I love stuff like this: Kitchen One is a project by Lionel Devlieger in collaboration with Eric Van den Broucke. The paneling of the cupboards for this kitchen is made out of laser-cut plywood, an industrial leftover from a company that specialized in die-cutting cardboard for the packaging of luxury-goods. The wooden boards were used as punching-plates for punching out the shape of unfolded boxes from large sheets of cardboard. Gracias a la tecnología de la hélice, en 36 m² de superficie habitable real se instalaron las áreas funcionales cocina, baño y dormitorio, la cuales giran sobre un disco apoyado en el piso, dando la sensación de ser de tamaño mucho mayor.
