You can see how tiny he is as he is sitting inside a Christmas tree bauble.Since taking the photo I have a new PC and the original is on my laptop packed away so I had to use a copy that I had posted on another website hence the web address nicely pated in the corner.

While you’re here, could you please take a moment in your bloghopping to stop by Write From Karen to vote for my photo in the Humor Photo Contest? It will one take a minute. This week's theme is Colorful. Back before I practically shaved my head, I used to keep it braided. It was much easier. When my hair was shoulder length it took me an hour to blow dry, and even then it wasn't all the way dry. So I just kept it braided. And I'd change the color every couple of weeks. I've had it red, blue, green, purple...I think I even have some yellow hair, but I don't

It's supposedly going to be sold ... You know men and their love affairs with motor vehicles though. It's colourful in more ways than one and has always turned heads where ever we go.A couple of notes following the commentsDylan is the name of the van and the bunny. The bunny is Dylan from the Magic Roundabout (see Wiki entry)The photo was photoshopped by my boyfriend and he added Dylan

As you can see there are.The Dolls were bought for me for either Christmas or my Birthday one year, I can't say which celebration it was as there's only three days between both for me and you can imagine they merge into one most years. You know now I look at the quick makeshift backdrop I gave them it may not have been the best choice ... Theme - ChildhoodBecome a Photo HunterClick image to enlargeThis week is about childhood, well I thought of pictures of toys such as my rocking horse (a collectable antique) or other toys from my childhood, maybe even some photos of me as a little blue eyed angel, only a couple of weeks ago when we were booking a caravan we were looking on Live maps at the site and I then looked up my childhood address. The photo is now in my private collection although it is a screen shot, it is of my childhood home in Lowestoft, the fifth house from the bottom.I've just been asked and never thought to say this, the neighbourhood hasn't changed much at all, I see a few swimming pools where there weren't any as I was growing up. The main thing that has changed is that we (all the kids I grew up with) have all moved away, my childhood home was still owned by my parents until about two years ago when they went their separate ways and I can see from this photo my pond has gone from the back garden and t

Today's theme is Rare. Shockingly, neither TNChick or Sue have their pics up yet, LOL. **Update** I just found out that TNChick is having some health issues. Stop by and wish her well! YAY! I beat them both. :-) Insomnia is good for something, LOL. We rarely get snow in my little corner of the world. If it does snow, it's at 2 AM. It's not enough to accumulate. And it melts before

      Saturday Photo Hunt ~ Steps
If you live in Hawaii, you can’t hear the word “steps” and not think of Diamond Head. I think almost every local resident and even many visitors have climbed the 100+ stairs to the top of the crater. The paths for the hike are well defined. There are steps and dark tunnels that go through old war bunkers. Depending on your pace, the trek will take one hour uphill and 45 minutes back down. However, the views are definitely worth it. Diamond Head got it’s name in the early 1800’s when soldiers found calcite crystals on the slopes of the crater and mistook them for diamonds. It is an extinct volcanic crater which currently houses the FAA, Civil Defense, and Air National Guard. Kailani technorati tags: saturday+photo+hunt, diamond+head, hawaii

      Saturday Photo Hunt ~ Hobby
My hobby is sewing. I make baby items like the diaper shirt above as well as boppy covers, bibs, burp cloths, blankets and matching pillows. I used to sell them at craft fairs but had to stop when Baby Bug was born. Now I just make them for family and friends. Since Baby Bug is getting older, I’m seriously thinking of starting up again. Maybe I’ll even try to put together a website to sell them online. Any suggestions on a business name? technorati tags: saturday+photo+hunt, hobby, sewing, diaper+shirt,

      Saturday Photo Hunt ~ Water
This photo was taken over on the Windward Side of the island of Oahu. In the middle of that blue pacific ocean is Manana Island (locals call it Rabbit Island). The shape of the island actually resembles a rabbit but it originally got it’s name because a long time ago, a rancher released a bunch of rabbits there and they started to multiply. Today the island serves as a seabird sanctuary. technorati tags: saturday+photo+hunt, rabbit+island, oahu, hawaii

It's also in Lowestoft, the town where I grew up, strangely I didn't know the big circular thing was there until 1999 when the town was getting ready for the party (that may have been when it got a revamp), I didn't even know it was the most Easterly Point in the UK with good reason ... It's the most run-down area of the town and the town is pretty run-down.Now a C&P from Wiki, I may not like the place nowadays but it's still where I'm from ...Literary and artistic connections Lowestoft has a number of literary and artistic connections. In the 1840s, Charles Dickens came to stay with Sir Samuel Morton Peto. Lowestoft's Beach Village, along with Blundeston village, became the inspiration for David Copperfield. The nineteenth century writer and traveller George Borrow lived in Oulton Broad for many years. Joseph Conrad came from his native Po
