There are Spoilers. You have been warned.I just watched Terminator, the Sarah Connor Chronicles and this episode blew me away. It did so because of all of the ties to T2. Here are the great moments.The episode begins with Cameron riding up on a police motorcycle in the oversized mirror glasses. She looked so much like Robert Patrick's T-1000 from T2. It was an excellent homage to that movie. Cameron shuts down a power grid so she can walk into the police station to retrieve the robotic hand that is in evidence. It is not there.When Cameron comes back without the hand she is given a mission to find Demitri, the man who stole the Turk. She is to get close to his sister who is a ballet instructor. Not one to argue with my subconscious, I can conclude from my feelings Monday evening that Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is a good sci-fi show. In fact, after four episodes, each one better than the previous one, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles has "all-time great" potential.

You know, back in my day when you had to actually work to find some anime and you’d like whatever you were lucky enough to pick up at some grubby, tiny comic con it was all bootlegs. Sometimes there’d be no subtitles at all and other times there’d be those crappy ones that some kid who knew a little japanese would do - that was the best. In college it changed and with the internet as the new distribution, everyone was into anime because it was so readily had and so well subbed. It seems that the anime industry has just now decided to hate those fansubbers for ruining their business. It is at the same time both completely fathomable and unfathomable that they would take that attitude - unsurprising because hey, it’s easy to blame others for your current problems (see also RIAA, MPAA). But surprising because it was those hardest core of fans making and distributing anime that created the industry here over the past few decades.

Back Story : At the end of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Sarah, John and the Terminator successfully destroy the T-1000 and the arm and computer chip from the first Terminator. Sarah and John then watch as the Terminator is lowered into a molten steel pit in an attempt to destroy all future technology that could be used to create Skynet. Sarah and John now find themselves alone in a very dangerous and complicated world. As fugitives from the law, they are confronted with the reality that still more enemies from the future, and the present, could attack at any moment. Lots more aafter the jump.

Se situa temporalmente antes de la 3 era parte (Rise of the Machines) y despues de la 2, todos los papeles serán interpretados por nuevos actores, tales como Lena Hedley, la reina en la película 300 y Thomas Dekker, el desaparecido amigo de Claire en Heroes y se estrenará en Enero del 2008, gracias a la cadena Fox que hasta el momento ha realizado 13 capítulos, ampliables si la serie tiene éxito.
El piloto ya circula por internet, seguramente como parte de la publicidad que estan haciendo, o para ver cual es la reaccion del público. Personalmente me parecio muy bien realizado, con buenos efecto y una historia que si bien tiene algunos huecos creo que promete y mucho.

I had absolutely no intentions of watching upcoming FOX original series The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as it struck me as a one-trick pony. But after catching a snippet of it on YouTube, you can color me optimistic (see the trailer and link for more clips after the jump)!
On the periphery, I knew that Summer Glau (Serenity) had been cast in the show, but silly me, I didn’t make the correlation. She’s gonna be a kick-ass terminator, so go with her if you want to live! Yeah, she’s gonna be a ‘good’ terminator, but still, she’s a mighty awesome on-screen, ass-kickin’ chick. So, suddenly I’m in.

Und nun war es endlich soweit. Wir mit Sarah Connor bei Henry Maske. Leider hatte ich keine Chance mit Sarah ein Bild zu machen... Daher nur der leere Ring in der leeren Halle.Es war (abgesehen vom stundenlangen Warten) eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung. Am Ende haben wir sogar noch Sitzplatzkarten für den Kampf bekommen. Einfach nur toll!Naja... bis auf die Nummerngirls von der Firma Annvy bzw. Bonnie... Zum einen schienen die Mädels einen IQ ihres Hüftumpfangen zu haben ("Oh mein Gott.... schau mal, hier sind nur Assis") und zum anderen haben sie Mode für Pelzartikel gemacht (darunter auch 2 völlig bescheuerte Umhängetaschen) Naja... als eher Linker hätte ich am besten ne Spraydose genommen und grüne Farbe sprühen sollen....Aber der Tag war am Ende dann doch cool und wir hatten eine Menge Spaß!
