Sathya Sai Baba has never won any recognised international award. Yet it was made known that his ‘holy’ name was submitted by Vajpayee’s Indian Government for the Nobel Peace Prize (politically naive and doomed from the start!). Firstly, Sathya Sai Baba supports those who have been vastly increasing the militarism and the nuclear arsenal of [...]
Consider the unsupportable claims of Sathya Sai Baba that his “Divine Mission” - which cannot possibly fail - is to clean up India before doing the same for the rest of the world! He is acclaimed by so many Indian Prime Ministers, Presidents as a holy and divine personality, an infallible spiritual master and [...]

The text inset on the left is part of what Sathya Sai Baba said on Mahashivaratri 2000. It was not very long before he had a second hip fracture, in 2003. Though operated on by six doctors and a hip-joint was implanted - did not heal properly. This [...]
Sathya Sai Baba said: “I came across a tragic incident in a newspaper. It was about an uneducated and helpless mother and her three children. They were in such a pathetic state of poverty that the mother had to starve herself in order to feed her children. As their situation worsened, she took to the [...]
Sathya Sai Baba has supposedly ‘manifested himself’ in the ritual fire in a shed at the ‘holy sandal’ (Paduka) celebrations in 1998. This image and caption were published on a calendar sold in the ashram. It is true that the colours orange and black are visible in a form which, with a large portion of [...]
Much is made by Sathya Sai Baba and his followers of those of his supporters who are ‘scientists’ and ‘educationalists’, and not a few of them – especially the Indians who predominate among them. However, what can one say of the standard of an educational system which exists in TOTAL isolation from the world [...]
Sathya Sai Baba claims that ’the Lord’ (i.e. as he has often proclaimed himself to be - here to save humanity) tests mankind through sufferings and tribulations, which the Burma cyclone and the China earthquake most certainly are.
“Many natural calamities are entirely due to man’s behaviour. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, wars, floods and famines and other [...]
What is Sathya Sai Baba’s view on the huge current natural catastrophes in China and Burma, one may ask?
The answer is to be found in a large number of statements by him on the cause of earthquakes and calamities. Though his translator sometimes calls them ‘natural calamities’, Sai Baba is definitive that they are the [...]

Mr. and Mrs. Ratan Lal lived in the Prashanthi Nilayam ashram as very close servitors to Sathya Sai Baba for decades. There were very few persons who knew Sathya Sai Baba since he began his so-called ‘mission’ to save humanity who dared so much as to question anything he said. One of those was V. Much has been made of the failure of Sathya Sai Baba to appear on the moon, as it was announced that he would by his close servitor Anil Kumar from the veranda of the Prashanthi Nilayam temple on October 3rd 2007, as widely reported:-

Trying to be deep and appear to be wise, Sathya Sai Baba has pronounced:-“Whatever is not in man cannot be anywhere outside him. Whatever is visible outside him is but a rough reflection of what really is in him.”

