But not more than I do!!Blake Lewis (above, right) was on 95.1 in Jax complaining about the new season of American Idol, saying David Archuleta is "boring," (I agree, but his baby dimples are adorable!) and how Malakar (above, left) is basically a tool.on Sanjaya:Lewis: "He's a disrespectful little kid", “disrespectful of people’s boundaries” and since he “didn’t have a father figure in his life” he needed to teach Sangina a lesson. At times he would even lock Malakar out during the Idol Tour.I don't care who you are, that's funny...and so are the two sexy as hell pictures I've included above, strictly for your enjoyment.
Thanks to the good folks at fuelmyblog, yet another idea that can be called nothing but genious will soon be upon us.
Yes indeed folks… I’ve pre-registered. Why don’t you?
I won’t sport a pony-hawk and I don’t particularly want a kiss from Simon, but call me an Idol and you’ll be tops on my list forever.

A name that has created traffic over the internet, Sanjaya malakar is a contestant of the recently concluded American Idol. He is a 17 year old singer, son of an Indian father and an Italian American mother who lives in Seattle. The kid took the internet by storm giving him the popularity to reach up to the top 7th in American Idol season 6. He is the most talked about contestant in this latest season for a lot of reasons.
Many thought that he wasn’t good enough to be in the competition but some fans loved him. There was even an American Idol fan who committed hunger strike just to vote him off. He created a difference in American Idol through his originality often criticized by American Idol judge Simon Cowell who is known for his infamous blunt remarks. Hundreds or maybe even thousands of blogs are on the internet to talk about almost everything in Sanjaya’s life, from his weird fashionable hair to her hot sister who was also a contestant of the American Idol. After
It’s an open knowledge that Sanjaya Malakar has created an impact in this year’s American Idol, much to the dismay of a whole segment of Idol watchers, and some of the Idol finalist included. Normally, and expectedly, none of this year’s idol finalist would include Sanjaya on their list of favorite singers, but Jordin Sparks is singing a whole new tune this time around…and it’s a good thing. The Associated Press reports:
Until now, when asked her favorite male singers, Jordin Sparks topped the list with John Mayer and Justin Timberlake. But, the effervescent new “American Idol” champ said Wednesday, she’s got another name to add: Sanjaya Malakar.
“He had so much guts,” the 17-year-old “American Idol” winner told The Associated Press. “He had so much strength. He got a lot of criticism, but for him to go out on that stage and hold his head high … I really look up to him for that. He’s just an amazing kid.”
Hahaha Jordin calling Sanjaya a kid. By the way,
The reason why Ozzy Osbourne refused to appear on American Idol's finale last week was because he changed his mind after hearing that he would perform with contestant Sanjaya Malakar. Pagesix has quoted Osbourne as saying that he "didn't want to be on stage with [him]", branding the singer a "hairstyle-challenged idiot". American Idol replaced Ozzy with Aerosmith's Steve Perry
Ozzy Osbourne was meant to appear on American Idol, but he backed out when he learned that he was gonna perform with Sanjaya Malakar (whom Ozzy called "a hairstyle-challenged idiot"!!)You gotta love good ol' Ozzy :D Buy the lovely "Wank For Peace" Ozzy wristband here:
Sanjaya Malakar Original Caricature
The caricature of Sanjaya Malakar is on a 9×11 inch piece of white drawing paper. It was hand sketched with such detail as Sanjaya’s amazing hair and his amazing smile. This is a great item for any Sanjaya fans or VFTW fans to own. You can place on your wall, but it will not sprout new hairstyles every day. Remember, this is the only copy of the caricature, so after this one is sold, there won’t be another opportunity to get it. It’s a great way to remember season 6 of American Idol and makes a great gift. It’s now on eBay. So far, caricature has the highest bid among the other IDOL caricatures. Its current bid is at US$ 330.00. (Wow Sanjaya does shave a lot of fans). To think, the paper where the caricature was drawn on is already wrinkled, still the bidders don’t care. Perhaps Sanjaya is the real American Idol this year.
Some say he’s “fallen” but the other perspective is that Sanjaya knows exactly what he’s doing.
Jimmy Kimmel pressed him to defend his statements (to People magazine) that he’s not gay. Some say he was “blindsided” by the “Raining Men” tranny performance but again… perhaps he knows exactly what he’s doing?
Asserting his non-gayness and thus retaining the hoardes of little girl fans to dream about him in that same way little girls of the seventies dreamed about Donny Osmond and the boys from the Bay City Rollers (they were little, what did they know), he also scores points with the “other side” too, by showing up for such events where he seems “blindsided”.
Remember that this is the kid who made his own decisions about his hair and clothing for the American Idol episodes he competed on. Remember that those decisions secured his place as one of the top searched for people on the internet and one of
It’s all over the internet. A video claimed to have been sent to TMZ.com has been causing people to do a double take. I say claimed, because the same video was claimed to have been “leaked” to defamer.com.
The video was added to Youtube on May 22, 2007 and as of 9:37 am (CST) on May 24, 2007, has 10,502 views and 50 comments. The video shows a male, strikingly similar in appearance to Sanjaya, claiming to be someone named Bill Vendall… an art student who claims he “created” Sanjaya as part of his thesis. “Vendall” claims “The character was part of a larger art installation.”
There are several problems with this claim.

