Unlike most First Person Shooters and strategy games which are best played with mouse + keyboard combo, other genres of PC games such as Third Persons, RPGs, racers, sports, etc which require lots of actions, controls, button combinations and most of all, a full swing 360° movement, doing all these using a keyboard just plain sucks for many gamers, of course that includes me.Thus, we've got to ha

Now that the Dual Shock 3 is finally here, it looks like Sony's finding creative way to dump off old SIXAXIS stock -- like tossing 'em in MGS4 PS3 bundles. Japanese PS3 buyers will be able to choose from three "Welcome Box" MGS4 bundles in Satin Silver, Ceramic White, and Clear Black, and in addition to Snake's latest adventure and a Dual Shock 3, they'll find a SIXAXIS inside. The bundles will cost ¥49,800 ($470), compared to ¥51,800 ($492) for the gunmetal gray bundle that doesn't include the extra controller, so basically Sony's giving Japanese buyers $20 to take a SIXAXIS home. That's quite a deal, but honestly, we'd rather take drop the Jackson on that super-hot gunmetal unit home than have another (obsolete) controller lying around.[Via Joystiq]Read

This is the new DualShock 3 Sony PS3 controller that will replace the SIXAXIS that had tilt but no vibration, which upset many gamers. Sony said vibration was last-gen but gamers have got their way and its back with DualShock 3.
The video below shows you a detailed look at the differences between the DualShock 3 [...]
In a blatant attempt at damage control after their new Playstation 3 title Lair tanked in the reviews at most major online and print gaming publications, Sony shipped out a completely redesigned Sixaxis controller that they claim was originally to be packaged with the game. A letter accompanying the new controller explained that they had scrapped the design, opting for the traditional Sixaxis instead in an effort to keep costs down.
The new controller is raising eyebrows in the gaming world, however. One end of the controller is a large plug that is inserted directly into the anus with the assistance of Sony Brand lubricant, and controlled through the subtle constriction and release of the sphincter muscle according to the manual Sony sent with the controllers.
As reported Innerbits.com, Sony is well considering, to replace a conventional controller Sixaxis update to the feature vibration. "We can absolutely accurate to say that several developers have already received new models PS3 controllers. Information on the update geympadah stubbornly hidden Sony and its partners, but the official announcement was just held in the near future. It is possible that this could happen at the Games Convention to be held in Leipzig already this month. But perhaps Sony wants to wait for the time when it will receive the strongest support from the developers. " Moreover, according to the Innerbits.com updated Sixaxis will fully replace the original model, which has sold millions of PS3 worldwide, we strongly unclear how that would be implemented. In addition, Sony reportedly finalized a system to fix Sixaxis movements, which have become more intuitive and responsive.

Have you ever been sitting on the couch, playing Gears of War and thought to yourself “You know what would make this game even better? Tilt controls!” …yeah, neither have I. But, for the four of you who have always been envious of the Playstation 3’s SIXAXIS controls, there is now an answer for you.
The Tilt Board.
The Tilt Board is, essentially, the heart and soul of the Sony SIXAXIS controller, ripped from the bowels of the PS3 and given to us Xbox 360 owners in a nice, tidy package.
Now, if you think that you’ll be able to just take this out of the box and use it, well… you’re dumb as hell. The Tilt Board is for the more tech savvy 360 owners. For you see, you have to actually pop the controller open and rearrange some wiring. Suffice to say, if you screw up you’re SOL. But for those of you who DO know what the hell they’re doing, I can imagine that the Tilt Board is something that you would look in to integrating into your cu

This will be a turn-around for the record books. But it's all fixed I tell you! All of it! But really... How can this be?Sony's SIXAXIS controller, which caused quite a stir in the gaming world, not because of it's "sheer ingenious", but because it actually sucked, has gone and landed itself an Emmy for Technology and Engineering. Sure... It takes alot to stick a label on a PS2 controller and declare it next-gen, but what were they thinking?I dunno, but it's obvious from the press coverage that Sony pulled some pretty big strings to land themselves this one. Perhaps the Press Release actually meant 'Wii Mote', not 'SIXAXIS', and 'Nintendo', not 'Sony'. It's a mistake easy enough to make... Apart from the fact one technology clearly sucks, whilst the other does not.As a Wii-user, and having tried the SIXAXIS, I can tell you which one is more deserving of an Emmy, no doubt about it. It took my mate Chris over 16 hours to drag me off Wii Sports. This whole thing is whacked up
