I rent Filipino dvd movies online but then our dvd player can't play them. Well, I think our dvd is too old to be able to play them. So, we habe got to get a new one soon. Eiji Aonuma had said the words '3D', 'I would like' and 'a link to the past' in the same sentence - so now ERRRRBODY saying that he's gonna remake it. I can see this being like the whole Square Enix remaking Final Fantasy VII situation. Something fans will want so much they'll constantly hope and wish it will happen when it in fact it probably won't.Despite Ocarina of time being toted as THE best Zelda game of all time, I personally think that title is best left to A link to the past. Ocarina of time was as close to being a 3D version of A link to the past as you could get without it actually being remade. A link to the past being recreated using Twilight princess's engine and controls would be pretty sweet. But part of me would rather Nintendo put their efforts into making a brand new Zelda game as opposed to remaking an old one that in all honesty doesn't need to be remade. Earlier this year Universal Pictures green lighted a remake of Creature From The Black Lagoon. A short while later Guillermo del Toro was confirmed as the director, giving hope for a quality remake.Now Guillermo del Toro is officially out as the director of the Creature remake. That's unfortunate because del Toro has yet to create anything that stinks, spending as much time between projects writing and storyboarding until he feels it is ready.The new director for Creature is Breck Eisner, who's biggest claim to fame so far (besides being the son of Michael Eisner) is directing the Matthew McConaughey film, Sahara. Remember Ys I and II which was very popular in the 80’s, it seems as if the game is to have a makeover and what games system will the remake be coming too? Only the hottest selling handheld the Nintendo DS. Over the years this RPG has become very popular and has seen many sequels on a number of games consoles. The Ys I and Ys II Nintendo DS remake will get some new features, including new character animations such as being able to swing a sword instead of the old way of just bumping in to your enemies. You will also have new enemies to fight with along with some new maps. As it is the Nintendo DS Ys I and II will be able to utilize both screens, the top will display the game field while the bottom will show the player stats. 1 UP does say that the Ys I and Ys II will be released as separate games and will cost about $44 each, both games are hoped to be released sometime in the Spring 2008 in Japan, we are not sure when the games will be released in other countries. The Chucky films terrified children all over the world, even with the poor animatronics. The first film was good, but many people lost interest in the series before The Seed of Chucky even started production. So would a remake be a good move? Well, producer David Kirschner revealed at the Martian Child junket that they were working on an all-out remake of the first Chucky movie, Child’s play. The film is yet to be given the green light and is only just being written now. But, Kirschner has promised the film will be more terrifying than the previous movies. There is currently no director attached. If the remake does get made, it will be interesting to see whether they use animatronics or CG. If they use a mix of the two, I think the film has promise. It will take a lot for Chucky to regain it’s title as a horror, not comedy, movie, so as long as they have the right script and director, this could be a successful remake. Yes, it was cheesy, yes, it had Jean-Claude Van Damme but you can’t say it wasn’t good! The movie grossed $100 million worldwide and was Van-Damme’s highest grossing film of all time.