One of Sanjaya Malakar’s top song choices was nixed by the show’s advertisers.
The “American Idol” reject told Seattle’s KISS 106.1 that during American Idol’s country week he wanted to sing the Janis Joplin song “Mercedes Benz,” but wasn’t allowed to because “we’re sponsored by Ford.”
When asked what it was that he missed most about his Federal Way, Wash., home, Malakar replied, “Being able to walk around the streets singing really, really loudly and not worrying about anyone one recognizing me or caring — or getting ripped on by Simon.”

The producers behind American Idol, possibly wondering how much longer it takes before Paula goes to rehab or Ryan Seacrest comes out of the closet, thus losing half of their red-state pro-church audience, have begun working on a new series called “The Search for the Next Great American Band.” (working title)The plan is to scour the country seeking musical groups of all ages, styles and genres. Hundred of bands are expected to audition for a shot at stardom. And while individuals can easily walk into a room and belt out a few notes acapella, I imagine that the process of having bands set up and sound check is going to be an excruciatingly painful process. And as for the bad-out-purpose fame grubbers: somebody get me a drum set stat. After the initial audition the, as of yet unnamed, judges will narrow down the numbers to 10 semi-finalists who will perform in front of a live studio audience. Viewers will then get a chance to vote for their favorite bands via telephone and text

Sanjaya Malakar’s mom was arrested for growing over 300 marijuana plants in her home. Now TMZ and The National Enquirer have this photo of Sannie’s mom, Jillian Blith, at a Hollywood party taking a hit from a bong.In the shot, obtained by the National Enquirer, the Momjaya appears to be holding what is euphemistically called a hookah pipe and a lighter. According to a source cited by the Enquirer, the 41-year-old Blyth could be in more trouble if this picture suggests that “she’s continuing to break the law,” especially because, says the paper, she was sentenced under 12 months of “community supervision” as part of her felony conviction on drug charges in 2005 that required her to be drug-free.On the other hand, says the Enquirer, her legal case was officially closed last year, and as a result, everything might be totally mellow for Blyth. It looks like the Momjaya is quickly working on joining the All-Star Weed team that includes Willie Nelson, Bob Marley, Ricky Williams
WIthout fail, every day people arrive here because they’re still searching “sanjaya’s sister”. There are no new photos out there of her, no big shocking news, no porn photos to find, no crotch shots of Shyamali.

