Nicole Spence, Wendy Williams' talent Booker at WBLS 107.5 FM filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission yesterday alleging that Williams' husband, and manager, 33-year-old Kevin Hunter, tried demanding sex from her on repeated occasions and also claims that he physically abused Wendy Williams at the radio station. Wow, talk about the Wendy experience, I really don't care too tough for Wendy, but I feel Mr. Hunter is acting like a jerk! Spence, age 27 says in the complaint that Hunter harassed her for sex more than a dozen times and created a hostile work environment by repeatedly beating up Williams, age 43. Hughes: I get roughed up every Spring Training
From Bryan Hoch:Phil Hughes has never hung around a big league camp this long, but those who know his career path would recognize this as the point when the spring results always get a little wobbly."For the most part, I seem to get roughed up every Spring Training," said Hughes, who surrendered three home runs in his first two innings. "Even when I'd go down to the Minor League side, it seemed like I'd always get hit hard. I guess it's pretty normal."I'd like it not to be that way, but it seems like it's just something that happens. It's not dumb luck or anything. It's because I'm leaving some balls over the plate." Hughes also said he was overthrowing a bit:"I got frustrated, and a couple of those balls left the yard," Hughes said. "I was trying to put a little extra on and got in more t

Moose Roughed Up in First Spring Outing
Here is his line: 2 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO, 1 HR ... pretty ugly.Even though he got hit hard Mussina didn't seem too upset about his performance today. He said he "felt good," but that he's "not in pitching shape," and "wasn't able to get the ball where [he] wanted it with two strikes." Which is something you would expect in the first week or two of spring training, when a pitcher's command isn't quite there yet. He also complained that he doesn't have an out pitch at the moment, which worries me a bit, as that seemed to be his problem for much of last year -- he was unable to put hitters away. But it is only his first game of the spring so I'm not ready to panic yet. Here's Peter Abraham's take on the matter: I’m sure the many members if the Yankee Panic Society will proclaim th

Gagne: Roughed up against Padres, still Rangers closer
Eric Gagne was roughed up in Tuesday's game against the Padres, surrendering four earned runs in one inning of work. Rangers manager Ron Washington said he's confident Gagne will be ready to be his closer on Opening Day. "Yes, without a doubt," Washington said. "He's healthy. I've seen better stuff than he's shown today, but he's healthy. He's the closer. I'm not going to take the ball away from him." The one thing the Rangers do know is Gagne is unlikely to be ready to pitch back-to-back games once the regular season starts. Source: MLB.com

Harang: Gets Roughed Up But Records 9 K's
Reds SP Aaron Harang dropped his spring record to 2-2 Sunday after losing to the Braves. He allowed eight hits, four runs (three earned) and two homers in five innings. He did however have nine strikeouts. His spring ERA stands at 6.14 in 14 2/3 innings after Sunday. Since he joined the Reds, Harang has been the most dependable member of a pitching staff that has been the club's biggest weakness. He had his best season last year, going 16-11 with a 3.76 ERA in 35 starts. Consider Harang quietly one of the top 25 aces in Fantasy, especially because he has the potential for 200-plus strikeouts.
