I think this lady is flashing me her thong. Her name is Natasha Richardson, she’s 45 and from the UK and apparantly has some kind of flim or television career there, but I don’t have any idea who she is. What I do know is that she got invited to this Gala Event at the [...]

As the actress from the highly-regarded Redgrave acting dynasty hitched up her pale pink chiffon gown, she inadvertently flashed her nude-coloured thong to the assembled audience. Daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave, Joely Richardson is so terrified of walking the red carpet; she turns into a "different person". The actress hates celebrity events so much, she doesn't recognize herself when she sees photos or film footage - and understands why she's often thought of as an "icy" star.[...] Read more!

New Mexico Governor Responds To The Clintons- Gutter Politics -Asked about James Carville's comments, as reported in the New York Times Saturday, that Richardson's endorsement of Barack Obama was comparable to "when Judas sold out [Jesus] for 30 pieces of silver," an angry Richardson told Wallace, "I'm not going to get in the gutter like that."Then he followed with a blistering attack on the Clinton's inner circle."And you know, that's typical of many of the people around Senator Clinton. They think they have a sense of entitlement to the presidency."He also said both campaigns have been too negative, but then slammed Clinton's campaign.Read Article... Democrat Richardson Politics

There is so much chaos going around today's news cycle, I found it difficult to synthesize all of it for you. I could have posted five different posts today, but I figured I would just throw it all together and let you figure out what to do with it; I certainly couldn't.

Democratic Governor of New Mexico, and former Democratic Presidential Candidate, Bill Richardson just endorsed Barack Obama. This is a major stick in the eye for the Clintons. After all, Richardson was U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and Secretary of Energy under Bill Clinton. But for the Clintons' support in the 1990s, Richardson would just be another Governor today. This endorsement...

Gov. Bill Richardson's endorsement of Barack Obama today in Portland, Oregon. A very powerful speech. Richardson is extremely charismatic, has a sense of humour, and has strong experience. If he keeps this up, he certainly has strong claims for the Vice Presidential role should Obama secure the nomination. The endorsement comes at a perfect time for Obama, and is a blow for the Clinton's who would have been hoping for Richardson's support.
On Friday, Barack Obama received a huge boost with Bill Richardson endorsing his campaign. Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico was a former Democratic presidential candidate and the nation’s only Hispanic governor. Richardson withdrew from the presidential race in January and his endorsement has been highly sought after since then. Former President Bill Clinton spent time watching the Super Bowl with Bill Richardson at his residence in Santa Fe. Obama finished off this week strong. Obama’s speech on race was extremely successful in polling data, showing he will come out of this bad situation looking like a strong leader. Michigan and Florida are not going to hold redo elections. This is good for Obama and leaves Senator Clinton basically no chance of winnin
Yes!! Finally Bill Richardson up his mind. He has decided to endorse Barack Obama. Since he had ended his campaign Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton had many conversations with Bill Richardson in order to try to secure his endorsement. I am one of those people that thinks his endorsement is significant, but since he did it this late in the game I think the value of his endorsement has diminished. It's better late than never though. I believe the reason why Bill Richardson did it at this time was to avoid being called a "Kingmaker". We all know he served in the Clinton administration and has a very solid relationship with them. What better to make a good friendship go sour than to deal the crushing blow of Hillary Clinton's dreams by sending her back to Chappaqua, NY as a U.S. Senator and no
"I'd kiss you, but these people and my wife would never understand..." Via WSJ: Quote: New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson finally made up his mind and endorsed Sen. Barack Obama today, but a senior adviser to Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign — which likewise spent months courting the former Democratic presidential candidate’s nod — dismissed its significance. “Look, I think that everyone has their endorsers,” said senior Clinton strategist Mark Penn, adding — with a little huff — “I think New Mexico is a state that, actually, we won.” “The time that he could have been effective has long since passed,” he continued. “I don’t think it is a significant endorsement in this environment.

