Today David Robertson was promoted to AAA after Anthony Claggert was activated from the DL and assigned to AA. The Yankees already have some good young options in the pen (Ohlendorff, Ramirez, Britton, Alba) but Robertson could really put some pressure on those folks if they falter. Also, he has the ability to be a difference maker. I have long thought that the main thing that separates the man from the boys in the pen is the ability to keep the ball in the park. Robertson might
Yesterday it was reported that David Roberston would be promoted to SWB, but we find out today from Chad Jennings (hat tip to River Ave. Blues) that it was Steven Jackson who has been promoted. After tonight's Trenton Thunder game, the Yankees promoted reliever Steven Jackson to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Jackson should be with the team in time for tomorrow's game in Syracuse. Taking Jackson's spot in Double-A is J.B. Cox, continuing his return from Tommy John surgery. You can certainly make a case that David Robertson should be the one coming to Triple-A, but it's hard to have a real problem with Jackson getting the nod. Jackson proved himself in Double-A back in 2006 and he was outstanding this spring. He's also walked just three guys in Trenton. The Yankees have some time to make decisions a
Georgia Tech's DE Darrell Robertson knows how to get after the quarterback and deliver some punishing blows. And teams like the Chargers, Giants and Dolphins are among the many clubs who have noticed. Learn more about him in this exclusive interview with Scout.com's Ed Thompson.
From NJ.com (hat tip to Pending Pinstripes): Reliever J.B. Cox, coming off "Tommy John" elbow ligament replacement surgery, apparently is on his way to Double-A and could be in uniform for the Thunder as early as tonight. Still regarded as one of the Yankees' top pitching prospects, Cox was 0-0 with a 3.00 ERA in six appearances for Class-A Tampa, where pitchers Mark Melancon and Anthony Claggett also are rehabbing injuries. Cox, 24, was 6-2 with a 1.75 ERA for the Thunder in 2006 be fore missing all of last season. In what may or may not be a corresponding move, Franklin described light's out reliever David Robertson as being "on the fast track" and reiterated that he does not expect Robertson to re main in Trenton much longer. Bill Williamson of ESPN.com is reporting that the Jets and Broncos have agreed to trade DT Dewayne Robertson to the Denver Broncos for a conditional 2009 draft choice.
The compensation to the Jets is a conditional 2009 draft choice, believed to be a mid-round pick, dependant upon Robertson’s playing time.

The Detroit Tigers are, without a doubt, in a funk that doesn't bode well for them despite this being very early in the baseball season. Thursday's game against the Boston Red Sox illustrated that fact in a big way as Boston had 13 hits, chasing Detroit starter Nate Robertson as the Red Sox won going away, 12-6, at Fenway Park. Boston was led by J.D. Drew, going 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs while Dustin Pedroia, Coco Crisp and Sean Casey contributed 2 hits each. Winning pitcher Tim Wakefield (1-0) was effectively wild, pitching 5 innings, allowing only 3 hits, an earned run, walking 5 while striking out 5; he also hit two Tigers. Jonathan Papelbon pitched an inning to notch his 3rd save. Detroit was led by Ivan Rodriguez, going 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored and a stolen base while P

Jeff Legwold of the Rocky Mountain News is reporting that despite recent reports, the Broncos have had “almost no talk” with the Jets regarding DT Dewayne Robertson. Don't worry, this site isn't turning into some pregnancy fetish site, I just really like Kathleen Robertson, and it's a very rare site to see her in what would otherwise be a really sexy swimsuit, so pregnant or not, I'm posting these pictures. On the bright side, though, now that she's pregnant, her already huge breasts are even bigger, and that's hot. What's not hot is that snorkle, or the weird face she's making, but I think she got "something" in her eye (most likely salt water, you dirty person). But I'm not really looking at that anyway.
Mike Klis of the Denver Post notes that the Denver Broncos are still interested in Jets defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson, despite the recent firing of their general manager Ted Sundquist. The Jets were working with Sundquist on a proposed deal but was relieved of his duties on Wednesday.
The Broncos have been working with agent Hadley [...]

You can see how Tyna Marie Robertson and people like her will make up anything for money.Tyna Marie Robertson has just made a fool of herself. Michael Flatley was sueing for about 100 million because of the false charges. The court awarded him 12 million though. This case shows that it can hurt you to try to scam innocent people. Just cause Michael Flatley was in riverdance doesn't mean you can sue him. Tyna Marie Robertson will probably never be able to pay that money back.

