By LARRY NEUMEISTER, Associated Press Writer April 16, YahooNEW YORK (AP) — J.K.

J.K. Rowling wants Harry Potter to be completely naked in the next movie. The Scottish author saw Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the boy wizard in the big screen adaptations of her magical book series, strip off on the London stage for his role in 'Equus' and joked it would be interesting to see her character in the buff. Daniel said: "When Jo came to see 'Equus', she popped backstage afterwards and said, 'In the next film, Harry's going to be naked all the time!' " The 18-year-old actor also confessed he feels he can be a disappointment to his female fans when they met him in real life. He added: "I don't think I intimidate them. I disappoint them if anything. Because on screen everyone looks cool. In real life they don't look as good. I don't, anyway." Daniel is being replaced in 'Equus' by Lily Allen's brother Alfie. He is set to go on a nationwide tour starting in Chichester on January 31.
Dale click, y recibirás unos nuevos apuntes a tu álbum!!

You'd think it would be incredibly hard to do, but J. K. Rowling has once again pissed me off by doing something that no respectable writer would do in her position. You can find the story here. The short version is that Rowling is going to publish seven copies of a new book called The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Yes, only seven. We'll get back to that in a minute. Six copies are going to her friends and family, and the last copy is going to be put up for auction for charity--the bid starts at $62,000. Okay, now the only good side to this is that she's raising money for kids. Here is my problem. You are the richest damn person in England and practically the richest woman in the whole freaking world. So, instead of saying "thank you fans for making me filthy stinking rich" you're going to take a nice dump right in the face of everyone that supported you by not making this book accessible to everyone. Gee, thanks Rowling. I appreciate it. I mean, goodness, I spend over $200 of

In light of the ridiculous controversy this has engendered, and in protestation against the Massachusetts Catholic school that recently banned the Harry Potter books, I decided it was time to make a statement. Snuffles was supposed to do it, but he says he finds the subject "too boring." I know we're late on this, but The Sci Fi Catholic is late on this sort of thing by design. This isn't a news agency. We like to get our bearings and think a while before shooting our mouths off.In case you're not up on your inexplicably world-rocking literature news, J. K. Kind readers have provided me with links, so for the complete story, see this article at The Leaky Cauldron. Catholic blog The Blue Boar has an interesting statement and link.
Gracias Harrylatino!
A shock to some, a confirmed interpretation for others, this isn’t fan fiction. This is a candid revelation about JK Rowling’s writing process and prowess:
BBC NEWS | Entertainment | JK Rowling outs Dumbledore as gay
She took audience questions and was asked if Dumbledore found “true love”.
“Dumbledore is gay,” she said, adding he was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, who he beat in a battle between good and bad wizards long ago.
The audience gasped, then applauded. “I would have told you earlier if I knew it would make you so happy,” she said.
“Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” she added, saying Dumbledore was “horribly, terribly let down” and his love for Grindelwald was his “great tragedy”
I applaud JK’s decision to reveal this intriguing tid bit about Dumbledore’s backstory. I do so, not just because it will piss off the religious right even more about the Potter books,
Her readers were shocked. Can wizards be gay?
J.K. Rowling has let loose one of the biggest secrets in literary history: Dumbledore is gay. Amidst the gasps (and even applause), Rowling seemed surprised herself. “You all didn’t know? I thought I made it quite clear,” she told the group of loyal readers. She then grabbed a copy of the latest Harry Potter book, flipped to the middle, and said, “You’re telling me, when Dumbledore says, ‘Harry, young wizards are naturally curious. If it’s all right with you, I’d like for you to ride my old quidditch broom. It’s not what it used to be, but it can still get the job done. Now unzip my pants,’ that you all didn’t know what I was talking about?!”

As if the religious right didn’t hate the Harry Potter books enough, J, K. Rowling has given them yet another reason to condemn the series. In response to a question about whether the Hogwarts Headmaster ever found true love, Rowling revealed that he is gay:
“Dumbledore is gay,” the author responded to gasps and applause.
She then explained that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards. “Falling in love can blind us to an extent,” Rowling said of Dumbledore’s feelings, adding that Dumbledore was “horribly, terribly let down.”
Dumbledore’s love, she observed, was his “great tragedy.”

