      Quotes from Percy Bysshe Shelley
If he is infinitely good, what reason should we have to fear him? If he is infinitely wise, why should we have doubts concerning our future? If he knows all, why warn him of our needs and fatigue him with our prayers? If he is everywhere, why erect temples to him? If he is just, why fear that he [...]

      Ozymandias by Percy Bysshe Shelley
First published in 1818, this poem is known for it's striking images and powerful diction. The message of this poem clings to the reader -- the meaning obvious.OZYMANDIASI met a traveller from an antique landWho said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stoneStand in the desert. Near them on the sand,Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frownAnd wrinkled lip and sneer of cold commandTell that its sculptor well those passions readWhich yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.And on the pedestal these words appear:"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"Nothing beside remains: round the decayOf that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,The lone and level sands stretch far away.Have a nice day!

Coroners Inquest Bahamas: California attorney Howard K. Stern disputed testimony given by South Carolina developer Ford Shelley that he flushed pills allegedly found in Daniel’s jeans pocket after he had died
Stern Testifies In Smith Inquest - By TOSHEENA ROBINSON-BLAIR: Nassau, Bahamas - A close friend of the former US reality TV star the late Anna Nicole Smith not only recounted the final hours of the celebrity’s 20-year-old son’s life while on the witness stand Tuesday, but also refuted previous testimony that he possibly got rid of evidence. California attorney Howard K. Stern was the last witness to take the stand in the Coroner’s Inquest that began in November, but was delayed while the court tried to secure testimony from American witnesses – who are not compelled to come to The Bahamas to give evidence in the matter. On the witness stand Tuesday, Mr. Stern described the young man as a good person, even though his mother sent him to live with caretaker Raymond Martino after

The Idiot File: Shelley Duncan; Really, Who Do You Think You're Fooling...
I've not done this in a while, but welcome to the list Shelley Duncan. I'm wondering if you're high, or are trying to look cool for your teammates - either way, it's not working. Shelley Duncan gives his thoughts on what happened yesterday - was he involved in the game we were watching?ESPN: Shelley Duncan watched video of his hard slide in the Yankees' game Wednesday against Tampa Bay and still doesn't think it was a dirty play. The New York first baseman's slide into second base with his spikes raised sparked a bench-clearing scrum that resulted in two players and two coaches being ejected during the second inning of Wednesday's contest with the Rays."I saw it a couple times," Duncan said Thursday. "I still don't understand why they were as upset as they were."Duncan, who had hinted at th

      50x365 #75: Shelley B.
You acted like you wanted to be my friend, and guileless as I was at seven, I let you in. The following items promptly went missing from my desk: gloves with a design that showed up when cold, lip gloss, and my purple pen. I wish you’d liked yourself more.I am a participant in x365 and Holidailies 2007.

      Movie Review: Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein
Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is actually Kenneth Branagh’s Frankenstein. He may not be a Tim Burton, but his background in Shakespearean productions adds an interesting twist to this take in the style of a Greek tragedy. This big budget horror followed Much Ado About Nothing, and Branagh tried to free himself from the shackles of [...]

Undervalued Superstars # 1- Alex Shelley
There are many stars around today who must wonder who they've pissed off. They have both in ring talent and good mic skills and yet remain over looked. Here is my first article in a series looking at undervalued superstars I'll start off with Alex Shelley.Alex Shelley first appeared on most people's radar in 2003 during his spell with Ring Of Honor, mainly for his time spent in the group Generation Next where he teamed with Austin Aries, Jack Evans and Roderick Strong. A series of strong performances and his skills on the microphone had many questioning whether a call from WWE was on the cards, but it didn't materialize and Alex Shelley instead started to appear in TNA, along with still competing in Ring Of Honor.Alex Shelley was paired with Goldy Locks and dubbed Baby Bear when he signed with TNA on July 8, 2004 but he soon asked for his release when booker Dusty Rhodes didn't use him. Alex Shelley signed a new contract in 2005 when Rhodes quit his job as TNA's booker and return

      Keads e Shelley

      SNAP! by Shelley Munro
The Time to SNAP! is now Snap! by Shelley Munro An inheritance should be something pleasant, like money or jewelry or a personal memento. That's exactly what accountant Alice Beasley is expecting the lawyer to announce at the reading of her aunt's will--a nice surprise to ensure her future security. Instead Alice inherits a condom company called Fancy Free along with numerous associated problems: elderly board members who are more preoccupied with cake, coffee, knitting and frank discussions of sex; worrying troubles with production and design; the attentions of a stalker with a costume fetish, and then there's the manager--James AKA Mr. Dashing. He makes her very nervous indeed. It's clear to Alice she has fallen down a rabbit hole into a chaotic Wonderland, and she's waiting for someone to pinch her awake. Alice wants normal, she wants security and love, but what she gets is fun and passion and physical pleasure while bad boy James teaches her about managing a condom company.

Rep. Shelley Berkley (D-NV-1) on the Screw Nevada Bill:
"Mr. Speaker, I rise today to condemn in the strongest possible terms President Bush's latest attempt to resurrect the fatally flawed Yucca Mountain Project in my home State of Nevada...If the President has his way, Nevada will become the world's nuclear garbage dump...Billions of dollars have already been wasted on this hole in the middle of the Nevada desert, and the truth remains that Yucca Mountain is no closer to opening today than it was 20 years ago when Nevada was unfairly singled out as the only State to be considered as a location to bury nuclear waste. That is known affectionately in the State of Nevada as the Screw Nevada Bill."--March 8, 2007.