Last week, Sanjaya's surprise appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno followed hot on the heels of Jon Stewart and Aasif Mandvi's brilliant Partial-Birth Abortion skit ("America Decides") on The Daily Show about his being voted off American Idol. One was relieved to see the kid still on television, shy and charming, and free of anger as ever. And he was wise, saying he felt that he hadn't lived up to the potential Simon had seen in him, and had no hard feelings, taking the wind right out of the sails of anyone looking to pick a fight with him. He said he's not a country singer and knew he had bombed when he saw his Tuesday performance played back. Then he made a point that should not be missed. Who will win, he said, is "totally unpredictable, based on each week's performance." That is to say, there is no way to predict who will win American Idol because you don't know ahead of time what genre is next on the calendar.Clearly, many people have picked up on the perpetually and
What is Sanjaya Malakar doing now that he's off American Idol? I don't know, (apart from talks of Sanjaya and Britney Spears to record a song together) but I do know that people are saying that Sanjaya is gay. He recently made a comment about how he "understands" women, so now the conclusion is that he is gay.
You just had to open your big lips Sangina… I mean Sanjaya. Guys aren't supposed to understand women! That's not possible unless you're a girl or unless you're gay!
I've always gotten along with girls better because I was raised by women. I got teased in school because people figured I must be gay because I understand women. I think that's why guys didn't like me - because I got along with girls so well. When I went up to girls they would give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek like I was their gay friend. But I was the straight guy that understood them. [Before Idol] I had a girlfriend but she
Sanjaya Malakar dined with George W. Bush this Saturday. Sanjaya was invited to this year's White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington, D.C. With his mother by his side, he was among the celebrities Jane Fonda, Teri Hatcher, John Cusack & Sheryl Crow.Since polarizing America with his hairstyles, wit, and singing persistence, Sanjaya is now in the most pivotal time of his career. Will he become the lastest reality-tv roadkill or will he have a substantive career? Positioning himself as a personality and not just a singer will give Sanjaya staying power in the world of the celebrity. Following in the footsteps of multi-tasking entertainment moguls such as Jennifer Lopez and the Olsen twins seem to be the only way to stay at the top in the business nowadays. In the next few months Sanjaya will be touring with Top 12 Idol finalists and will also be present at the American Idol finale. After enduring week after week of Simon Cowell's jabs, worldwide hair phenomenon Sanjaya Malakar was finally voted off American Idol last Wednesday night. Rather than hide his feelings behind that winning smile, Malakar instead let fly during a tearful farewell to the remaining six. The next-day, the 17-year-old opened up to reporters about Simon, his hair, hiring a bodyguard and more. What do you think turned the tide for you on Tuesday night?Honestly, I'm not a country singer. I think that that really took a toll on me. And I didn't have enough really strong performances to let people forgive me for that. Like, for example, Lakisha, she's not necessarily a country singer either, but she had enough strong performances to get her though – and I don't think I did. What have you learned most as a result of being thrust into fame like this?I think I've learned not to let any negativity get you – just to keeping on trucking, I guess. For those who’ve been fretting about the fate of poor Sanjaya… fret no longer. Earlier, on Regis and Kelly, he’d told them that he couldn’t believe it when the Governor of New York (Eliot Spitzer) told him he was a fan. According to this article over at The Celebrity Cafe, what Sanjaya didn’t tell Regis or Kelly, was that Spitzer was initially shooed away from Malakar at the dinner and was only able to get an autograph after playing the “But I’m the Governor of New York!” card.
It seems that People Magazine, which puts together celebrities and politicians for the dinner, was behind the invitation Sanjaya received for the dinner.
In addition, Sanjaya will be reading the Top Ten with David Letterman this evening.
Not too shabby for a 17 year old with questionable talent. Since his demise from the American Idol competition, Malakar has been busier than ever, and has made it clear that he intends to be around for a long time. Noted in this Forbes.com

Britney Spears wants to record a duet with Sanjaya Malakar–the infamous American Idol contestant. It was reported by the National Ledger that, "Britney wants to cash in on some of the Sanjaya mania because he is getting so much attention right now she feels that if the two of them record a record together it will help get her back on the charts."
Looks like Britney is desperate to make a comeback. Bald Britney and Puffy-haired Sanjaya.. what an odd combo. Maybe Sanjaya can donate some of his hair to Britney–she really needs it. The National Ledger claims that Britney already asked her agents to get in touch with Sanjaya about the duet.
Although I personally wouldn't buy and Britney+Sanjaya collaboration CD, I think Sanjaya should take the offer since he has nothing to loose.

