Have the US army gone over the top with there new door-breaching rifle, $52 million for a rifle that is going to do a job know better than a sledge hammer. This just seems a lot of money for something to do such a basic job, I really cant see the benefit of been able to blow up a door from a distance.
My opinion is this rifle is going to be more of a danger than anything else, for instance if you are going to attack a building and blow up a door from a distance you will have to run to the door opening, which will give the enemy time to vacate or fight back, what happened to the element of surprise?.

Here is the new M110 semi automatic sniper rifle, this rifle is designed to replace the M 24 which was the previous rifle used by the US forces.
The M24 has been used in modern conflict that has proved to have its bad points, such as its small 5 shot magazine and its single shot, bolt action loading, but yet again the Americans prove them self and bring out yet another outstanding weapon system, The M110 which has a 20 shot 7.62mm magazine with a semi auto load.
My personal opinion on the M110 is not to good though, as a sniper rifle i believe it should have a sound moderator (silencer) built on, and that video shows the amount of kick that soldier was receiving from the rifle which will hinder the grouping size or killing range, and the last thing a sniper needs is to take 2 shots.
