My personal review:This is just another average game for the PSP and which will only be enjoyed by those who love this kind of games, the FPS. I personally found it difficult to enjoy this game from the beginning but at some time, I started to enjoy it a little bit more. I wanted to share some pictures from NCIS‘ episode “Requiem” which airs tonight at 8pm on CBS. We were able to get a screener from the episode and all I can say is that it’s one of the best episodes I have seen from NCIS. And the opening scene, man it was good. The last 2 days have been a roaring success for Trendwhore, we were mentioned in Spin, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and Pitchfork. ABC emailed for permission to use our video footage on a program called “What’s The Buzz”, how cool is that? Well, now that the hype is over, its back to doing what we do best, poorly written reviews and shaky footage. Today I have coverage from the Spoon show at Le National last night. They were great, but I believe in my heart of hearts the show could have been better. JoBlo brings us this new poster for AvP, and it’s with much chagrin that I have to admit that I kind of like it. After the first AvP turned out to be such a massive disappointment I promised to myself that I wouldn’t care about the sequel. And I still don’t, not really. But the image of earth with an Alien and a Predator gripping it did manage to get through to me and to remind me of why I was excited about the first film. I think it’s a great image, and certainly is something that can be used to build the campaign upon. That said, the poster has too much open space. You have the main image at the top, and then the title and credits at the bottom, but nothing in between. I think this compromises the general look of the poster. I also note that they decided to use the abbreviated title on the poster. Understandable, since Alien Vs. predator: Requiem is such a long title. But I’m still not sure I like it. AVPR isn’t exactly memorable.

This trailer looks absolutely badass and is everything that the original should have been. Enough people die in the trailer alone to show that this movie is a total bloodbath. For those of us hoping that AVP2 is better than AVP1, our prayers seem to have been answered. Then we received the news that a sequel was going to be made and the childhood horror fan in me died a little more. But when news arrived that Paul ‘Fuck it Up’ Anderson’s leper adaptation mitts were to be kept away from the second meeting of the acid and the infra-red, a tiny glimmer of hope emerged in the depths of my movie-loving heart. Wow, this is going to be it right here, this Re-Do movie was of the up most necessity after they dropped that atrociousnesses that nobody enjoyed a few years ago. As a young lad growing up, both the Aliens and the Predator franchises held a special place in my heart, especially after seeing the aliens skull in the predator 2 flick, I just knew they had to do a follow up. So they did, and suckiness is an understatement. You can’t have an action movie without well… Dope action in it, duh. The scenes weren’t well thought up, there was no creativity, not to mention the character development was horrible. But I suppose they figured, “What do we need character development if everyones going to die?” Expect for the token sista of course. And on top of all those mistakes, they toned it completely down for the kiddies, not a good look.