Finally Sanjaya is gone! Yahoo! and I don't mean the search engine. It was about time he got off the show. He clearly wasn't in the same caliber as the other singers. His sister has also been getting some attention for her sexy pictures floating around the Internet.

Your website, and e-newsletter, are examples of the kind of attention you can gain from having well-designed impressions. Your business card must earn respect by the conservative, traditional, and old fashioned - it’s expected from a lawyer; you know that.
Going against a strong expectation is a contradiction that may bring on the wrong sort of attention: I’m calling it “the Sanjaya effect.” However, on that note, with the right personality… you too can pull it off. How much do you want to leverage your personality?

The votes were in yestarday and America decided that Sanjaya Malakar's time was finally up. Yestarday Sanjaya sang his last song on American Idol. The Sanjaya haters can finally chill-out now–which is almost every American Idol fan! I know he isn't the best singer in the world, but I still think he was alright.
Regardless of what anyone thinks about Sanjaya, he did pretty good for a 17 year-old. Not only that, he was the highlight of the show since the slutty Antonella Barba pictures.
I'm sure this isn't the last time we're hearing from Sanjaya. This kid took a lot of abuse from everyone for his singing and his hair–even from the judges of American Idol. I loved Sanjaya's pony-tail mohawk by the way. Lets face it, Sanjaya was the most talked about in the show. I mean come on, even the people who don't watch American Idol know his name (and Antonella Barba ofcourse). Anyways, good luck with whatever you're pursuing Sanjaya.

The misery of Morrissey was apropos for the mood of the "American Idol" judges when Sanjaya Malakar wrapped up his miserable take on "Something To Talk About." The panel of three didn't bother with any niceties and seemed intent on derailing the Malakar express. We got a sense the show's powers-that-be were fed up with Sanjaya's meta-wink-wink performances and that the "joke" had ceased to be funny. The reality TV titan averted doomsday scenarios in which Sanjaya outlasted the presumptive final four of Melinda, LaKisha, Jordin, and Blake thanks to a seventh-place dismissal of the boy wonder. With searches on the show sliding, Sanjaya could have stuck around and drained the watercooler dry while the show's credibility crumbled. He's topped our Search charts since the final 12, and we'll readily admit that we'll miss his buzz-worthy performances. Just at the moment when most pundits were giving him a pass into the final 5, he was whacked by voter indifference. Did the novelty wear o
A Dark Day in the Sanjaya UniverseThe combined efforts of Howard Stern, votefortheworst.com and an army of Fanjayas may have delayed the inevitable, but Sanjaya Malakar finally got what was coming to him.The 17-year-old Seattle native was eliminated from American Idol Wednesday night, following a performance of Bonnie Raitt's "Something to Talk About" that Simon Cowell deemed "utterly horrendous.""I know this has been funny for a while, but based on the fact that we are supposed to be finding an American Idol, it was hideous," Cowell said Tuesday.Though Malakar's vocals were undoubtedly the weakest in the competition, the soft-spoken teen won fans over with his enormous grin and dedication to changing up his hairstyle each week. (Case in point: the ponyhawk that will go down in Idol history.)He also attracted a different set of supporters—those who were determined to see him win based on his unworthiness alone, thereby making a mockery out of all that American Idol is meant to repr

It’s been a while since i’ve blogged about American Idol. Finally I have a really good reason to, because Sanjaya Malakar is finally going home! In my opinion he had no real talent other then to get people’s attention with his wild hair ideas. Their was plenty of other people who should of stayed besides him. I honestly believe the only reason he was in Idol so long is because of all the teeny boppers going crazy with their cell phones sending in text messages to vote while raising up Mom and Dad’s phone bill. Simon Cowell said earlier in the season
“If Sanjaya Wins American Idol This Season, I Will Leave American Idol. Pick Me Or Sanjaya!”
Well looks like we will still have to deal with Simon, but ohh well, would rather have him then have Sanjaya win. When they announced he was going home tonight I screamed out “YES!!!” so loud that Brandon came out to see what happened, oops.
My concern now is Lakisha….What is she do

What a shocker! Sanjaya is sent home…Alleluia!!!!!!!
On a side note…my daughter is heartbroken so I need to contain my enthusiasm to my blog. Heh heh.
The bottom three tonight were Sanjaya, Lakisha, and Blake (totally surprised about that one). Kiki needs to kick it up a notch next week so she won’t fall into that bottom three again and as far as Blake is concerned, I think this was a wakeup call for all of his fans…Thank you America, for finally doing what is right.