~Snooper~Well, it looks like Gov Richardson is going for the VP slot for Barack. I find this curious. I also now further question his rationale. In light of the poll numbers spiraling into the cistern within the Abyss of Obscurity that Obama is fast approaching, why is it that this endorsement comes at this pivotal time? Simple. Gov Richardson is a bigot as well.He just made it official and Fox News carried it live. Will it distract from the Rezko - wright quagmire which reveals what a crook and bigot Barack is? Will it distract from the fact that Barack isn't even close to being fit to be President? There is some chatter going about at Hot Air and ABC Blog. It will be interesting where this all goes.More at memeorandum...

Parsing the Endorsement Of Obama by Richardson - The Wall Street Journal Democratic party effort to avert a prolonged and potentially damaging nomination fight between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton could be jumpstarted today by New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson's endorsement of Mr. Obama.Mr. Richardson plans to make the endorsement at a campaign rally with Mr. Obama today in Oregon and will call him a "once-in-a-lifetime leader that can bring our nation together and restore America's moral leadership in the world," the Associated Press reports. It is an important endorsement on at least three fronts. Mr. Richardson is an influential superdelegate for the party, whose declaration of support could draw the backing of other superdelegates needed to secure the nomination, since neither candid
Former contender for the Democratic Nomination and Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson has declared that he is endorsing Barack Obama for the nomination. Both Obama and Hillary Clinton have spent time courting Richardson's support, both for his public endorsement, but also as a superdelegate. This significance of this endorsement can't be underestimated.Richardson has called Obama a once in a lifetime leader who will be able to reunite America as well as providing for strong international leadership."As a presidential candidate, I know full well Senator Obama's unique moral ability to inspire the American people to confront our urgent challenges at home and abroad in a spirit of bipartisanship and reconciliation," Richardson said.Richardson has long been considered a possible running ma

With a no cost / no points loan or a no closing cost mortgage, the broker will pay all closing costs! You keep the $2000 - $3000 you would usually pay in closing costs as they are paid by the broker.
Okay, so I guess it's pretty obvious that I'm a Richness girl and I think it's about time that I got the design for the pillowcase that I designed for the Richness Raffle last November. But I am so not giving it away. I'm just putting it up on my blog, so that people would at least know that I designed it. Anyway, before designing this pillowcase, I absolutely had no experience working with any photo editing software at all. Seriously. We were just desperate for a design and well, it turns out that when we're desperate, I learn super fast and come up with a solution.Four months after the The Richness Raffle, my pillowcase design has finally reached Chris Richardson and he signed it "Sweet Dreams" even. When I found that out, I thought, "Oh, I'm definitely getting some sweet dreams.". Getti

The Democratic Freedom Caucus has endorsed Bill Richardson. Following is their statement:
The Democratic Freedom Caucus (DFC) endorses Democratic candidate Bill Richardson for president.
The DFC is a caucus in the Democratic Party, and promotes the values the Democratic Party was founded upon: individual liberty, constitutional democracy, and social responsibility.
As Democrats, we see that the Republican Party has strayed far from any respect for individual freedom, or any sense of realistic, practical policies, so we recommend voting in the general election for whichever Democratic candidate wins the primary, but we are convinced that New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson is the candidate who would best represent the Democratic Party in the presidential election.
Richardson's campaign platform connects with many of the basic principles of the DFC, whose policy views emphasize: promoting the public interest rather than special interests; introducing incentives and customer choice for
The Celtics and Knicks are two of the NBA’s proudest franchises. They both have great history but at this point they are going in opposite directions. Before their game on Thursday night, Knicks guard Quentin Richardson had some comments about the Celtics and the big 3 there.
It’s not that big a deal to us… it’s like the media makes more of the big three and all of them. We’re no in awe of them. They ain’t won no championships.
Last I heard Q-Rich, you don’t have any rings either. Kevin Garnett stated that his comments were extra motivation for the team and it certainly showed. The Celtics were all over the Knicks winning 104-59 marking one of the worst losses you will ever see. Oh, The Humanity! At one point the Celtics were up by 52 points.
It’s been said before but I will have to say it again. The Knicks are a joke and honestly I don’t what it will take to get them back on track. Before the year started, people consi

