An all new “sandbox” GTA style free-roaming game has been revealed by the UK Official Xbox Magazine. The game is called Prototype, and it’s coming from Radical Entertainment, the developers of Scarface: The World Is Yours, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, The Simpsons Hit & Run and the upcoming Crash of the Titans. Prototype is set for release in winter 2008. The game puts you in the role of Alex Mercer, a genetically engineered dude (in a hood no less) with various powers, which include running up the walls of skyscrapers and slicing bad dudes in half. Naturally for anyone with “running up walls” powers, the game sets you in a bustling New York City. The environments literally have dozens of NPCs on-screen walking around at once, in a “living breathing environment” according to the developers. That name sounds cool doesn’t it? I think it goes really well with his Union of Bambinos henchman persona. Like the name of some hardened criminal. Momo’s cheeks are actually ok. His rashes have all but gone. But when he’s sleepy he keeps scratching his head, grabbing his hair and scratching his cheeks (to the point of bleeding) and this has kept his recovery moving slower than we would have liked. Mittens are 1) too small for his ever growing chubby hands and 2) pointless against his razor-sharp nails. We can’t possibly trim his nails every day, so the best we can do is hope that he’s as comfortable as possible when he’s sleeping and prevent his hands from grabbing his face when he gets irritated or sleepy.
