      Zen Sarcasm
I try to be very calm and peaceful in my life. It’s something I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older and wiser. However, I try not to take anything TOO seriously, so there is always room for humor! Here’s some Zen sarcasm for those Zen Masters having a particularly difficult day. 1. Do not walk behind me, [...]

      Oh Jolly Day...(sarcasm)
Just saying hello people. I talk a little about The Prestige in the DVD section. Amazing film. I have not been doing much as of late, no new games or new music. I am selling some stuff on eBay to get a little cash. Got to love eBay. I watched season one of Burn Notice on hulu.com and the new season starts next month on USA. Its kind of like Alias but with some humor, (plus Bruce "don't call me Ash

      In favor of sarcasm
According to this, those of us who have a streak of sarcasm are more highly evolved. Neurophysiologist Katherine Rankin at the University of California, San Francisco, has also recently discovered that sarcasm, which is both positively funny and negatively nasty, plays an important part in human social interaction. According to Dr. Rankin, if you didn't get the sarcastic tone of the previous sent

The science of sarcasm (not that you care)
There was nothing very interesting in Katherine Rankin’s study of sarcasm — at least, nothing worth your important time. All she did was use an M.R.I. to find the place in the brain where the ability to detect sarcasm resides. But then, you probably already knew it was in the right parahippocampal gyrus. What you may [...]

      Sarcasm, My Middle Name?
fret not, but sarcasm isn't my middle name. i've met people who are million times more sarcastic than i am! how sarcasm are they?like the creator of sarcasmsociety.com, he mentioned that:"There is nothing more beautiful than sarcasm. That is definitely an overstatement but it should balance the moronic comment which says that sarcasm is the lowest form of humor. Now, whoever made that statement was desperately in need of a rectal broomstick extraction procedure.Sarcasm usually requires a quick wit, and the ability to extract the minutest points of weakness in a conversation. So it is quite unlikely that it is the lowest form of humor as some would like to call it. Perhaps not being able to enjoy sarcasm is directly related to not having the ability to come up with sarcastic comments, whic

      Daily Dose of Sarcasm
Just in between periods of some UND Fighting Sioux vs. SCSU Huskies hockey and I don't feel like blogging seriously right now so I'm going to give you your daily dose of sarcasm.-The Suns are much better now that they have Shaq.-The Rockets haven't won in a long time.-Neither has UND Hockey.-I don't think the Browns are committed to winning now.-My childhood hero will never retire.-Don't bother watching the Duke vs. UNC game.-The Twins don't need to worry about Liriano coming back to form because they're loaded with quality veteran pitching.-I'm not really excited for March Madness.-Prince Fielder should shut his mouth because he's hardly worth $670,000.Ok, the game is back on I have to go.Leave comments but keep them strictly sarcastic.

Sarcasm, Harry Potter and Satanism, Oh My!
Bear with me while I conduct a little experiment.I've noticed that the traffic on this site has taken a significant drop over the past week or so. Analyzing my stats, I see that I'm not getting nearly as many hits from Google image search any more. This isn't necessarily a bad thing; what I'm interested in is readers, not people looking for Britney Spears pics (and yes, in answer to yesterday's questions, I did actually post one picture of Britney before yesterday -- in my Britney/Paris Hilton caption contest).Anyway, this discovery prompted me to do some experimenting with Google image search, and sure enough, I'm no longer the world's leading authority on sarcasm. If you look hard enough, you can find my sarcasm motivational poster, but on someone else's site. What's up with that?Sam

      World's Foremost Authority on Sarcasm
Lately I've hinted -- not very subtly -- that I'm now working for Google. I'm technically not a Google employee, but I'm working onsite at the Google headquarters on some internal projects for them. I didn't want to say too much at first because I wasn't sure how much I could tell you without getting in trouble. In fact, now that I think about it, I'm tempting fate with this post, as I was once fired from a job over an email that I sent the day before the Thanksgiving weekend. I won't go into detail on that now, but let's just say that I came into work the next Monday and couldn't log in to my computer. Some people just don't appreciate the fact that I'm the World's Foremost Authority on Sarcasm.Presumably, though, Google knows this about me, as they are the ones who gave me the title. If you look up "sarcasm" on Google, you'll see my picture. Well, ok, not my picture, but a picture I made. Seriously. Go to Google Image Search and type in "sarcasm." The number on

      Bush’s words of wisdom on the American economy - {sarcasm}
President George W. Bush, with his very reassuring (or not) tone, today said he believe the recent turbulence on Wall Street will soon be over, and we will reach a “soft landing”. Maybe he was talking about war planes in Iraq, Katrina rescue planes, or social security? I don’t think he even knows himself. Sorry to be political on this one guys; I just couldn’t help it. After hearing of no assurance from Fed Chairman Bernanke about lowering interest rates anytime soon, I guess investors were looking for Bush’s help - the one he’s been providing during his term? President Bush said he expects investors to reassess their risk and begin to focus more on the economy’s fundamentals, which he said are solid and sound. Unsurprisingly, based on market stupidity, investors reacted to his comments; because stocks are climbing as I write this. If you’re one of the investors hitting buy orders now, I think it’s best you reassess the credibility

Uncyclopedia - The Wikipedia of Lies and Sarcasm
I’m a pretty big fan of Wikipedia, and I visit there at least once a week. Sure, the information isn’t always 100% accurate, but I think they do their best at keeping it a semi-reliable encyclopedia, and the tone is usually informational. If you want the complete opposite of Wikipedia and a good laugh, checkout Uncyclopedia. As they describe themselves, it’s “an encyclopedia full of misinformation and utter lies.” Sounds like a tabloid magazine, doesn’t it? It’s kinda like that, except better because it’s about topics that’ll probably interest you. With over 23,347 different articles written in English that are open for anybody to edit, and knowing that the intent of the site is to be incorrect and sarcastic, there’s a lot of funny material that will keep you glued to your computer. If you don’t know where to start, just go to Uncyclopedia and click “Random” in the left sidebar. You’re bound to find something that will give you a good laugh eventually. Belo

Content in Ignorance, A Rant in the Key of Sarcasm
This morning I met with my discipler Darrell to read over 1 Peter 1:13-25. I know I picked the right person to disciple me because he, along with my buddy Ken, keep bringing up aspects of the Christian faith that I have no idea about. Such as: The Westminster Confession of Faith, The Council of Dordt, and The Nicene Creed. They actually had the nerve to expect me to not only know about them, but to actually read them as well. This has opened up in my mind a whole world of new questions and ideas that I hoped to long put to bed. Oh no. I miss my days of ignorance. It made my faith so much easier. So as Darrell and I are talking over various things I wonder aloud why I am even bothering to study literature or introduce poetic language and literary licence to the Christian community. Is it so bad to have certain Christian novels (I'm sure you can think of a few) even if they aren't particularly good? What difference will it make in the long run whether a Christian David Sedari

I’t because he has such a great political record..[/sarcasm]
Blacks shifting to Obama, poll finds African American voters moving away from Sen. Clinton The opening stages of the campaign for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination have produced a noticeable shift in sentiment among African American voters, who little more than a month ago heavily supported Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton but now favor the candidacy of Sen. Barack Obama. Clinton, of New York, continues to lead Obama and other rivals in the Democratic contest, according to the latest Washington Post-ABC News poll. But her once-sizable margin over the freshman senator from Illinois was sliced in half during the past month largely because of Obama’s growing support among black voters. Source I said on another site that this was going to happen and was poo-pooed.. ‘blacks don’t vote according to the color of someone’s skin’ I was told, ‘they vote according to the politcs and record of the person’.. to which I call BS.. the majority of black
