I guess this story still has some legs huh? Since posting these scantily clad pictures of the Sacramento Kings dancers, the story has been picked up by several blogs such as Sports By Brooks, With Leather and Barstool Sports. Today it was reported by News10.net that the dancers could facing disciplinary action for being nothing more than hot. After the photos began circulating online, Maloof Sports and Entertainment Business Communications Manager Jaime Morse Mills issued a brief statement, saying the pictures were published without the knowledge or permission of the dance team members or the organization. “(The pictures) do not adhere to the principles and values of the Sacramento Kings organization,” Mills stated.

Maroon 5 at Arco: Upbeat and loud for half-empty crowd
By Chris Macias
The finale of “The Sun” kicked in with strobe lights flashing, a mighty pounding from the drums and Adam Levine jumping up and down to the beat. Maroon 5 seemed bent on proving that this band could indeed rock, that they weren’t some punchline about music for soccer moms.
So Arco Arena was filled on Monday night with a heavier version of the Maroon 5 you hear on record. The band’s mix of pop, rock and blue-eyed soul was in check, but with an extra twist on the volume knob - and a lot of gratuitous guitar solos. Furiously fun sets from the Hives and Phantom Planet made the concert feel all the speedier.
But a hot ticket, this Maroon 5 show was not. The concert only drew some 7,000 to Arco Arena - about a half house - and most of the upper deck was curtained off. The tour itself has struggled at times, like that recent show in Denver that was downgraded to a smaller venue. No wonder Adam Levine

Sid Dunmore, of Dunmore Homes, a family run business with head quarters in Granite Bay who has built homes in the Sacramento area since 1954 is now the first casualty of this Real Estate market.
Last month Dunmore Homes closed their sales office at the Monterey Village Development in Elk Grove where mechanic liens totaling $5 million were filed on this project as well as Croftwood Estates in Rocklin.
Today, Sid Dunmore announced the sale of Dunmore Homes to Michael A. Kane. Sid Dunmore will remain as an advisor to the new owners.
This comes as a shock to many, I am sure. Dunmore Homes has been responsible for building many of the houses in Elk Grove and several other areas. A family owned business such as Dunmore Homes finds it harder to keep afloat during a slow market such as this as compared to the larger home builders especially with the slash in pricing and give always that most are doing.
We all wish Sid and his staff the best…

The much anticipated, official Grand Opening of Ella Dining Room and Bar took place last night. If you live in the Sacramento area I am sure you are familiar with, and maybe have been to, The Kitchen Restaurant or Selland's Market-Cafe, both run by the Selland family. This is their newest venture and the restaurant is named after Randell Selland's grand daughter Ella.Located at the corner of 12th St. and K St. in the Cathedral Building, a sleek, light wood entry meets you as you step in through the door. The large open restaurant with a big, square bar in the middle of the room, with plenty of seating, has hundreds of Hungarian window shutters decorating the ceiling and part of walls, giving the space a very rustic feel. The seating is a smart mix of smaller contemporary tables with upholstered chairs, and rustic large wood tables and wood chairs for eating community style. Behind the bar sits a large wine room enclosed only by dark glass walls. A lounge area with more bar stool seat
Friday night we went to a food, wine, and beer event in Sacramento, A Taste of Sacramento, a benefit for Easter Seals. It featured over 70 local wineries, breweries and restaurants who showcased their wine, beer and food to ticket holders. As you understand there was not enough time, nor room in my stomach to tasted everything at the event but I did want to share a few thoughts with you on some of the participants that I particularly enjoyed (or not).Let's start with the food. Best BBQ in town was served up by J.R.'s Texas Bar-B-Que who plated mesquite smoked brisket and baked beans. This is what BBQ should taste like. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse had sliced steak with mashed potatoes. Yummy. Rubio's flavorful, juicy and tender carnitas in flour tortilla with guacamole was surprisingly good considering it being a chain restaurant. Someone was serving a good mahi mahi taco roll as well, but I can't recall who it was... I also had shrimp with a great cocktail sauce that I think it might
Real Estate in the Sacramento and surrounding areas will see the eye of the storm of Foreclosures over the next 24 months.
I was privileged to be a part of a conference call with Brian Brady, America’s Mortgage Broker, where he outlined what to expect in the months ahead with Real Estate and the Mortgage Industry.

It was fun taking that photo of you carrying Cheryl across the threshold… have you recovered???