As it happens, Dennis Kucinich is not the biggest nut among the Democratic presidential candidates in the U.S. That prize goes to New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, as evidenced by his comments after the presidential debate at Drexel University last Tuesday, during which Kucinich had been asked about his UFO sighting by moderator Tim Russert:
“The godmother of your daughter, Shirley MacLaine, writes in her new book that you’ve sighted a UFO over her home in Washington state, that you found the encounter extremely moving, that it was a triangular craft silent and hovering, that you felt a connection to your heart and heard direction in your mind. Now, did you see a UFO?”
Kucinich replied: “I did.”
Kucinich did not elaborate much. He joked about moving his campaign headquarters to Roswell, N.M., the site of the country’s most famous alleged UFO crash.
Afterwards, it was Bill Richardson's turn:

Lee Iacocca has endorsed Bill Richardson in this statement on his blog:
From the beginning, my intention has been to get people actively involved in this election and get them thinking about the candidates for themselves. While that hasn’t changed, I’ve come to the conclusion that this race is too important for me not to publicly endorse the candidate I feel is best qualified for the job of President. And whether I’m examining their priorities, using my 9C’s Scorecard or simply listening to my gut, Bill Richardson is the one who always comes out on top.
Richardson’s been a successful Governor. He’s been a successful CEO. He’s demonstrated that he knows how to negotiate with foreign leaders and lead on issues like global warming. Unlike others on the stump, he’s offering bold plans, not just pandering talk. I like his job plan, his health care plan, his energy plan, his education plan and his plan to get us out of Iraq. I also just plain like
It's something that's often heard by second-tier candidates and their followers. "If only we could get our message out, people would be flocking to us". Fair enough. In an effort to help get one man's message out, we took a look at New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. What is Richarson's message? What can we do to help disseminate it?We looked at dozens of Bill Richardson fund-raising letters and articles and tried to boil down what it was that made Richardson different from the others in the Democrat field. What we came up with was: UFOs, drugs and Iraq and roll. The Bill Richardson Fascination with UFOsThere's no denying it: this is one issue that Governor Richardson has completely to himself. There is no one else trying to crowd him on the UFO political spectrum, either from the Left or the Right. While he does strike a chord with a certain crowd of Americans here, is this really a Presidential issue? Richardson's camp certainly thinks it is. And it garnered him some coverage t
While the campaign for the Democratic nomination increasingly looks like a two person contest, other candidates are still seeking support and the possibility of a dark horse upset victory cannot be excluded. Bill Richardson continues to show signs of life in the early states. His campaign has announced a New Hampshire endorsement which might be of some benefit in the primary:
The Richardson for President campaign today announced a crucial endorsement from Portsmouth Mayor Steve Marchand, one of New Hampshire’s brightest and most talented young leaders.
Steve Marchand, 33, was elected mayor of Portsmouth in 2005 with over 67 percent of the vote. He has been praised for his successful stewardship of green energy initiatives as well as his fiscal leadership in introducing transparency and accountability to the city budget. The Portsmouth Herald wrote of Marchand, “the guy has guts, energy and ambition.” He previously was named New Hampshire’s political “Risin
This weekend, the news was that Presidential candidate Bill Richardson was demanding answers about the Roswell incident of decades past. Now a judge wants information released about an incident that happened outside of Pittsburgh. First, the lowdown on Richardson from Weasel Zippers:ROUND ROCK, Texas — If he wins his bid for the White House, Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson may be just the man to get to the bottom of the 60-year-old Roswell UFO mystery.Answering questions at a townhall meeting Friday, a Dell employee asked Richardson about the 1947 incident in which many people still believe a flying saucer landed near the eastern New Mexico town."I've been in government a long time, I've been in the cabinet, I've been in the Congress and I've always felt that the government doesn't tell the truth as much as it should on a lot of issues," said Richardson, who is governor of New Mexico."When I was in Congress I said (to the) Department of Defense ... More than any presidential candidate, Bill Richardson is running on his plan for Iraq. His is the most detailed, the most well supported, and the most hyped. Quite frankly, when compared to every candidate besides Joe Biden, Richardson’s plan comes off as the most concrete and therefore the most compelling. Richardson avoids the overly vague promises and empty rhetoric of other candidates. While his plan is refreshing, is it a progressive plan?
As outlined here, a progressive plan for Iraq adheres to these four assertions:
The Iraq War was a mistake.
Our presence in Iraq is making things worse, not better.
Iraq is a political problem, and it requires a political solution.
Our goal in Iraq should not be to “win,” but to leave responsibly.
By reading any policy proposal through this lens, one can conclude that it represents a progressive worldview. Bill Richardson’s plan largely satisfies the progressive test. However, like the presidential plans from Joe Biden and Bara
It appears that my views of the candidates are shared by a majority when Zogby conducted a poll on acceptance of each candidate. People were asked which candidate they would definitely not vote for. Bill Richardson did best in terms of least number saying they would not vote for him, followed by Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Chris Dodd. (Richardson, Obama, and Dodd are the three candidates I’ve been most interested in.) Clinton has the most negatives on this list, which does differ from my ranking. I started out following the campaign with an “anybody but Clinton” attitude which has been replaced by “anybody but Edwards, but preferably not Clinton.”
On the Republican side, not surprisingly Ron Paul is the least acceptable. Mike Huckabee is most acceptable, leaving both parties with long shots as most acceptable candidate.

