This poor little girl came into rescue with a serious case of demodectic mange and almost no hair, but Mitaban is doing the trick and she's really turning into a little cutie.Riley was lethargic and skeletally thin when she first came into rescue, but good food and good care have brought out the energy in her. A couple weeks? A couple months? Meeting your boyfriend in rehab is not exactly a story you’ll be wanting to tell your grandkids one day…heh heh.
Lindsay is not very forthcoming about Riley, except to say to In Touch Mag that she is dating Riley, is “really happy and taking it day by day”.

He likes to take daily walks around the neighborhood and enjoys a more peaceful home.Riley would make a great companion who can fill that empty spot you may have in your life. Riley gets along with other animals in his foster home but would love to find that special home all his own. He would do better in a home then apartment because he does have the hound bark.Riley is currently being cared for by the Highway of Hope Animal Sanctuary in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Their mission is to help abandoned, lost, surrendered and abused companion animals find homes where they will be loved and taken care of for their lifetime. The 62-year-old Riley gave up coaching in 2003 then returned two years later — when Stan Van Gundy stepped down in December 2005 — and led Miami to the 2006 NBA title. But the Heat was swept out of this past season’s playoffs by the Chicago Bulls and Riley was noncommittal for months about whether he’d remain on the sideline.
Riley said Monday that he plans to coach the Heat for the three remaining years on his contract, an announcement that ends months of speculation about his immediate future. He’ll remain in the dual role of team president as well.
The Heat probably aren’t capable of pulling off a Boston-esque blockbuster this summer, but Riley still believes they can get better and deeper before training camp.
Riley is currently being cared for by The Ark, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama.Riley has been at The Ark two times now. He was adopted when he was a pup and brought back because his new owner was leaving the USA. The Ark adopted him to a new family and he got out of their fence. He wishes he had not done that because he got in lots of trouble. He was injured and it took The Ark five weeks to find him. He has broken bones in his hips that cannot be operated on. He is in no pain and his limp is getting better every day just like his Dr. Michael Newman said they would. He is very loving and gentle and would love to have a wonderful home. Riley weights about 50 lbs. and is a beautiful golden mix.Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. Fenced yards are required.