Oh, what a ride! Who would have thought that a 17-year-old Hawaii native would have captured the attention of this great, A.D.D.-stricken nation of ours? Certainly not the kid himself or should I say man? Sanjaya Malakar left American Idol this week much the same way he arrived: with humility, respect, character, charm and class
I'm sure this made Simon's day. Sanjaya Malakar got voted off about ten ninutes ago. Then he sang Bonnie Rait's "Let's Give Them Something to Talk About" and in the chorus, which usually goes, "Let's give 'em somethin' to talk about, how about love?", he changed the words to "other than hair" of course in reference to all the hair comments that have been made about him on Idol this season.Sanjaya's been the butt of endless jokes since he got on Idol, and a constant barrage of critics expressing befuddlement at his longevity on the show. There's even an Eliminate Sanjaya webpage, and a woman started a hunger strike that was supposed to last until he got booted off.Dude can actually sing tho, he just couldn't seem to do that well with the songs on Idol. He would be a good fit for a network like Nickelodeon.Filed Under: sanjaya, american idol
In an article over at The Time of India site, it was reported that the crowd at a recent Dodgers-Padres baseball game in Los Angeles, booed Sanjaya simply for being there.
That’s just mean.
I won’t profess to being even the slightest bit impressed with his singing, or his shtick. Several more talented singers have gone home before him for reasons everyone has tried to figure out (and everyone has a theory on) but few can actually pinpoint, and while he did do better than others on latin week, he has not done well enough to warrant still being in the competition at this point. As I’ve mentioned in the past, much as I didn’t like Antonella Barba… I thought even she deserved to outlast him.
But seriously… read this quote and tell me if you don’t feel sorry for the lad.

I’m not kidding. You can see for yourself at the Maxim website. The designation is accompanied by several photos of Malakar showing his various Idol hairstyles. A portion of the write-up includes these words of wisdom,

