Last night I watched a new episode (my first) of "Xavier: Renegade Angel" on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. A bigfoot with reverse knees, a snake arm, a beak nose, and two different-colored eyes goes around saying nonsense not unlike certain "wise men" as featured in such films as "Mystery Men." Eventually Xavier meets a rich brat not unlike the one in "The Toy," starring Richard Pryor. The rich child says certain oddball things like how pain is a myth invented by lazy workers, and how hardships are bogus, and blah blah blah. So Xavier wishes to educate the kid, and he gives him his own personal vision quest. The kid's consciousness immediately shifts from reality to some alternate reality, where he meets a Native American. The kid is pretty brash, and opposed to learning a lesson. I doubt anyone has seen the latest show on Adult Swim, Xavier: Renegade Angel, and I hope for everyone's sake no one else ever happens to see it. Adult Swim usually has quality shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, Home Movies, Metalocalypse, The Boondocks, Moral Orel, Frisky Dingo, Lucy the Daughter of the Devil, Robot Chicken and Saul of the Molemen. Renegade Kid (the developers behind the M-rated Nintendo DS hit Dementium: The Ward . . . well let’s all hope it’s a hit!), which came out yesterday on Halloween in North America, has announced just a day later that their next game, right now called “Project M”, will be published not by Gamec0ck Media Group like their last game, but by publisher Mastiff. Not a lot of details are known about “Project M”, including why it’s named exactly that, but what is known is that it will use the same 3D engine as Dementium, it IS coming to the Nintendo DS, and it will most likely be another M-rated game for the platform. For the first time ever, an actual site has outranked a Wikipedia page. The Hells Angels site has outranked the Wikipedia definition by the same name in Google leading me to wonder: Does crime pay in Google SERPs? But really though, who knew that this international motorcycle organization was so web savvy. But one thing that I wondered about: all images and logos are apparently protected by copyright and international law. But isn’t the Hells Angels all about F*** the man and living life on the edge? But their is a lot of swearing on the site, so I guess that makes up for it. They have a little guestbook where people can leave comments with their email address listed. So it’s like an email list of Hells Angels supporters. Now, I don’t know about your city, but apparently this motorcycle club is some kind of problem for police. I hope that the police don’t have internet access.

            Over the last several weeks, I’ve been working on rewriting our by-laws, and it’s been quite the task.  With all the talk recently, about how easy it is in our style of government, for the leader to take over, I thought the by-laws should be written in such a way to prevent that.  My thought has been if the Lord ever moves me on, or something should happen to me, I want the body protected against abuse.  That sure sounds nice and it is a great thought, the only problem is, I started to notice, that my stop the renegade plan, was turning into a potential, stop the Holy Spirit plan.  I realize that if you have the wrong man in place, he can, and probably will, work his way around, pretty much anything you put in place.  The right man in place, the one God has called, and given vision to, shouldn’t have to buck and fight, to get anything accomplished for the kingdom.  I spent seven and a half years in the Navy, and I feel like I’ve already played that
