An extra cool new feature that Windows Vista brought on board is the ability to resize your hard disk partitions on the fly. This comes handy if you are running short of disk space in one of your partitions and can’t just move files away to other partitions.
Important Note: I highly recommend that you make a FULL backup of the partition you are going to resize before implementing this tweak. You can use a portable 80 GB hard drive to backup the files.
So here’s how you do it:
Click the Windows Start button
Right click Computer
Click Manage
Expand Storage
Click Disk Management
In the right hand side pane, highlight the partition you would like to resize

You can achieve this easily if you have the Visual editor activated(go to Users > Your profile from your Wordpress admin section) since when clicking the image insertion button, you are asked various key information.