Author JK Rowling said, “It would feel wrong to create another fantasy universe in her future literary works.”
The incredibly successful billionaire has been at the center of attention since the final book,, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, in her series was published.
J.K. Rowling had made known, before the publication of the latest book, that she felt it would not be fair to continue following the doings of the magical world she created. She has confirmed this notion in an interview with the USA Today newspaper.
J.K. Rowling said, “I think that there will be some disappointment if I don’t write another fantasy. But I must admit, I think I’ve done my fantasy. To go and create another fantasy universe would feel wrong, and I don’t know if I’m capable of it.”
However, J.K. Rowling explained she is already at work on two new projects, one for children and one for adults. Many had thought she might find it difficult to come up with new

This one’s for Harry Potter followers. I’m taking a peek into what J.K. Rowling is up to after the phenomenal Harry Potter series today. According to the WENN world entertainment news, Rowling is already working on two more books.
With the Deathly Hallows just released in bookshops around the globe, Rowling’s plans were still hazy back then. She merely said, “I’m sort of writing two things at the moment. One is for children and the other is not for children.
Yesterday, however, something more concrete came up:

JK Rowling has lost a battle in London's High Court to ban the publication of a picture of her son David. He was photographed at the age of 20 months in Edinburgh, Scotland along with her- the photo was printed by the Sunday Express.Rowling claimed the child's right to privacy was infringed and sued the newspaper and the agency that provided the picture, in the attempt to stop future publication.Yesterday, the judge said that the law did not provide celebrities with "a press-free zone for their children in respect of absolutely everything they choose to do."Rowling and her husband Neil Murray said they were, "Disappointed by the judgement, which seems to have misunderstood our claim.""Our aim has only been to protect our children from press intrusion during their childhood. We see no legitimate reason why, as in this case, David, who was less than two years of age at the time, should have his photograph taken and then published in the press.""We take his, and that of his siblings, pr
The final installement of the Harry Potter series really needs little extra comment online from me, but as the rules of this blog require me to record this completed novel, I will make a few brief points. Other blogs have commented on the massive marketing machine that has accompanied this book, however, such a machine can only promote a book to a certain extent. The truth is of course that
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling Tuesday lost a court fight in London to ban publication of a photograph of her young son.Rowling, whose seventh and final Potter book was released worldwide last month to a frenzy of excitement and record sales, had argued at the High Court that her son David's right to privacy was invaded by the picture. The photograph, showing Rowling and her husband Neil Murray with the child in a buggy, was taken by a picture agency photographer using a long-range lens in a street in her home city of Edinburgh in 2004.The boy, now aged four, was 20 months old at the time.Rowling and Murray took action in the child's name against the agency, Big Pictures (UK) and Express Newspapers, seeking damages and an injunction banning further publication of the shot or any others of the boy.But the court ruled that the law would not allow Rowling to carve out a press-free zone for her children and struck out proceedings against the photo agency. Express Newspapers had separate

In the five days since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was released to worldwide frenzy, J.K. Rowling has helped her 2-year-old daughter set up a new dollhouse, cleaned the fish tank and gone to the grocery store to buy chicken — sure signs she's ready to get back to a normal life.
Or as normal as possible when you're the publishing industry's author of the moment and, with earnings of about $1 billion, probably its richest as well.

It was highly interesting for me to see Rowling's feelings regarding her work being leaked on the internet last week, and how it feels to see such a big chapter in her literary life draw to a close. Great reading.

First of all, the Welsh Blog Awards I talked about on Saturday that were due to end on Sunday now end next Friday. I think because some categories are struggling under the sheer brilliance that is my blog. Keep voting for me, and I will not spoil the end of Harry Potter 8. Yes, there is an eighth book, the last word is “bangable” (thanks to my namesake for nominating me!).
Speaking on Harry Potter: it’s official, After spending the weekend getting stats, I can confirm you lot are addicted to Harry Potter, and forsaked this blog to instead read JK Rowling’s latest offering. You were probably aware about it, you selfish bastards. As me whinging probably won’t convey the statistical raping this blog took over the weekend, allow me to present it in graph form.
It’s a lot. It usually drops down to around to 350 at weekends, but this weekend was much lower (Sunday was around 250, Monday was 600). Did anybody else in bloggerdom have their stats Avada
The final volume of Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling is finally here and creates bigger frenzy among the fans more than ever. Amazingly enough, the book became a best seller even before the book was officially released for sale.
Few hours ago, a radio news stated that a kid almost drowned after jumping into a lake when his copy of the latest Harry Potter’s book receipt fell into the lake. Thousands of people were also seen camping outside of the Waterstones Bookstore in London while here in Malaysia, MPH and Popular Bookstore do not sell the books to public and the book is only available to those who made pre-bookings.
Kudos to JK Rowling who has successfully elevated the reading habit into a completely new level. Few know the humble beginning of this writer, who before the release of her very first Harry Potter book, was a struggling mother and an unemployed living on welfare.

This, and that the fifth Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been in the cinemas for a week now.As an educated guess, I will say that today, more books will be sold than in any previous day in history. Last night thousands to millions of fans would have camped out in front of stores like Barnes and Noble to get there eager Muggle hands on the last Harry Potter book ever to be published: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Never in history has any other author been so successful and none so deserving. I did a lot of reading about her for this article and realised she is THE BEST RAGS-TO-RICHES STORY in the history of mankind. In 1993 J.K. (Joanne) Rowling was living on a welfare grant of £69 (About $100 at the time) a week while calling a mouse-invested loft flat in Edinburgh, Scotland her home. Divorcee and mother of
