I have lived in Kunitachi City in Western Tokyo for 6 months and I admit that the rush hour in the Chuo Line is maybe the wost amongst all train lines. But my perception was wrong upon seeing this recently uploaded video in You Tube. It appears as the train line is the yellow-line Sobu Line Rapid service in Chiba going to Tokyo. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan have this bond between each other. When they act together, it put a smile on your face. Chris's wit and Jackie's innocent look. It made you laugh uncontrollably. I love Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker teamed up in this3rd sequel of Rush Hour, an action-comedy film. Even though Jackie still doing his own stunt but not like before where he had done a daredevil stunt like jumping from a shopping complex or something. Of the two and a half funny moments in Rush Hour 3, I prefer the one in which detectives Lee and Carter (Chan and Tucker) interrogate a Chinese-French flunky (one might imply from the henchmen’s exotic background that they’d be interesting characters, but they have about as much depth as those in the employ of Mr. Freeze). Because the only translator available is a nun, they mask some of the impolite words commonly heard in the course of a third degree application by referring to them only by their first letter, “tell him his mother’s an “H” word.” If this scene’s on youtube, you can safely skip the rest of this awful, tedious film.

While I guess Jason Bourne just couldn't hold up at the box office. Rush Hour 3 took the top spot this weekend. I suppose the Chan/Tucker duo is still funny. You would think people would be getting a little tired of Rush Hour, but the numbers don't lie. I think that Chris Tucker can get a little annoying after an hour, but Chan, he is a winner. Rush Hour 2 came out six years ago, so maybe people need a little bit of martial arts and comedy. Sadly I feel the law of diminishing returns has already set in for The Simpsons Movie. The dog days of summer aren't keeping people out of the theaters though.

Jackie Chan’s new action comedy sequel ‘Rush Hour 3′ has been banned in China despite his status as a national hero.
The Hong Kong-born actor’s film has prompted controversy in recent weeks over a scene where a family involved in organised crime visits Paris. The association with Triad gang members reportedly angered Chinese authorities.
The state-run Film Bureau insists, however, that the decision to block the movie’s release was taken for commercial reasons, even though the first two movies in the franchise were box office hits.
Xiao Ping, of China Film Group’s import and export department, says: “We think it will not be popular in China.”

Rush Hour 3 with Jackie Chan and funny man Chris Tucker is in movie theatres. As the name suggests, it is the third installment in the comedy/action series starring the two actors. The first one was great. The second one wasn’t nearly as good, but was still worth watching because of the martial art of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker can be pretty funny too. My most favorite part of the movie, however, was the fight scene between Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star Ziyi Zhang and Roselyn Sanchez (not sure if I’ve seen her in anything else). You gotta love a good cat fight. Not to mention that there is nothing hotter than a super hot chick who is perfectly capable of kicking your ass.
I am really interested to see how this turned out to be. Hopefully, the long wait since the last one (Rush Hour 2 was released in the early part of 2002) means that this latest sequel Rush Hour 3 is better written and tries to do more than just get by on the star power of the ever popular Jackie C

Oh Dear, not again! Talk has begun about a possible fourth Rush Hour Movie. Director Brett Ratner introduced Rush Hour 3 at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre premiere on Tuesday joking, ““I’d like to welcome everyone to the first production meeting of ‘Rush Hour 4.’”
Once the laughs had died down, New Line Cinema Co-Chairman and Co-Ceo told Variety that he’d ‘love’ to do another “Rush Hour”. Of course, another sequel will depend on how well Rush hour 3 does at the box office.
Movies like Rush Hour, which appeal to everyone while staying relatively family friendly, usually do well at the box office means that a sequel is usually on the cards.
With Rush Hour 2 taking three years, and Rush Hour 3 six years to materialise, maybe a fourth movie is a long way off? Personally I would rather it never come at all!

During our recent trip to the region, we were witness to an exceptional moment in the serene and remote Caraiva (a scene that belongs to the imagery of the big city): the rush hour. Of a serene and gentle kind of sort, that is, nothing like the frantic comings and goings we’ve grown used to.
When the kids arrive back from school, across the river, there is a temporary explosion of boats going up and down the river, people crossing on one direction, people coming back on the opposite one. The rush hour reaches its climax in moments like the one portrayed here, when three boats dispute simultaneously the space in the wide Caraíva river. If only the rush hour could always be like this!

I was supposed to go to school today but the typhoon changed my plans and classes were canceled so I decided to watch a movie with my girlfriend. It was a choice between Rush Hour 3 and Surf’s up. I love penguins but I guess past successes goaded me to watch the former. Penguins can’t do kung-fun anyway.
