The Golden Retriever dog was first used and developed in England. The dog was used to retrieve birds. This was in fact how the dog received the name Golden Retriever. Golden Retriever dogs are great for hunting, but that is not all. They are also great family pets. The majority of Golden Retrievers are great with individuals of all ages, but that is not the only reason why they are a popular family pet. Golden Retrievers are known as being a simple dog that does not require a lot of work. The coat of a Golden Retriever rarely requires any extravagant care. There are some dogs that require regular pet visits to the pet groomer. The same is not to be said for Golden Retrievers. The majority of Golden Retrievers require an occasional bath and a simple coat brushing. In fact keeping a Golden Retriever presentable is so easy that even a child can complete the task. As with any other type of dog a Golden Retriever can be purchased as a puppy or an adult dog. Purchasing a puppy can be difficult
Most breeds of dog yearn to belong to a group and need to interact with their own species to stay secure. However, through breeding, Golden Retrievers are geared more towards people. Most people associate Golden Retrievers as guide dogs, but they are also suitable for younger children, and as assistants as hunting dogs. They need to associate with people frequently to satisfy their instincts brought about by their breeding.
They will forgive you many mistakes and will follow you relentlessly just waiting to be acknowledged and petted. The fact that they were the first three dogs to obtain the Obedience Trial Championships is further proof that Golden Retrievers intend to please. It is very important that you include your Golden Retriever in any family activity as they are so people oriented and need to live with their owners. It is rare for them to bark, but if they do it may be because they are bored.
A Golden Retriever will enjoy many activities such as hunting, hiking, ball games an

This device is dragged through the muck and slime of water hazards to retrieve golf balls.
“The Roller” can pick up 2000 balls in one pass.
It basically eliminates the use of divers to clean out the golf course hazards. Dirty Jobs featured a couple of guys that did this. They really wouldn’t dive as much as they would go out and feel around the mud with their feet and get the balls. Of course, they had to deal with all of the creatures that live there too (snakes, alligators, insects, leeches) . Then they would clean and resell their finds.
This device still has to be cleaned out by someone.. and that is still probably a pretty nasty task.