What will Sanjaya choose to sing on American Idol’s country week? Martina McBride will serve as the mentor, offering advice on song choice, arrangement and performance. Might his choice be Shania Twain’s She’s Not Just A Pretty Face or will it be Faith Hill’s Take Me As I Am? Will he focus on winning Simon’s approval with a breathy rendition of Faith Hill & Tim McGraw’s Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me, or McGraw’s catchy Just To See You Smile… or will he take the macho man route with some Lonestar, perhaps Amazed?
Will the country theme finally be Sanjaya’s undoing, and so, would a choice of Lisa Brokop’s How Do I Let Go leave Sanjaya in for an emotional singing out just as it was for Gina, when she chose Smile? Playing it safe with Martina McBride’s version of I Never Promised You A Rose Garden would be just as fitting, but allow for Sanjay to leave on an upbeat tone, tongue planted firmly in the
It is pretty universally acknowledged it is not Sanjaya's singing that is keeping him in the running. There is the ballot stuffing efforts of Howard Stern and votefortheworst.com. In addition, I suspect speed dialing is going on in India.Of course, there are the fourteen year old girls.Though the Malakar clan seems a bit nerdy, they are half Italian and Indian. And everyone knows mixed race people are by far the most attractive. And whenever Italian is thrown into the mix....I guess Sanjaya is cute in a bubble gum kind of way. But, what was America thinking when they dumped Shyamali ?:She is even a girl who knows the meaning of real work:And rocks Antonella Barba sideways: Get my point? But perhaps she is Sanjaya's secret weapon.
The Associated Press reports that during a radio call-in on WOKQ-FM, Hillary Clinton was asked what the United States can do about much maligned 'American Idol' finalist Sanjaya Malakar. "That's the best question I've been asked in a long time," Clin
You're selected to be on the most popular television show in America by three of the most recognized judges of musical talent in the world. As you progress through the show, the same judges that selected you as one of the best twenty-four out of hundreds of thousands of auditions suddenly turn on you. One of them even says that he will quit the show if you win, even though he was part of selecting you to be there in the first place. You start hearing rumors that the media is fixated on your hair. You also hear that websites and even Howard Stern are endorsing that people vote for you because they think you are the worst singer on the show. Knowing that part of the reason you might still be on the show is not for reason that you would want it to be, what would you do? Would you voluntarily quit the show? Would you walk away from your dream of getting a recording contract?People who are demanding that Sanjaya quit the show should try to put themselves in Sanjaya's shoes. As part of Amer
Who says our “Who Owns the Look?” posts have to apply to fashion? And who classified it to only celebrities?! We sure as hell didn’t, which is why I chose complete nobodies this time around. Mr. Sanjaya Malakar and Mr. Pedro Sanchez are the contendors for who’s rocking the best look! Sanjaya is photographed on Tuesday night’s performance episode of American Idol, and Pedro Sanchez (from Napoleon Dynamite) is photographed being … well, Pedro! I must say, Sanjaya is keeping it consistent every week re-inventing his style and what-not. I mean c’mon, give him some credit .. the guy even grew a ’stache and goatee!! I can’t wait to see what he’ll rock next week…… Oh, and for those that don’t watch that AI garbage, his wack ass still hasn’t gotten voted off yet, so maybe we have next week to look forward to. By the way, my vote for this goes to Pedro! You can’t jack someone’s swagga Sanja
You are totally ruining “American Idol.” You and the King of All Culture Hackers, Howard Stern, that dude at VoteForTheWorst.com and maybe some other people … but mostly You.
You seem to have no respect for a fair contest and the feelings of others. You keep voting for that Sanjaya kid on “American Idol,” and it’s making a lot of people very cranky. Okay, in context with the rest of the planet (and in relation to things that actually matter), maybe not a lot of people. But certainly a handful of talking heads on daytime TV. Not to mention that MySpace guy who went on a (failed) hunger strike because of Your bad influence.
Perhaps You’re taken aback by all the hubbub Your little prank is producing. Hey, me too. I mean, what’s with all the shock and awe, right? Didn’t TIME magazine name You 2006 Person of the Year” for seizing the reins of the global media, for founding and framing the new digital democracy, for working for nothing and beating the pros at their own ga
So who's going home today on American Idol? Wait.. let me rephrase that question, who's NOT going home today? Sanjaya? Obviously there aren't enough Sanjaya haters, which is why he's still on the show.
Simon Cowel has been recently complementing Sanjaya Malakar's performaces. Last night Simon actually said that Sanjaya was "not horrible". Simon's probably just gave up on the show. Last night he told Haley Scarnato that clearly the show is no longer about how you sing it's about how you look–He was talking about her short shorts she was wearing. You gotta love this guy, he tells it like it is.
There have been theories about why Sanjaya is still on the show.. the dumbest one I've heard was that people from India were all voting for him. There is a thing called a time zone difference you dumb-asses. I think Howard Stern's "Vote for the worst" campaign has a lot to do with why Sanjaya is still in the show. Not everyone
Simply put Sanjaya Malakar is to American Idol what Shilpa Shetty was to Big Brother. A lucky 17 year old who found instant stardom after participating in the American Idol season 6. More known for his on & off stage charm and much less for his singing talent.
So what’s the fuss about now, one may [...]
Tuesday and Wednesday nights are AI nights in our house. That's AI for American Idol, not Artificial Intelligence, though I'm sure there have been plenty of AI contestants with AI.We like Blake and Melinda best. The biggest issue each week, though, is what good singer will get voted off before Sanjaya, who should have gone home before the top twelve hit.Sanjaya seems nice, but we've been baffled at how he's managed to stay when there were far better singers with better performances surrounding him. I have to say, though, tonight's performance in the latin theme was the best he's done so far. If I turned away from the TV so his big eyes and wide bright smile didn't annoy me as he performed like a giddy star-struck amateur, he sounded somewhat good.I've figured all along that there must have been some vocal promise the judges saw to keep him around, and it had to be more than looks since they always hammer the point that American Idol is a singing competition. Tonight I heard som
Wow, those Malakars just can’t stay away from the AFW posts can they? This week’s featured Fool is none-other than Sanjaya’s twin looking 10 kinds of sexy in this naked pic of her holding a guitar. Yes guys, she is butt ass nekkid. Okay she’s not really his twin but you can’t deny the striking resemblance! The only difference is one has boobs, and one doesn’t! (Really BIG ones at that!) Oh, another difference is one got picked for American Idol, and the other didn’t! Lol did you know she used to work at HOOTERS? But neither one of them can stay away from the limelight I see. Could this be a factor as to why this guy STILL hasn’t been voted off of American Idol? OH yeah, if you didn’t know now, the Indians have ruled out the “Indian Call Center” factor .. THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO THE KID IS!! Take that central intelligence! And is it just me or does she look like a healthier version of Nicole Richie??? Shit
10 Reasons (Besides Howard Stern) Why Sanjaya’s Still On ‘Idol’
Reason Number 1:
Every Season Has One: From Ryan Starr and Nikki McKibbin during season one to Julia DeMato (season two), John Stevens (season three), Mikalah Gordon (season four) and Kevin “Chicken Little” Covais (season five), it seems like every year, one marginally talented singer manages to make it to the finals. Personality counts — but it only gets you so far, and if elimination history is any indication, it’ll probably only buy Sanjaya a few more weeks at best.
Personally, I believe this is the type of television that rots your mind. I would much rather be reading a good book or engaging in some other kind of brain stimulating activity. I did catch part of the “mohawk” episode, only because the TV was providing background noise while I was working on other things.