Kieron Richardson was born in Eccles, Salford, England and rose to fame playing bad boy Ste Hay in UK Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. After appearing briefly in the late night version Hollyoaks: In the City, Richardson was offered the role of Ste Hay in the early evening Hollyoaks where he appeared for 19 episodes. He exited the show after a stealing a car, which resulted in a spectacular crash and his character getting sent to prison. He returned to Hollyoaks on the 25th September 2007. Richardson then went on to make a guest appearance in UK serial-soap Heartbeat. He entered acting at the age of 18, and was originally touted for a role on Coronation Street by a screenwriter who attended the same acting class. The same screenwriter ultimately left Coronation Street, but contacts put Richardson in touch with the management at Nigel Martin-Smith.

The BMI is the person's weight in kilogrammes divided by the square of their height metres.
So in many ways you could say, "Nip/Tuck star Joely Richardson was at black tie event looking 'worryingly tall'."
In fact here's the whole news piece, rewritten:

Bill Richardson showed lots of promise earlier in the campaign but a series of gaffes has prevented his campaign from gaining any traction. This week Richardson angered voters in the great lakes region by suggesting that the water be diverted to the southwest:
Michigan environmental activists Thursday accused New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson of suggesting that northern states — including the Great Lakes region — share water with the Sun Belt.
“Richardson’s assault is the latest in a lengthy list of schemes to siphon Great Lakes water to other areas of the nation and the world,'’ said five groups, including the Michigan Environmental Council and the state chapter of the Sierra Club, in a written statement.
A spokesman for Richardson, a Democratic presidential hopeful, said if elected he would “embrace a national water policy that will specifically help protect the authority of states and the rights of local communities throughout the country.'’
As Joely Richardson stepped on the red carpet in a daring backless gown, there was not doubt her intention was to dazzle guests with a glamorous look.Instead, the crowd stared in shock at the sight of her exposed ribcage, sunken face and frighteningly thin arms. The star of US television programme Nip/Tuck has lost a dramatic amount of weight in recent times, and her appearance at a Cartier party in London's Natural History Museum last night has reignited concern for her health. Joely's shrinking frame has been attributed by some to the strain of filming in America while her 15-year-old daughter Daisy, who has a rare circulatory condition, remains in Britain. She quit the popular series last year to care for the teenager, however she decided to return for 15 of the 22 episodes of the latest season.Joely's tiny physique was in stark contrast to Rod Stewart's buxom wife Penny Lancaster, who showed off her knock-out curves in a figure hugging black dress.Prince and Princess Michael of K
Bill Richardson was the first candidate to release information on third quarter fund raising. His campaign raised about $5.2 million for the quarter and over $18 million for the year. This still leaves him behind Clinton and Obama, but keeps him in the same range as Edwards and well ahead of the remainder of the candidates.
With Edwards seriously crippling his chances with his desperation decision to accept public financing, along with the restrictions on spending, this solidifies Richardson as the number three candidate in the race. Richardson spokesman Tom Reynolds said that Richardson would be “very hesitant” to accept such limitations which would give the Republicans a tremendous advantage.
CQ Politics reports that Obama and Clinton have raised similar amounts during the third quarter. Obama’s campaign estimates they raised between $18 million and $19 million dollars. Clinton’s campaign estimates they raised between $17 million and $20 million dollars for
From an essay at Huffington Post by Bill Richardson:
Two days ago the Senate had a chance to help get more of our soldiers home for longer periods of time — but the measure failed. Yesterday they had a chance to set a timeline to start withdrawing troops — but that failed too. And today, another measure that would’ve required a withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq failed. Three chances to make a difference, lost. But instead of continuing to push on the most important issue facing our country right now, yesterday Congress spent their time debating and condemning a newspaper ad by an anti-war group.
