A 92-year old woman died this morning from stab wounds she sustained during a home robbery on Sunday evening.Police say Mildred Clontz arrived home last night around 7:00 pm and a man forced his way into her home on Knickerbocker Drive. The suspect(s) stabbed Ms. Clontz several times and robbed her home before fleeing on foot.The victim was able to call 911 and briefly spoke with police after the attack. Shortly before 1:00 am, two people were shot during an attempted armed robbery at the Snug Harbor Bar, located on Gordon Street.Police say two masked men entered the bar armed with a shotgun and handgun and tried to rob the customers inside the bar. When a patron challenged the robbers, the suspects started shooting aimlessly towards the crowd. A man and woman were shot and taken by Medic to the hospital with non-life threatening injures.The two suspects attempted to flee but Officers called in the K-9 unit and were able to catch and arrest Richard Williams Wilson. Shortly after 11:30 am, the State Employee's Credit Union (SECU) on Airport Center Pkwy, was robbed at gunpoint by a black male suspect. (Shown R) During the robbery, the suspect shot a female bank employee. Police say she suffered non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, skinny, about 6' tall and in his mid 20's. Witnesses say a black man with dread locks was driving a blue Honda and both men took off in that car. Investigators recovered the Honda a short time later on Helena Street. The K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to capture the suspects. Early this morning, an innocent bystander was shot inside his home on Amberly Lane by two men who attempted to rob a family member outside the home.Police say one of the residents of the home reported he went outside when two black male suspects approached him and attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The victim ran inside his home and the two robbers started shooting at him through his front door.A family member was sleeping on the couch inside the home when he was shot in the groin. Sanquan Davis (Shown R) was arrested for the armed robbery of a Waffle House on May 10, 2007.After being released on bond, Davis was re-arrested for carrying a concealed gun and possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine. Davis was court ordered into CMPD's Electronic Monitoring program on December 14, 2007.On March 4, 2008, Sanquan Davis cut off his electronic monitor and hasn't been seen since. Davis currently has several outstanding warrants for his arrest as a result of his failure to comply with the court order.Sanquan Davis should be considered armed and dangerous. Maurice Simmons, a Compton Dominguez High linebacker who signed a letter of intent with USC, was arrested this week on suspicion of robbery. Bail was set at $50,000 for the 18-year-old, Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, said Thursday.
