If you are a rock music fan and are more than 30 years of age, then the 90's rock may have a special place in your heart. You may want to download 90's rock music but have no idea where you can do it cheaply, or even free.
This is the second time in my history of posting that I am creating a post without a download link. The first time I did this was on "Mutyumu" and trust me when I say. "Mutyumu" indeed has their moments here. The number of comments and mails (mainly emails) I have received about "il-y-a" release are truly unbelievable. However and yet again... today I found myself in this same awful situation wher
Right before every rock fan are a few options to download 90's rock music today. Why the 1990s you may wonder? This is because this period is a colourful period in rock music history. A lot of bands like Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Pearl Jam and Radio Head burst onto the music scene and redefined the meaning of rock.
Earlier this week the music world lost one of the defining figures of rock’n’roll: Bo Diddley.

Beginning in the ‘50s and spanning a 50-year-career, this singer/guitarist introduced the world to his rhythmic beat and powerful vocals on classic tracks like “Who Do You Love,” “I’m a Man” and, of course, “Hey Bo Diddley.” His [...]
Rocker Joan Jett says she has never understood why Britney Spears covered her hit song, I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll’ — and doubts the singer even likes rock music.
Jett, who originally released the song in 1982, said, “I’ve never even heard Britney’s version. I mean, I’ve obviously heard about it, but I never understood that [...]
I grew up listening to rock-n-roll in all its forms -- form Chuck Berry to Jimi Hendrix to Black Sabbath to Iron Maiden to Metallica. And even on occasion, I enjoyed one band almost every god-fearing parent of the 1980's despised -- Slayer. When I got to college and read in Plato's Republic about the kinds of music he would have in his ideal state, I'd already moved beyond rock-in-roll to listening
If you are asking where you can download 80's rock music, the internet can help you find sites for that. The internet has become more populated with common users and businesses and is still growing at an increasing rate. With a wider demand from online users, business stores and even music stores have started establishing online sites as well.

By: jm "Live fast die young leave a good looking corpse"-Christina Slater in the True Romance movieRock Stars...we are fascinated by them as much as we idolize Hollywood celebrities. We listen to their music, buy the CDs, hang their posters on every wall of our room, watch them at MTV, and go to their concerts. We idolized them so much that we often see them as demi-gods. But beneath all that fame and fortune that the world of rock and roll had given them, many of these rock stars are on the path to self-destruction.Often, being a rock star would also mean that they are associated with substance abuse and drug overdose such as the case of Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, among others. It is a merry-go-round of money, adulation, traveling, and being in the media. Like other human beings, these demi-gods of rock music are also susceptible to pain and depression. Drugs and alcohol --- two things that get them going, two substances that were supposed to ease their pains and worries... are t
Origins of RockEssentially hybrid in origin, rock music includes elements of several black and white American music styles: black guitar-accompanied blues; black rhythm and blues, noted for saxophone solos; black and white gospel music; white country and western music; and the songs of white popular crooners and harmony groups. Emerging in 1954-55, rock music was initially referred to as "rock 'n' roll" After 1964 it was simply called "rock music" The change in terminology indicates both a continuity with and a break from the earlier period; rock music was no longer just for dancing. After 1964 the music was influenced by British groups such as the Beatles. The 1950s—Bill Haley and Rock 'n' RollThe first rock 'n' roll record to achieve national popularity was "Rock Around the Clock" made by Bill Haley and the Comets in 1955. Haley succeeded in creating a music that appealed to youth because of its exciting back beat, its urgent call to dance, and the action of it
Inspired by the unusual pairing of rocker Robert Plant and country gal Alison Krauss, earlier we took a look at some of country music’s more notable duets. So, it only seems fair that we should look at some noteworthy duets in the rock music world as well.
10. Aerosmith and Run DMC—“Walk This Way”
This oddball collaboration single-handedly spawned the rap-rock genre. Guess that means we can blame Aerosmith for Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. Thanks a lot, fellas.
9. Sonny and Cher—“The Beat Goes On”
You don’t want to admit it, but you know you sing along whenever this groovy duo comes on the radio.
8. Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks—“Stop Dragging My Heart Around”
Millions of karaoke fans can’t be wrong.
7. Trent Reznor (nine inch nails) and Tori Amos—“Past the Mission”
We wanted them to be the weirdo version of Sonny and Cher. They’re weird alright, but it just
Been a while since I watched John Safran doing his thing. Here John tries to sell his mock religious band Jew Town. The video features a clip of DC Talk, and I have to admit that sadly I still like DC Talk's music. If you haven't seen Jew's Rock, then prepare yourself to go down down down to Jew Town. While looking through John Safron Youtubes I came across this gem. This has no religious connotation (unless you worship cows) and it's wholly disturbing and completely thought provoking. WARNING - I'm serious when I say it's disturbing! Burgers will never taste the same to me again.
New Singles
1. Black Kids - Hurricane Jane (Beige remix)
This is a great single that i've just discovered from p4K, and also you can download four songs of them from their Black Kids Myspace page. Great music, tripped me on 80s' glorious tunes and reminds voice of The Cure vocalist a little,...

This joint ‘Forth & Back’ has been stuck in my mind all day, this beat is just too ill, and even though J Dilla’s recent work with his experimenting and what not was still dope, none of his new stuff can compare to his late-ninties sound. So what y’all know about that “Fan-Tas-Tic, Vol. 1“? Many don’t, Vol 1. is Slum’s obvious predecessor to their main stream debut album Fantastic, Vol 2. but never got pushed due to bad pub, but is just as classic. Vol 1. was also recently remastered and released last year so you can cop it if interested, you definitely won’t regret it.

Deah v'Dibur is the online version of Yated Neeman (obviously since the internet is forbidden they can't give the same name to their online version, because that would imply that they use the internet. So, like everyone else, they just pretend that they don't hold of the internet and use it anyway). Yated is the main journal of Chareidi Judaism (that is not an endorsement, just what I think is a statement of fact. You are welcome to disagree). They have outdone themselves in this article, which combines everything we expect from them: shoddy journalism, bad English, opinions stated as facts etc.Dei'ah veDibur - Information & Insight - IN-DEPTH FEATURESWhat surprised me somewhat about this article is that they are happy to use racist statements in their propaganda exercise. What does this line say to you?"According to Allan Bloom (in his book The Closing of the American Mind) rock and roll is indeed no more and no less than the savage and primitive rhythm of darkest Africa." (From Pr
According to the Washington Times (7/2/97) when a Virginia High School student exposed mice to hard rock music 10 hours a day for three weeks, their ability to navigate a maze they already knew decreased significantly. A control group, exposed to classical music, actually improved their maze time. The experiment was cut short because the hard rock mice ate each other.
