I want to setup samba to access the files located on my Linux from my desktop machines. I have one dual boot Windows/Linux machine (1 or two Windows apps that I still need) and another Linux desktop. I decided to standardise on Samba for file sharing. So let’s have a look what we need to do on the Linux server to be able to share the files: Install Samba: sudo apt-get install samba. Create a “samba” user for file sharing: sudo adduser samba (just through the of the options). Add the new user to Samba’s list of users: sudo smbpasswd -a samba. Rumours have been flying to and fro that this popular game will be heading to the Wii and now 1UP is reporting that Sega of America has confirmed to them that Samba de Amigo is coming to the Wii. It was my first night at Miami. I was tired, grouchy and hungry when I arrived at the Miami International Airport. My flight was delayed for a lovely 2 hours and by the time I got off the plane the sun was already down. Once we got to South Beach, we checked into the hotel, dropped off my luggage, and quickly began searching for the nearest hotspot to find some dinner. It’s this long road filled with restaurants, bars, lounges, retail stores and more. Most of the restaurants offer outdoor seating, and so the street is lit up very well.