Congratulations for having a full-blown blind believer’s perceptive imagination too! So this is how Sai baba looks - when he is far away on the moon, is it? Personality cultists all have their idols - one might expect Jimi Hendrix followers to see him in the above as Sai Baba.Or a thousand others who wear an Afro-frizz….Â
there is also S. Tookie Williams - the famous serial murderer - see here:-
Here is another bit of ‘imagination’ - the profile bust of a Victorian-looking lady - almost like Britannia - can be discerned on th image.
By the way, the moon has had those dark areas as long as it has been seen from earth. Nothing new at all. People have been seeing a ‘man in the moon’ in many different guises t
What About Meat? In spiritual endeavors there can be no stability and no concentration when meat is eaten. As the food, so is the mind. If one partakes of meat, one will have animal thoughts. For example, if the mutton of sheep is eaten, you must ask yourself, "What is the quality of the sheep?" They only follow, follow, follow. If you eat mutton, you lose discrimination. If you eat pork, you will develop the quality of the pig, i.e. arrogance. These things not only damage our thoughts, but they amount to violence. It is a sin to kill the animal. You may reply that an animal was killed by the butcher. That is incorrect; it is only because you are eating them that the animals are being killed. If you stop eating animals, then no one will butcher them to sell in the market. Thus, sin is committed by the one who eats as well as the one who kills. Because of this incorrect type of food, we
The same Shiva/Shakti Avatar is before us now – Shiva being Sri Sri Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Shakti being Bhagavati Srimad Sai. Now this Sai Rajarajeshwari, the Parvathi, is granting you the audience today which is to be recorded in Golden Letters as a Red-Letter Day in your life-times. Devi Parvathi is leaving Her Foot Prints on the pages of time.
Left: the Shakthi claimant- Right the supposed triple avatar of Sai Baba
The clash of great Avatars seems unavoidable. Sathya Sai Baba has firmly laid claim to being both Shiva and Shakthi in union in one body. (He has said that his former alleged incarnation as Shirdi Sai Baba was an incarnation of Shiva, that his next claimed incarnation as Prema Sai Baba will be an incarnation of Shakthi). Devotees know of the famous Shiva-Shakthi incident of 1963 where Sai Baba apparently cured the paralysis in the right hand side of his body with water sprinkled by his left hand (quite a clever show, one suspects). Should there be
Newindpress have reported on the 82nd birthday, which has been played down greatly this year. “The fete was a low-key affair unlike which was used to be organised in a grand manner every year.” So it was not up to the big tamasha smashes of yesteryear. A novelty is that “He came to Sai Kushwant Hall on an elephant, Saigeetha, amidst chanting of mantras by Satya Sai Educational Institutions’ students.” And they claim this is not a Hindu sect, but a universal ‘Sai religion’?
“He cut 82 cakes to mark his birthday and thousands of devotees across the world participated in the celebrations.” Having seen how incapable he was of cutting one cake even two years ago (see here) this sounds like a convenient ‘white porky’. Somehow it seems so childish, a self-proclaimed Incarnation of Vishnu cutting birthday cakes. Does he also blow out 82 candles, one wonders? It would seem not, as he was also unable to speak - something he us

Hi folks,
i inspite of being a devotee did not believe at first when i came to know that swami appeared in the moon. But my brother took photos of the moon on 27′th oct morning at 6:00am. The photo was taken in our apartment terrace using sony digi cam dsc h9 model with 30 x zoom . Will try to upload the photo soon at kanikalai.wordpress.com.

Sri Satya Sai Baba was born Satyanarayan Raju in 1926 in the village of Puttaparthi, Andra Pradesh, India. At the age of 14 he had a series of strange experiences, which his family and others believed at the time to be demonic possession. Soon after one of these, Satyanarayan asserted that the spirit of a guru known as Sai Baba of Shirdi, Maharashtra, who had died more than twenty years earlier, had come into him. Shirdi Sai Baba (1856 –1918) was admired in his lifetime for his austere lifestyle and particularly for the miracles that were attributed to him. During the later period of his life, he claimed to be God and was venerated as such by his followers. Satyanarayan, who appropriated the name Satya Sai Baba, likewise claims to be God. In support of his claim, Satyanarayan began early on to work the ‘miracles’ for which he has since become renowned and which have led to a growing number of followers. The ‘miracles’ include materializing sugar candy, flowers, vibhuti (sac

Recent events in Puttaparthi and the massive interest shown by visitors to this and other exposé web pages are yet another indicator of the failing impetus of Sathya Sai Baba. Over 10,000 hits on two blogs within just over one week underlines the impact that the reported ‘failed moon miracle performance’ has had. It is one of the biggest single PR blunders Sai Baba has committed so far (excluding the 1993 murders episode and his comments about it which fail to satisfy reason or public accountability).
The fall-off in interest in Sai Baba is seen not only among educated Westerners. They have left his following in very large numbers since the major exposure of him that began on the Internet in 2000. As well, the dive is seen also in India, which is confirmed, for example, by reports from former devotees that many foreign residents have virtually been driven out of his ashrams and lost their investment in an apartment there by discrimination and unfair treatment
Sathya Sai Baba has a lot to say about the moon, since it figures largely in Indian scripture and superstition in ways in which it naturally does in the culture and beliefs of all largely pre-industrial and simpler ’primitive’ societies. He identifies the moon as the ‘presiding deity of the mind’ (Sathya Sai Speaks Vol.14, p. 330 and Vol 12 p.13) , and insists that the mind is strongly influenced by its phases, that the “mind is a reflection of the moon”. (What this really means is, of course, anyone’s guess, but it probably sounds rather good to eager believers, who never are allowed to pin him or his statements’ meaning down any further). The full moon is supposed to be the best time for ‘destroying illusion’ (Sathya Sai Speaks Vol.1 p. 21f) and the mind is, according to him “powerless” at the new moon!
If you happen to have a moderate attention span (or want to wait until a full moon to try to take in Sai Baba words o