Let’s get some perspective here — ads don’t kill people — wars kill people. And it is long past time to end this war.
Fuente: http://bumpshack.com/2007/09/06/joely-richardson-returning-to-niptuck/

OSCEOLA, Iowa - Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Richardson said Tuesday that his comment about it being God’s will that Iowa votes first was off-the-cuff as he defended the state’s primacy in the nomination process.
Campaigning in south-central Iowa, the New Mexico governor faced questions about his comment Monday in which [...]
"Iowa, for good reason, for constitutional reasons, for reasons related to the Lord should be the first caucus and primary." So sayeth Bill Richardson, who is apparently reading a different Constitution, and a different Bible, than I have readily at hand. Doesn't seem to me (an atheist) that God has anything to do with Iowa coming first.Iowa Democrats at a union-sponsored event in Sioux City were decidedly confused and put-off by this remark from Governor Richardson. The most positive response from prospective voters was "Richardson has the saving grace of not taking himself too seriously. It was one of those off the cuff remarks that can't be taken as seriously as the punsters will make it." But even if he was making a joke, why would he make a joke at the expense of Iowa in Iowa?A misstep, no matter how you look at it, and one that seems to have left would-be supporters feeling negative about him.
I’ve criticized Fox News so many times here that I feel, in the spirt of being fair and balanced, I should defend them after seeing a liberal blog attack them in a rare case where Fox is right. Newshounds criticizes the Political Derby segment (video above) because their assessment of the horse race differs from the national polls. Newshounds particularly protests that Bill Richardson and not John Edwards is placed in fourth place despite Edwards being third in the national polls, and that Mitt Romney is placed first in the GOP race despite ranking between third and fifth in most national polls.
During the segment, Jason Wright explains that he looks at factors beyond the national polls. This is a perfectly sensible thing to do. National polls this far before the primaries begin have had very little predictive value historically unless there was a clear and undisputed favorite such as an incumbent. During the fall of 2003, John Kerry even trailed Al Sharpton in some national p
James Boyce gives his views on the State of the Race at Huffington Post and I agree with much of what he says. While I do not think that a Clinton victory is inevitable, you’d have to give me pretty good odds to put money on any outcome other than Hillary Clinton winning the nomination and being sworn in as our next president in January 2009.
Any candidate can stumble, and choosing the candidate who might come from behind to win is still relevant at this point. Boyce has noticed, as I’ve frequently written here, that Edwards’ campaign is failing. In my view this is due to having a poor candidate who would have little chance regardless of the quality of the campaign staff. Boyce and I agree that the candidate with the momentum right now is Bill Richardson:
The state poll most recently out of Iowa shows me three things.
I like John Edwards personally and politically, but there is something missing this time around. He is rolling the dice on Iowa and as more and more peo
Today’s Democratic debate helps demonstrate that Obama might have made the right decision in limiting debate appearances. This debate will not make a difference in the race but there were a couple of answers I found interesting. Previously Bill Richardson’s campaign has been hampered by poor showings in the debate. I doubt that enough people watched today’s debate for it to matter, but if anyone can be declared the winner it would be Richardson.
There was more of the attempts to attack Obama for being inexperienced. Bill Richardson turned this discussion to his advantage:
You know, I think that Senator Obama does represent change. Senator Clinton has experience. Change and experience: With me, you get both.
And you know, my point — and, here, we’re going to need change to become energy independent. We’re going to need experience to deal with foreign leaders, as I have. You know, it’s interesting. You talk about the dispute between the two s

