AUSTIN (globest.com) – HK Capital Management Inc., an investment company from Houston, has purchased the Riverside Place shopping center on more than nine acres at 2410 E. Riverside Dr. The 13-year-old, more than 101,000-square-foot center is home to a soon-to-be vacant 60,000-square-foot H-E-B grocery store. That portion will be demolished to become parking for the under-construction, 125,000-square-foot H-E-B Plus. Other tenants in the Class-C, 93 percent leased center include Blockbuster Video, Wingstop, Mr. Gatti's, H&R Block and Joy East Café. Lo que no me podía imaginar era el color dorado que lo envolvía todo. No estoy acostumbrado a madrugar, y menos cuando estas de vacaciones pero realmente merecía la pena. Estábamos junto al río y para llegar a la parada de autobús debíamos dar un paseo y cruzar un puente. El espectáculo del paisaje, los pájaros cantando y esos jardines cuidados con el mas mínimo detalle…no sé. Lo primero que pensabas es si el paisaje era natural ó artificial por el diseño de alguien. Along the Riverside…Do we think enough about choosing the right place to take someone on a first date? Say the riverside for example? Usually the typical places are a café, a bar, a restaurant or the cinema, by why not increasing the chances of success and play the originality card by taking him/her for a walk along the river? Ok, you may not all have a river flowing next door but surely you can find a lake or even a park to go to. I always keep in mind that it is part of human nature to exuberate feelings and euphoria when we’re near an open space with natural elements around. So in the worst case scenario if your date seems to be a total freak you can just go for a cup of coffee and get it over with instead of having to go trough a painful boring expensive dinner. Especially if you picked her/him up on an online dating website, what are the chances to find your other half on the first shot (and it’s more fun to date different people before finding the right one)!! I had a little time before lunch today so I take a little walk. This is near Palackeho square (you can get there by subway - station Karlovo namesti, exit Palackeho namesti; it's the yellow line). The river is called Vltava (it's the longest river in the Czech Republic) and you can see Prague Castle on the horizon. Isn't this nice? :)