Much has been said about Pat Robertson's endorsement of Rudy Giuliani. He has been called every thing from crazy to a sell out.I am pro-life without exception. I believe that abortion is legalized murder and there is no way around that fact. As the gravest injustice in America, it should officially be made illegal once and for all. However I'm going to give an opinion that will most likely have most of my readers thinking I have lost it as well.Pat's endorsement is not so crazy and he's not selling out. I hope you will allow me the opportunity to explain how I got there.A lot of the people who are saying these things have never actually had the opportunity to meet Rudy Giuliani. There's a lot of things you can tell about a person from meeting them in person versus reading press reports and seeing them on television.I have had the opportunity to meet and hear Rudy Giuliani speak on two separate occasions. Each time he struck me as nothing but sincere. He insisted that he hated
If you live in LA you know him and if you have visited you probably spotted him and thought hmmmmm. The dancing dude in spandex is a staple to an afternoon of shopping on Robertson. The fixture, John Wesley Jermyn, has been around for more than 20 years. Nicknamed "The Crazy Robertson" and "The Robertson Dancer," here's much speculation about Mr. Jermyn's personal history, including one oft-repeated rumor that he's a secretive millionaire. In a plot twist worthy of Tinseltown, Mr. Jermyn now has a clothing label named after him. Since it was introduced last month, "The Crazy Robertson" brand of T-shirts and sweatshirts, created by a trio of 23-year-olds, has flown off the shelves at Kitson. The clothes feature stylized images of Mr. Jermyn, including one design -- available on a $98 hoodie -- that has a graphic of him dancing and the phrase "No Money, No Problems" on the back. The label's owners, who grew up in Beverly Hills, have created a MySpace page for Mr. Jermyn. It doubles as

Yes, I actually believe that Patrick J. Buchanan was responding to Pat Robertson's endorsement of Rudy Giuliani. Why?

Rudolph Giuliani laughs at the fact he cannot believe he pulled this endorsement off. (Photo by REUTERS). Standing proudly behind the navy blue background with text reading, “JoinRudy2008.com”, Pat Robertson endorsed Rudolph Giuliani’s candidacy on Wednesday. How did Rudy Giuliani, a pro-choice, pro-gay rights candidate, win the endorsement of someone who once told a city not to turn to God if a natural disaster hit their city because they did not favor teaching intelligent design? Robertson’s endorsement of Giuliani is clearly an issue of politics and not faith. Robertson has preached against homosexuality and abortion for years and now all of a sudden he endorses a presidential candidate who does not fit this criteria. There is no lack of presidential candidates that are pro-life in the Republican field. Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, John McCain, and Tom Tancredo are all pro-life. Robertson has obviously decided it is more important th
Somewhere right now John McCain is laughing. McCain got Brownback's endorsement and Giuliani gets this....From the WaPo:Pat Robertson Endorses Rudy:Deems Him 'More Than Acceptable to People of Faith'Pat Robertson, one of the most influential figures in the social conservative movement, announced his support for Rudy Giuliani's presidential bid this morning at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.Robertson's support was coveted by several of the leading Republican candidates and provides Giuliani with a major boost as the former New York City mayor seeks to convince social conservatives that, despite his positions supporting abortion rights and gay rights, he is an acceptable choice as the GOP nominee....Good news for Giuliani? Well having a supporter that can move hurricanes with his mind is always a good thing. However given Robertson's previous comments about the US deserving 9/11 many independents might start looking for another candidate. Over at The Carpetbagger Report
From the man who told you that September the 11th was the result of America's moral decline comes the news today that he has endorsed 'America's Mayor', Rudy Giuliani, for President.Let's remind ourselves what the word hypocrisy means, shall we?Hypocrisy- the act of condemning another person for an act of which the critic is guilty.Maybe this could be the next feature on the 700 Club:

Seems "Holier-than-thou" wingnut Pat Robertson is a little non-plussed about one of his law students at "Regent University."Nice oxymoron. But then, Pat's just a straight-up "moron."
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A Regent University law student who posted an unflattering photo of school founder Pat Robertson on the Internet has been banned from campus and ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation before he can return to classes.
Adam Key also was ordered today to undergo counseling if a mental health provider that is acceptable to the university deems it appropriate, and to provide a report showing that he has completed any treatment plan required. He also must agree to allow the mental health provider to provide regular updates on his treatment to the school.
This all after Key posted a picture of Regent's chancellor and president making what appears to be an obscene gesture on his social-networking page. Key said he copied the photo from a video in which Robertson scratches his fac
Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News has a nice piece on Dewayne Robertson and how he is fitting into the 3-4 NT role, and how he will bring unique attributes to it that many traditional 3-4 NTs cannot.
When Bobby Hamilton talks about defensive linemen, you listen. The man has played the position for 11 seasons, a forever run in which he has won two Super Bowl rings and has lined up alongside two likely Hall of Famers, Warren Sapp and Richard Seymour. So, with that in mind, pay close attention to Hamilton’s assessment of teammate Dewayne Robertson.
“I saw some stuff last year that I never thought a defensive lineman could do,” he said recently of the Jets’ nose tackle.
…Even though Bobby Hamilton’s play isn’t great anymore, when he speaks you listen. He is a knowledgeable seasoned vet, and knows what he is talking about when it comes to the defensive line…

