Michelle Rodriguez has checked herself into Lynwood jail to serve her 180 days for violating her probation.
Michelle must serve the full stretch in the overcrowded jail, where sentences for minor crimes are often cut short.
In November, actress Lindsay Lohan served 84 minutes of a 1-day sentence, while reality TV starlet Nicole Richie was released 80 minutes into her 4-day term in August.
But don’t expect Michelle to go in and out of jail within days. The judge working her case was not happy that she violated her probation and basically said that an early release or home confinement was out of the question.

Yesterday, the details of Alex Rodriguez's contract was divulged and this much will be certain -- he will be a supremely wealthy man when all is said and done.Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees have agreed on a $30 million marketing package based on home-run achievements that could raise the total value of his new contract to $305 million over 10 years.Under the agreement, which remains to be finalized, Rodriguez could receive $6 million each for tying the home-run levels of Willie Mays (660), Babe Ruth (714), Hank Aaron (755) and Barry Bonds (762), and an additional $6 million for breaking Bonds' major league record.The Yankees could designate each level as a historic event, enabling Rodriguez to receive the added money in exchange for additional personal appearances and signed memorabilia for the club. Congratulations to Alex Rodriguez for winning his third MVP award today. Alex Rodriguez had one of the best seasons in the history of baseball. This year he hit .314, with 156 RBIs and 56 home runs. He was walked 95 times and he stole 24 bases. His slugging pct. was also .645. A career high.

Jai’s also usually the one who gives the “big wow” of the show - free dinners, free trips, free everything. How could you NOT love Jai?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is scheduled to attend a fundraiser for Rep. Ciro Rodriguez, who’s expected to face Republican opposition to his re-election bid.
Pelosi, D-Calif., who contributed to Rodriguez’s come-from-behind victory against Rep. Henry Bonilla, R-San Antonio, two years ago, has agreed to attend the fundraiser at the home of lawyer Frank Herrera.
The event is scheduled Nov. 17.

Last week it was reported that Universal Studios had backed out of Robert Rodriguez’s big-screen remake of Barbarella because Robert wouldn’t budge on the casting choice of his new fiancée, Rose McGowan. Apparently, McGowan isn’t a big enough start to carry a $100 million film!
The New York Observer’s source said,
“It’s sort of embarrassing for everyone involved. No one thinks Rose can carry the movie, but Robert won’t listen.”
Robert Rodriguez us denying that the production trouble is due to casting troubles. Robert claims that it had to do with the skyrocketing budget, which stands at around $82 million. According to the director, Universal wanted to do the film for around $60 million.
Personally, I think Rodriguez is far too talented to be spending time remaking a film which really doesn’t need to be remade. Seriously, will this generation watch a Barbarella remake?
