The art and the story were pretty good, good enough to keep me reading all the way through. In this series the X-Men were made up of just Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and their fearless Yoda like leader, Toad. The X-Men were fighting the Hellfire Club lead by Professor Xavier and his two daughters. His daughters also have telepathic mutant powers. No manga style story would be complete without Mecha so you can rest assured they are included. But they are wiped out quickly by Jean Grey and her awakening Phoenix powers.

No hay muchos comics que representen el género del steampunk, si recientemente hablabamos de Stickleback ahora le toca el turno a Robotika de la que Archaia Press que anunció hace un tiempo que prepara una segunda miniserie y no es de extrañar puesto que junto con Mouse Guard y Artesia es una de sus mejores licencias, por el momento, ya que tendrá un 2007 repleto de títulos. Robotika no solo es steampunk, más abstracta pero más cercana a la realidad es la descripción de Archaia como el primer western samurai-sushi-ciencia-ficción-steampunk a lo que se podría añadir cyberpunk o incluso fantasía, es una combinación de géneros conocidos para dar lugar a algo nuevo. Frank Miller, creador de cómics que han simplemente arrasado no sólo en taquilla con sus adaptaciones fílmicas, sino que obtuvieron muy buenas críticas, llevará un nuevo comic al cine, de la mano de Warner Bros.
El film será dirigido por Sylvayn White (cuya única película conocida, hasta el momento, es una llamada “Stomp the Yard”). Y el presupuesto, así como la filmación, se llevarán a cabo de manera similar a la usada en 300; es decir, un constante uso de la pantalla verde para la recreación de escenarios.
Ronin nos cuenta la historia de un samurai “sin dueño”, el cual carga con la verguenza de haber dejado que su maestro fuera asesinado por un demonio. Cuando la espada del maestro es descubierta nuevamente en New York, en la actualidad, ambos el demonio y el ronin reviven, en una lucha por apoderarse nuevamente de estar arma.

Warner Brothers will adapt the Frank Miller graphic novel Ronin as a live-action feature to be directed by Sylvain White (Stomp The Yard).
The studio, which turned Miller’s 300 into a blockbuster this year, optioned their rights to the DC graphic novel about a 13th-century disgraced samurai reborn as a cyborg in a corrupt New York City in the year 2064.
The title character must find a sword with mystical powers and destroy his reincarnated foe, the ancient demon Agat.
In 1998, Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain) was to develop and direct Ronin’s feature adaptation for New Line Cinema.
