cheese is one of my favourite food, so here we dive into cheese a bit more. Cheese is nutritious food made mostly from the milk of cows but also other mammals, including sheep, goats, buffalo, reindeer, camels and yaks. Around 4000 years ago people have started to breed animals and process their milk. That's when the cheese was born. Cheese has served as a hedge against famine and is a good travel food. It is valuable for its portability, long life, and high content of fat, protein, calcium, and phosphorus. Cheese is a more compact form of nutrition and has a longer shelf life than the milk from which it is made. Cheesemakers can place themselves near the center of a dairy region and benefit from fresher milk, lower milk prices, and lower shipping costs. The substantial storage life of cheese lets a cheesemaker sell when prices are high or when money is needed There are hundreds of types of cheese produced all over the world. Different styles and flavors of cheese are the result of

      Billy Tartle in Say Cheese!
Billy Tartle in Say Cheese! Michael Townsend’s debut book takes the ritual known to all kids who take classroom pictures. Every kid of a certain unique nature would love to leave an imprint on their pictures. How can Billy Tartle make his class picture super-cool? How about a cool haircut—a Mohawk with big spikes! And it must be bright-bright yellow, no pink, no green—well some kinda cool color! Billy’s mom just wants him to get a regular old haircut, look handsome, and smile nice—sooo bo-ring! Will Billy be able to outwit her and kindly Barber Ken?sandbox world, tony medeiros

      Smile, But Don’t Say Cheese
You know how the one time you wish you had a camera with you is always the one time you don’t? Well yesterday night was exactly such an occasion when, at short notice, I found myself at the Old Truman Brewery, in Brick Lane, London…or as my family call it…’the old country’, for a [...]

      Say Cheese!
It only took me three weeks, but I finally realized that April is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Month. I guess that's the reason why I've been seeing a number of stories about these sandwiches in the New York Times, Slashfood, and other various sites on the web over the past few weeks. In honor of this month, I decided to make myself a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner. My bread of choice tonight was Wonder Bread, my favorite bread with which to make grilled cheese. I normally use some sort of cheddar cheese or Kraft singles (yeah, yeah, I know it's American 'cheese'); tonight, I went with two slices of sharp Tillamook cheddar that I had on hand. As an added twist, I cut up a Campari tomato and inserted the thin slices between the layers of cheese. I set the sandwich down on a non-stick pan coated with sweet butter on low heat. Fifteen minutes later, my patience was rewarded:

Stacy from Rambling Traveler points us to a gorgeous selection of hyper-colored travel photos using a technique called HDR or High Dynamic Range. The pictures speak for themselves, so I won’t pretend my words can do them any further justice. But for more info on this technique, head on over here or here for a primer in HDR.

Say Cheese! It's Time To Take Pictures
Whether you plan to move or not in 2007, this is a great time of the year to aid the future sale of your house… because landscaping sells.Spring is here and flowers have already started to bloom. Soon tulips will be sprouting and gardens will really start to shine. And while they’ll look great soon, they’ll disappear next fall and winter.Take some pictures of your front and back yards. Capture the beauty of your landscaping when it’s at its best. Save these pictures. Because one day, perhaps in the dead of winter when it’s raining and dark in Portland, your home will be for sale. Having pictures of your garden or yard out on display will help homebuyers see and feel what your home truly has to offer year round. If you can help them visualize what it’s like when your home is blooming, you might just help them write that offer.

I think this is the most attractive picture of Foxy Brown that I've ever seen. CLEARLY, she was ready for the picture. This is the new look that's in for Spring. It's called the DONKEY from Shrek look.