Add Politcal Insider as the latest site to recognize that if we look at the big picture, as opposed to national polls, Bill Richardson is becoming the number three candidate in the race. I certainly wouldn’t write off John Edwards any more than I wrote off John Kerry when he trailed Al Sharpton in the national polls in 2003, but at the moment Edwards’s prospects are looking quite poor. Political Insider writes:
Gov. Bill Richardson is on the move in the leadoff primary and caucus states, and if the trend continues, he will soon supplant John Edwards as the number three candidate in the Democratic race. While the RCP Average has Richardson at just 3.7% nationally, and Edwards at 11.4%, Richardson is rising in Iowa (11.0%), New Hampshire (9.3%), and Nevada (6.0%). In New Hampshire he is just three points behind Edwards, and actually pulled ahead of him in a July CNN poll.
Richardson is gaining because of basic retail politics. The man who holds the Guinness Book world record
Well, Beth was working this morning, so I was left to my own devices. After taking the recycling to the local recycling center, I popped into Shirley's Restaurant in Claremont for a Bill Richardson "Meet and Greet", which I knew from the local paper was scheduled for this morning. The owner of the restaurant, Dan Fillo, was quoted in the paper as having said, "We've been told by the campaign not to expect a question and answer format. He's probably just going to come in and speak, giving a brief 10- or 15-minute speech about his platforms."So I was quite pleasantly surprised when after giving his talk, Richardson did open the floor to questions. In my last blog post, I mentioned that Beth got in the last question from the floor at our session with John McCain. I didn't say anything about what she asked him, however. So here I'll mention that she asked him about Darfur. We were both bothered that it took until she got in (right under the wire) for Darfur to be mentioned. McCain did
Richardson has signed a 4 year deal with Sunderland. The fee has not been disclosed.I'm sure many fans would be rejoicing, since Richardson really isn't very much of a fan favourite. For some reason he cannot stop himself from whining and generally making a dick of himself whenever he wears a United jersey. His behavior was very much mimicked by Ronaldo when he first joined the club.I can, however, offer this, off the pitch during interviews, he seems like a genuinely nice guy. He says all the right words, and quite frankly doesn't sound like the dick that was on the pitch. In any case, I hope he has a good career under Keano. The official reports:TimesManUtd.com
The United States is in a dire position in the world right now. The presidency of George W. Bush has left us damaged on a global scale. We're stuck in a war in Iraq with no good options on how to get out, Al-Qaeda is stronger than ever, our popularity in the world has plummeted, our allies have almost all but deserted us, energy prices are soaring, global warming is becoming a major issue, and access to healthcare is a severe problem in our nation, left almost ignored by our government. We need proven leadership from somebody with the experience and resume to back it up. If you ask me there are two general issues I feel the next President will have to address. Two issues I feel President Bush has most failed on. Those issues are Foreign Policy and Energy Policy. When examining the excellent field of candidates the Democratic Party has, I find that New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has an impressive resume when it comes to both and has proven in his five years as Governor of the state
