On the Anchorage Daily News site this morning, I pulled up the very sad story of 24-year old Stephen Cavanaugh, who survived 300 missions in Iraq and then was killed back home when his Camaro hit a cow moose. The first time that I saw rotating header images was on Chris Pearson’s personal blog Pearsonfied.com and I really liked the feature a lot. If you do not already know Chris is the man responsible for the well designed Cutline Wordpress Theme that actually comes with an implementing tutorial for adding the rotating image headers including the images. This may be the answer you’ve been looking for if you do not mind changing your entire theme just to get image rotations up top.
Anyway since I do not want to change my entire theme and with a little from my friend Google I was able to locate quite a few methods in which to accomplish the fabulous image rotation. Another feature that i love from Office 2007 is it ability and easy to rotate any objects such picture. When you are including graphics in a Word document many times you want to place the image in a particular way or at a certain angle. Word 2007 has just the tool for the job. Open your Word document and click on the picture or graphic you want to move. You will see the edit outline around your graphic. Now left click the top green knob and hold the object and start to rotate it. Below you can see the graphic start to move. In the second picture here I added an object and am rotating it as you will notice the first graphic is at an angle. Here is the result of a couple of simple objects in a Word 2007 document that I rotated around a bit so you have an idea. You can do this with any picture, graphic, and even text!

Wow, check out these rotating towers that can power itself!
While the technical details of the wind-power system are sketchy at best, the architect, David Fisher, claims that the tower could power itself and ten other similar sized buildings. Frankly, the claim seems somewhat outlandish, but even if it produces just it’s own energy, it would be a significant achievement.
Fisher has proposed that towers be built in a new way, basically by stacking platters on a central concrete core. This will allow for two unique and awesome features. First, a wind turbine between every floor (see image above) and, second, rotating floors.