what the "sanjaya"is this?May as well replace the "F"word by the "S" for sanjaya since it is used to describe all things. Looking up what the most popular topics were and could not help but notice Sanjaya with almost 50,000 blogs.Hard to believe that a 17 year old can get so much attention. Not that he is going to win the American Idol title(even if he had the greatest voice) .AMERICANS ARE TOO RACIST FOR THAT. How many Chinese Idols are there on the top charts ? How many mexicans or American Indians are there on the charts? .NO INDIAN IS GOING TO WIN THIS COMPETITION. An Idol is white, average height, not fat and if he happens to be black it is because Blacks are known to have better beat and rythm. You will not see these Black girls on American Idol win either, THEY ARE FAT and yet if it is supposed to be a singing competition I would say place them all behind a screen and just listen to their voices and place your vote. So it is not about voice it is about market value, all prejudice
A popularity contest is not something won on merit alone, and a popularity contest is all American Idol is. This not about who is the best or most affluent singer--its about who we happen to like best at a specific moment in time. And you, my perpetual hair-alternating friend, are just that. Week in and week out you keep coming back to prove the dream-killers wrong, simply by being yourself.
As you all know yesterday was April Fools Day. So in honor of that fantabulous day we will be presenting to you an “April Fool” every week! And depending on how these “celebrity” folk act, you might even get two! But I might need your help every now and then. You guys have my e-mail right? Yeah, you do … anyhow, if you spot someone being an April Fool, holla at me and I’ll post it along with a credit to you .. sound good? Alright, let’s get on with our first April Fool, SANJAYA MALAKAR!
Who is Sanjaya Malakar? Well, in addition to being the hottest Indian singer in the world right now, oh wait … that’s who he is! Okay I lied .. he can’t sing, he can’t dance, and I don’t even know why the hell he’s still on American Idol! I mean check out the way he MURDERED a classic! Maybe it’s his crazy hair styles that keep little white girls on edge. Or maybe the Indian call centers are offering special incent
American Idol Sanjaya Malakar instantly became a fan favorite after Sanjaya’s Seattle American Idol audition with his sister Shyamali….And Shyamali is one hot babe. She gets naked behind a guitar and is a Hooters girl. Man…What else can we ask from her ? Get racy in a wet tshirt like Antonella Barba or half naked like Alaina Alexander

