Time to set goals for the new year coming soon. This makes me think of a canoe trip I took many years ago with my husband up in Concord, NH. STOP! Stop right there and take a deep breath. Okay, sit down and relax for a moment. Oh, I feel better already. Are you constantly running through each day, late to appointments, and never enough time for anything?
If this is the case, it’s time to look at your time management. How well do you stick to your daily plan? What’s consitantly causing you to be late? Have you written down your agenda for the day, the times, and how long it will take you to get there?
Doing this simple task can dramatically improve your time management, and will relieve a lot of stress out of your daily life.
Just before bed, write down everything you need to do the next day. Then you can realize how much time you will have to wake up and get ready. You are already starting your day off good, and will be happy about it. Plan to arrive wherever you’re going 5-10 minutes early. This way, if there’s a little bit of traffic, it won’t be a problem.
