Her first brush with alternate cinema was Kaalpurush with renowned Bengali film director Buddhadeb Dasgupta.
Sameera Reddy looked gorgeous at the media meet of the upcoming movie Red Alert with Suniel Shetty. The movie is based on true story. At the event bollywood's badman Gulshan Grover was also present. The event took place at ITC Grand Maratha hotel.

Sameera Reddy recently went on a shopping spree buying designer wear. But this shopping spree was for a "cause". Designers Gayatri Khanna, Narendra Kumar, Nikasha Tawade and many more joined hands and auctioned their clothes, the proceeds of which went in aid of breast cancer patients.The actress though reluctant to talk about her charitable deed, says, "I do not like to mention any social deeds that I do for a good cause. I feel good deeds are not done to gain any sort of publicity. Imagine the plight of these cancer patients who survive with the fear of death. The life of murdered journalist Shivani Bhatnagar would soon be made into a movie "Judgement" starring Sunny Deol and Sameera Reddy, director K.S. Adhiyaman told reporters here Monday.
"I decided to make the film after sustained study of the subject and meeting family members of Shivani besides understanding the role of politicians in the tale," Adhiyaman said.