Viswa Virat Swaroop darshan - “Moon Darshan”
Sai Baba’s absurd and utterly failed attempt to engender interest and faith in the minds of his Indian followers by pretending he would be seen on the moon on the eve of October 4 th - apparently only from the Sathya Sai Airport is not the only lunar escapade he has contrived.
In one of the best-selling Indian books about him, Baba: Sathya Sai in two volumes by Ra. Ganapati of Madras, Sathya Sai Baba is reported as doing many literally incredible miracles like ‘bringing down the moon to earth’. These accounts defy all reason and common sense, and the claims obviously cannot be checked, any more than can the stories in ‘Sindbad the Sailor’ or ‘Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves’. However, one can give Ganapati and his informants near to 100% for imaginative fantasy. See here:-
Ganapati wrote that on 8/12/1973 on a stop with Sathya Sai between Prashanthi Nilayam and Brindavan devotees threw st
Sathya Sai Baba has been heralded as the Islamic messiah, the Mahdi and much has been written to try to prove he is the one… it is even publicised in a faked translation of Persian prophetic texts in Sai Baba’s self-glorifying Chaitanya Jyoti museum at Prashanthi Nilayam. It appears, however, that he is not accepted as the Mahdi by certain prominent religious-political Islamic figures….
President “Ahmadi-nezhad’s main event was at the U.N. General Assembly on September 26, 2007: As he did last year in the same venue, he opened by praying to Allah to “hasten the arrival of Imam al-Mahdi….”
“Missed by some observers in Ahmadinejad’s speech at the U.N. was his call to the “mighty Lord” to hasten the emergence of “the promised one,” the one who “will fill this world with justice and peace.”

Anyone who reads a fair selection of my webpages about Sathya Sai Baba may ask why I am so concentrated on exposing his faults, lies, deceptions, failed promises and prophesies, and on bringing forth the allegations against him for widespread sexual abuses, murder complicity and cover-up.
So why do I no longer – as once I did – praise him, promote his teachings or enthuse about any good works he has done? (More to the point, his followers’ works done in his name)
The simple answer is that I discovered what a huge abuse of faith he perpetrates on his followers. I was taken in until I learned despite all my hopes and wishes that he is involved in lies, crime and major deception. Therefore I cannot recommend his in ANY way, whatever else he may have done, good or indifferent. Moreover, I have a duty to make known what I have learned that only few others who dare speak out know to be true, to protect the vulnerable and provide the information for those who do not wish to f

Thousands disappointed as Sai Baba’s ‘moon miracle’ fails
Waning popularity! This was no doubt another in a long, long line of calculated ‘rumours’ for the grinding minds of devotees who can’t find out what’s going on and are dead keen to know anything… But why Sathya Sai Baba went to the airport is truly a mystery in itself, for he knew he could never appear on the moon. How can this be explained? There are many possible interpretations (for the blindfolded believer to choose between)…
1) He was on the moon allright but the clouds were necessary to hide his blinding brilliance.
2) But perhaps the crowds misunderstood him and expected a great mahima miracle… instead of the vague shape of the Sai afro frizz which can just about be visualised from the moon’s darker area. His afro-frizz can vaguely be seen if one is very willing i

SHRI SATHYA SAI BABA -a short historySathya Sai Baba was born in Puttaparthi, a small village in South India, on November 23, 1926. As a child, he demonstrated exemplary qualities of compassion, generosity, and wisdom, which clearly distinguished him from the other children of his village. On October 29, 1940, at the age of 14, he declared to his family and to the people of his village that he would henceforth by known as Sai Baba and that his mission was to bring about the spiritual regeneration of humanity by demonstrating and teaching the highest principles of truth, righteous conduct, peace, and divine love. His mission was further amplified in a letter he wrote to his brother in 1947. I have a task, he said, To foster all mankind and ensure for all of them lives full of bliss. I have a vow: To lead all who stray away from the straight path again into goodness and save them. I am attached to a work that I love: To remove the sufferings of the poor and grant them what they lack. Sai
Sathya Sai Baba has preached with extreme insistence and constant repetitively that all religions have the same essential, good values. This is very easy to say, but not possible to back up reasonably, let alone prove - especially to the heads of the main religions. The present Pope, for example, leader of over 600 million Catholics, rejects as heretical all religious doctrines which do not accept the primacy of Jesus Christ. Islam rejects Hinduism at a very most basic level - that God cannot incarnate in a human body (as Sathya Sai Baba constantly claims for himself) and cannot be represented in any idol (while Hinduism accepts thousands of deities and idols of all kinds). Judaism awaits a Messiah, but Sathya Sai Baba most evidently does not fulfil their conditions so Judaism does not proclaim him as their Messiah. Buddhism, in the main, rejects the whole idea of a God Creator of the Universe, as Sai Baba claims he is. What Sathya Sai Baba also asserts again and again is that all th

