (making sure to lock my bedroom door at night), but it’s just too pricey for people like us. At $5,200 plus shipping, only the rich and devoted sci-fi fanboys can afford it.

I just watched the version of Scary Movie 4 with a bunch of deleted scenes added in. It was great. There was so much I didn't see the first time around!I really enjoy how Scary Movies can keep coming out, and they all live up to the standards of a decent film. Not like a B-movie. All the spoofs are done so well, it's unclear whether they will ever stop making them.I wasn't sure if Scary Movie 5 was due out anytime soon, but sure enough, it's set for release around 2008. Looking at this movie makes me think back to a time when I was frightened, which is a time in which most people show who they truly are. It was a situation that involved my mom, a friend and myself. As mentioned in Another corner to release ‘DESSERTS’ , I was injured my knee and toes. Then, a friend of mine told me that he couldn’t see any wounds on my knee/feet as I always look good. Funny, right? The wounds are on my knee & toe, not my face! Does this means that whenever you were injured, you have to show all your pain in your face and telling the world that: hei, I was injured! Please pity me!
So sorry, I must tell this friend that I am not that ‘little women’ even if I have that look..haha~~ In fact, I feel embarrass to let the world to know that I injured. In my mind, I have the perception that only small kid will felt down and get injured. As adult, you should have always take good care of yourself, no matter where and when. Okay folks. I’ll admit it. I kinda like scary movies. Not gory or overly “ghostish”, but mildly spooky flicks.
Stephen King? Yeah, I do enjoy his stuff. I don’t think I’ve ever read a single one of his books, but I’ve seen a lot of his movies. I can’t remember the last one I saw… but the one I remember most from recent times is IT.
Mostly, I don’t think his movies are THAT scary. But they’re mysterious and they do tend to make the back of the neck bristle. I can handle that kinda thing.
So to my subject…The Mist by Stephen King. The movie is coming out on the 23rd. I’m not big on going to opening day for anything but the JRR Tolkein movies or maybe the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. And then I went to matinees because they’re cheaper AND less crowded. *heh*

Yesterday we got a strange delivery to our home: A pizza we haven’t ordered along with a 1GB USB stick that read 03/11 in black marker.