As a writer, Garth Ennis is in a weird place today. He's in his finest form, whether it's The Punisher (which shows his handle on telling human stories under the most unlikely circumstance) or The Boys (which shows, just because he's telling crude jokes about superheroes, he can also get the human element in there), but there's almost no buzz around him. His Ghost Rider series got more buzz than anything else lately... and, since he is in that great form, writing some of the best comics coming out today, it's all incredibly distressing. The support The Boys got when DC cut it loose and Dynamite picked it up, that response was the first appropriate response I've seen.At the time, of course, I didn't really appreciate it, because I wasn't reading The Boys. I'd seen a few things, but the way the series is laid out, especially in the first three issues, it's impossible to pick it up and look at it and really get anything out of it. Ennis establishes a pace and some rewarding lit

Nate Robertson pitched five sharp innings Sunday, leading the Detroit Tigers to a 6-0 victory over Tampa Bay in a split-squad game. The left-hander limited the Devil Rays to a pair of singles while reducing his ERA to 0.73 through four spring starts. He struck out four and walked one. "You have to be careful in spring training not to put a lot of stock into when somebody does good," Detroit manager Jim Leyland said, "but he's throwing the ball extremely well." Robertson was most pleased with his efficiency, which enabled him to put in more work in the bullpen before calling it a day. "As long as I'm not going deep in counts and issuing free passes," he said, "and keeping my pitch count down -- those are all good things." Last season, Robertson posted career bests with 13 wins and 208 2-3 innings to help the Tigers win the AL pennant. Pitching coach Chuck Hernandez attributes the improvement to experience. "He came a long way in one year, I think more than anything from the mental asp

It is important for our bodies to receive the nutrients we need to maintain good health. Vitamins and minerals are available in our food but we often do not receive the right amounts through diet alone. It may be necessary to take supplemental vitamins to avoid any deficiency.
Everyone has different needs because of their age, genes or lifestyle. Even a slight deficiency can cause health problems and cause you to feel bad and lose productivity. Lack of energy, sleep disorders and mental fatigue can all be improved with supplemental vitamins.

Acai Plus offers a delicious vitamin drink combined with over 100 nutritional ingredients. The flavor comes from the amazing Acai berry that is from the Brazilian rainforest in South America. This exceptional berry tastes like a blend of berry and chocolate. It is full of antioxidants, amino acids, and essential fatty acids. Lowering cholesterol has become a major concern for many people as they enter middle age and beyond. If left unchecked, high cholesterol can become a serious health hazard. It increases the potential for heart disease, heart attack and stroke. If it is not treated, the arteries continue to build up plaque and become dangerously clogged.
Lower Cholesterol
There are many different drugs to treat high cholesterol but they also have negative side effects with continued use. There are nutritional supplements that are prepared with all natural ingredients that offer comparable benefits, often without harmful side effects. These health products usually work to lower cholesterol in your body that is not healthy.

About the Julian Robertson picks noted in the interview that he discussed, Ryanair (RYAAY) reports earnings Monday. Cramer thinks it looks great, but he would rather wait until after the quarter. On Whole Foods (WFMI) Cramer was worried on WFMI ahead of the number. He had also said the same on Electronic Arts (ERTS). Cramer said that he salutes ERTS for their great quarter, but it is too expensive now.

Tell me the difference between Christian fundamentalists and Islamist fundamentalists now that both are issuing fatwahs. He was a part of Ball Ground's uniqueness for as long as many of us can remember, even if we didn't know him personally, and somehow there was the sense that he would always be there. Many a Sunday, passing through Ball Ground with its row of rock-crammed storefronts, we would see Oscar parked on the side of the road, the guardian of his rocks, watching like a jealous lover as people stopped to stare at the treasures behind locked doors and dark windows. All day, just sitting in his truck, watching. Selling only to a chosen few. We didn't dare stop however. We'd heard the rumors. Oscar was a notorious grouch and defende
Pat Robertson said today that God has told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would cause a "mass killing" late in 2007."I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said during his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network. "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."And George Bush says "nuculur".......I'm hoping that the lord told him that his time is limited on this Earth that way CNN and everyone else will stop writing everytime this dumbass opens his mouth. He probably can't even pull his diaper off so he can go take a shit by himself. For comparison, some guy named Dan Kendra set the record
Christian extremist Pat Robertson is at it again. This time, he's claiming that his god told him to expect a massive terrorist attack late in 2007. There are many things about this story worth discussing. For example, DefCon focuses on the possibility that this and many other statements by Robertson over the years reflect the pro-rapture stance of many Christian extremists. Essentially, they want the world to end as soon as possible so that their Jesus zombie will return. I'd like to examine a different part of this story which I find even more interesting.Regarding his regular god-based predictions over the years, Robertson acknowledges, "I have a relatively good track record. Sometimes I miss." Wait just a second! What is going on here? If I understand him correctly, Robertson's god is supposed to be infallible. He does not make mistakes. This suggests that the one making periodic mistakes is Robertson himself. But if his god is actually speaking to him, what sorts of mistakes are