Sai Baba saved Lissen, who once lived only on light!
Under the title ‘Brown rice is the new light’ Michael Jeppersen of the Danish National Newspaper Ekstra Bladet [17. sep. 2007] describes his meeting with a Danish Sai Baba follower called Lissen Seligmann.
Apropos, the Danish Sathya Sai Organization, led by Thorbjørn Meyer of Handelshøyskole in Copenhagen, has been propagandising for visits to Sathya Sai Baba for many years. Here is a report on one result of such a visit:
-
Journalist Jeppersen joined a Biodynamic Consumer meeting in Copenhagen’s Fredriksberg, sat in a circle where participants presented themselves. One was an Indian man who does not eat, drink or sleep. Another was Judith who still does not eat, but unfortunately has fallen ill. Others have tried to live without food or drink, others would like

Sai Baba's Devotees Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi had a great impressionable personality which hypnotized those who came near him। With his miraculous power and simple teachings he had a host of ardent devotees who carried forward his teachings and philosophy to a wide gamut of society. Here we will discuss some of the most prominent devotees of Saibaba of Shirdi. Abdul बाबाAbdul Baba came to Shirdi in around 1890। He came here after a fakir who was inspired in his dream by Saibaba to bring Abdul Baba to Shirdi. On his coming to Shirdi, Saibaba greeted him by saying "My crow has come". A dedicated worker Abdul Baba took care of Baba's mosque and lit the lamps in Lendi. Baba took care of his welfare, and often had him reading aloud passages from the Koran. Bayajabai Kote Patil Bayajabai was Tatya's mother and the family had a close association with Baba, who he took as his sister। She had taken a vow that until Saibaba had her food she won't take food. Such was her devotion
Legacy of Sai Baba of ShirdiShri Saibaba is among the most influential spiritual gurus of India, who lived at a nondescript village of Shirdi in the state of Maharashtra। With his miraculous powers and captivating teachings he rules the heart of millions of his devotees, whose number is ever growing with each passing day.He is also among the most recognizable gurus whose image can be found throughout India, sometimes simply as a fashion statement or kept along as accessories। Worn as pendants and kept in lockets Saibaba makes his presence in all corners of India. He lived in the cusp of two centuries i.e., between 1838 and 1918. During this time Shri Saibaba made a great impact on the psyche of the people coming under his influence. With his simple and trite philosophy combined with his clairvoyant prowess, Saibaba's legacy is still on among his ever growing number of followers.Today, many religious teachers, groups and organizations promote his teachings and devotion to Sai। Sh
Sai Baba's Teachings Sai Baba of Shirdi is the epitome of reverence a guiding force who generates supreme faith and confidence among his devotees looking for salvation and in quest of coming out of the drudgery of living. As a divine mother he is saturated with love for those who seek him. With his mission of making people about the divine consciousness and transcending the limits of mortal body, his teachings are guiding his devotees to the path of salvation. People are blessed who follow his teachings. Among the teachings of Sai Baba of Shirdi there are the cardinal principles of Sai Path called 'Shraddha' and 'Saburi'. Sai Baba looks for these two qualities in his devotees. Here are the teachings and philosophies of Sai Baba of Shirdi. Shraddha 'Shraddha' is a Sanskrit word, which roughly means faith with love and reverence. Such faith or trust is generated out of conviction, which may not be the result of any rational belief or intellectual wisdom, but a spiritual inspiratio
Sai Baba's Mission The spiritual guru and redeemer of mankind, Sai Baba of Shirdi has been one of the greatest influencing gurus of the Modern times. As among the most popular Indian saints with an ever growing following of devotees, Sai Baba inspires an unflinching faith on his devotees with his clear cut mission to provide not only a spiritual awakening, but also saving the mankind from suffering and ignorance. Forsaking the worldly pleasure in his tender years Sai Baba came to Shirdi with a mission that sprang from the source of His free and redeemed spirit. His mission was self-allotted and that was to awaken the mankind to his true self and divine nature. He wanted to lead them to salvation by saving them from delusion and ignorance. Such is His benevolence that Sai Baba stands there eternally extending His helping hand to give solace to His children who are suffering and leading a wretched life devoid of any hope. With the whole world under benevolence Sai Baba inspires an undyi
Shri Sai Baba is revered as one of the greatest saints ever seen in India, endowed with unprecedented powers, and is worshipped as a God incarnate. (SAI meaning Sakshaat Ishwar) - GOD THE ABSOLUTEThis mysterious Fakir first made HIS appearance in Shirdi as a youth and remained there throughout His long life. HE transformed the lives of those who met Him and continuously is doing so even after His Samadhi in 1918 for those whose hearts are touched by His love and who pray and call Him at any emergency in life for HIS blessings. Baba stated that His mission is to “give blessings” without discrimination to all, and He proves it in myriad ways by healing the sick, saving lives, protecting the vulnerable, averting accidents, granting offspring, facilitating financial gain, bringing people into harmony within themselves and with each other and, above all, in effecting the spiritual evolution and transformation of those who came to him as the last resort. Aug 18, 1:01 PM Hi Robert Priddy, I am writing to you after reading some of the material about Satya Sai Baba by you. I have personally seen Baba already having things to materialize in his hand before he actually materialized the objects. Of course I have routinely seen Baba transferring something from left hand to right hand before he creates vibuthi. I have seen this one instance where he had a sugar candy in his left hand before he materialized and gave it to a boy who was caughing. But I do have to say that I have also seen him create things out of no where and by blowing at the objects they get vanished. I am at loss what to beleive and what not to beleive. Are this all the tricks Baba is performing on a doubting being like me? Some of my friends tell me all these are Baba’s leela’s and I should forget about them and one can never understand Baba’s ways. Regards S.

