Let’s face it, the vast majority of us would like to retire early yet paradoxically, few of us do anything to facilitate that and just assume that things will “work out” in the end. Life isn’t like that of course, and if you want to retire early you need to plan for that. For most people this means cutting back a little on spending on short term things so that there’s that little bit more to put away for that early retirement. Naturally, the earlier you start doing this, the better but whenever you decide to do it, you need a plan. The third Illinois Republican House member to announce his retirement this year.Weller's district is very competitive and was held by a Democrat, George Sangmeister, for for six years before he won in 1994.Bush won 53% in the district, but Obama won it in a landslide and last year, Governor Rod Blagojevich won the district narrowly despite loosing it four years earlier.Weller won reelection last year by only 10%.
