Back inside of Zugzwang with the Ronan blues again
Remember this? The final diagram in Ronan Bennett's Zugzwang, which claims to demonstrate a position of zugzwang, when plainly it does not - as I wrote in a piece on the subject last November, as well as discussing a number of serious errors in some of the book's other diagrams. (I subsequently wrote another piece exploring the question of whether a state of zugzwang was actually present in the

Ronan Keating - She Believes (In Me)
"She Believes In Me" is a country pop song, recorded by American star singer Kenny Rogers on his very popular 1978 album The Gambler. The song was written by Steve Gibb (but not Steve Gibb,) and is the tale of a songwriter who has a beloved too good for him.The song was a childhood favourite of Irish singer Ronan Keating, and he recorded it in 2004 as part of his Turn It On album. Rewriting the lyric a bit (hence getting some of the publishing royalties) and rearranging the title textually to "She Believes (In Me)", Keating reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart with his treatment. It was at most a modest hit elsewhere in Europe, placing in the Top 30 in three countries there.Download Ronan Keating - She Believes (In Me)

Ronan Keating - Bring You Home
Ronan Keating - Bring You HomeWhen you're lost and there's no where to goAnd your heart bears a heavy loadDon't give up 'cos you are not alone'Cos I am always here to bring you homeYou took a chanceYou crossed the thin red lineAnd how every word can seem so unkindDon't believe you'll ever lose it all'Cos I am always here to bring you homeYou'll make mistakesAnd hearts will breakAnd tears will always fallThe world is turning and you are learningWhat matters most of allThat you are not aloneNow's your time, so go on be freeDon't hold back, be all that you can beAnd if you fall, you don't fall alone'Cos I am always here to bring you homeYou'll make mistakesAnd hearts will breakAnd tears will always fallThe world is turning and you are learningWhat matters most of allThat you are not aloneWhen you're lost and there's no where to goAnd your heart bears a heavy loadDon't give up 'cos you are not alone'Cos I am always here to bring you home

Four O'Clock in the morningMy minds filled with a thousand thoughts of youAnd how you left without warningBut looking back I'm sure you tried to talk it throughNow I see it so clearlyWe're together but living separate livesSo I wanna tell you I'm sorryBaby I can't find the wordsBut if I could, then you know I wouldYeahNo I won't let go, know what we can beI won't watch my life crashing down on meGuess I had it all right there before my eyes, yeah(Girl) I'm sorry now you were the last thing on my mindYou carried me like a riverHow far we've come it still surprises meAnd now I look in the mirrorStaring back is a man I used to be, with youHow I long for you, yeahNo I won't let go, know what we can beI won't watch my life crashing down on meGuess I had it all right there before my eyes, yeah(Girl) I'm sorry now you were the last thing on my mindOh I'm sorry now, you were the last thing on my mindGirl, I'm sorry I was wrongCould have been thereShould have been so strongSo I'm

      WordPress 2.05 - Ronan - Permalinks Issue
So, WordPress 2.05 (Ronan) came out while I was asleep and I’ve just finished upgrading 3 sites to it, including my blog. Upgrading was relatively painless, although there was a minor issue which could cause you some issues if your not savvy to it: WordPress 2.05 can alter your permalink structure which can leave links unreachable. When your upgrading (always make sure you back up) the “read me” states: Before you upgrade anything, make sure you have backup copies of any files you may have modified such as index.php. Upgrading from any previous WordPress to 2.0: Delete your old WP files, saving ones you’ve modified Upload the new files Point your browser to /wp-admin/upgrade.php You wanted more, perhaps? That’s it! Now, if you delete all your files, you’ll probably delete your .htaccess file as well. This is okay (as long as you haven’t any handwritten code in there), as you’ll be uploading the default one anyway. I always do this, and

Ronan Hardiman - Feet Of Flames (1998)
Amikor Michael Flatley, a géppuskalábú ír táncos lenyűgöző előadásait élvezzük, nem igazán tudjuk, hogy e produkciók mögött egy higgadt banktisztviselő áll. Pedig valamennyi Flatley műsor az 1961-ben Dublinban született Ronan Hardiman háttérzeneíró (film, TV és show) zenéjén alapszik.Részlet a Feet Of Flames előadásából:Az album felvételei:1.