Seriously why is this guy still around? He does not have the talent of the other contestants, so I believe this is the reason - Sanjaya is only on still because of votefortheworst.com Howard Stern and his followers are supporting this site to keep the worst ai contestant on. They are telling everyone to specifically vote for Sanjaya. This whole site is garbage, they just want to ruin what american idol is all about.
I would love for Saturday Night Live to do another spoof of him this week - I’m thinking that they will and do their own take of Sanjaya’s hideous ‘hawk. Did you catch the spoof last Saturday?
You can watch the clip ***here***.

Is it just me or is there anyone else in this freaking world that is annoyed by all this noise about Sanjaya? Who the hell is he anyway? He is just a (gay?) guy (not the prettiest according to my taste) from American Idol! I'm so pissed off with all this situation... whatever site I visit he is in, and now this! Busted Tees has presented a new t-shirt called "Goodbye-a Sanjaya", which according to Busted Tees Simon called it "Absolutely dreadful. Just... terrible. Honestly. I'm being honest. That was awful". Like I care about Simon...@&%#$!@!What infuriates me is that now I'm just another damn Sanjaya site...I'm afraid I'm loosing it...I should better get some rest...
I was so grouchy yesterday, it annoyed me when I almost swerved off the road . . . signs that I’ve been working too hard. Today was better, I was ahead of my game most the day and hen I got home it was just like “ahhhhhh . . . let’s go out and eat!”
We went to Baja Fresh and I had a burrito “enchilada” style (God I love those). My baby girl impressed me in that she enjoys dipping her chips in salsa now and she’s only just over 2. She has an iron will and definitely will run a company if not the world one day. My wife, now 8 months pregnant, was feeling better so she went to her college class. Thus, I am left at home with my son and daughter.
I couldn’t believe what I read yesterday about Iran seizing that British ship. What the hell right do they think they have to do that? If anybody reads this from Iran, please explain it to me okay? We are in a war with Iraq over there and the British are aiding us. It has nothing
Here is a video of Sanjaya Malakar performing on “American Idol” sporting a Mohawk! The worst part, in my opinion, was that he kept shaking his head around throughout the entire song. Here is the video:
Ok so little Sanji is safe another week. Lord have mercy. When will it end? Granted, I was not a Chris Sligh fan but he’s miles better than Sanjaya. Very happy Phil was safe. I know alot of people don’t like him for one reason or another but I just love him. Especially when he keeps that head covered up. I just love Phil’s voice.
I was checking out the website, Surburban Homeboy, the creator and star of The Sanjaya Anthem, and he’s made other parody videos that are equally hilarious which you can view on his MySpace profile.

Kevin Pereira co-host of G4’s Attack of the Show is channeling some hardcore Sanjaya on today’s episode. I love it! And of course who can forget Adam Samberg doing his best Sanjaya on SNL??
It’s official: America has Sanjaya fever! How can someone who sings so badly still be going strong in this highly competitive and infamous singing competition? CLEARLY, Because America loves what’s “on the inside” … or is it because this show has nothing to do with musical talent?
Up to this point I have hesitated to comment on Sanjaya. It's not just that the nuns taught me to keep my trap shut if I couldn't say something nice. There are a number of things which have kept me quiet. He is from my home state. He has a cute sister, that can sing a lot better than him. He makes thirteen year old girls cry. He gives Howard Stern something to chat about besides spanking and mammary glands. And I don't even care about the pohawk-- except it seems to have been so tightly bound, blood was prevented from entering the cranial cavity. But an issue has come up, which I have to mention.Anyone notice last night he was crooning bout his heart's desire having a whole bevy of attractive women to choose from ?I have no idea whether Sanjaya is pining for a hot lesbian or a straight guy.Now Ashley has a real reason to cry.
I am just totally and completely speechless. I have absolutely no words. I couldn’t even watch.
Phil? Was awesome. All the rest? Meh. Go Phil!