From page 114 of Hislop’s book (old. Ed.) and 125 (new ed.)In the early 1970s, Dr. John Hislop interviewed Sai Baba at length. These interviews were recorded and published in his book ‘Conversations with Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’ (Sai Publications Trust), which became the authoritative popular source book for many about Sai Baba and his various teachings. It is packed with ‘incredible’ stories and bizarre statements by Sai Baba.
According to Indian scriptural beliefs in reincarnation, ‘merging’ (with the Infinite) is a process which never leads to rebirth. Also, rebirth of former human beings as animals is either rejected as impossible or considered a punishment for horrendous deeds in life. Two so blessed as to be close friends of an avatar could not have such a fate. Hislop makes clear: “Those childhood companions, they must have been quite special. Was their further destiny unusual also?”, to which Sai Baba replies “they merged in me&rd
How many people on average will believe that the above image is a genuine one… how many may suspect it has been manipulated? In the Sai movement the majority almost certainly believe it genuine. It has been on sale since the 1980s and the photographer made a real killing! Life in Puttaparthi was and still is harsh and unforgiving to most of its inhabitants, so a little trick that brings in dollars is the obvious thing. But how could it be so successful? The following scan showing Sai Baba’s claims from Dr. J. Hislop’s book ‘Conversations with Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba can indicate why…
Sathya Sai Baba has often boasted about his all-seeing eyes [correction ‘eye’] (note that he has explained how he is blind in the other after a hair-dryer accident, of all things! Journey to the Centre of the Earth?

Mrs. Robert Bozzani (Rb) put the first questions, after Sai had made his ‘mystical statement’ out of the blue (i.e. “At the centre everything is liquid”). His explanation is the kind of absurdity that Sathya Sai Baba conveys to his students. One must ask how such untrue fantasy can be deemed worthy of any university anywhere. He assures Bozzani that the teaching of all courses at the University will be like that! He identifies chemistry with liquids and physics with solids… most amusing. His ignorant legend-stuffed villager mentality is to the fore here. But his students surely understand far more of the real “full picture” of science better than he does, even before they start their higher
