Apple has just updated Tiger and Leopard with a new Security Patch for 2007-009. The update fixes the following: Core Foundation, CUPS, Flash Player Plug-in, Launch Services, perl, python, Quick Look, ruby, Safari, Samba, Shockwave Plug-in, Spin Tracer.
The update comes in a 35.4 MB file, and requires a power supply and restart.

Electronic Arts Games today launched its direct Crysis Demo download that clocks in at 1.77GB (you can get it at Nvidia too). Also at Nvidia is a handy PC test to see if you can run Crysis in the first place. So three cheers for yourself if you’re a high-end PC owner who can run it with all the graphic prowess turned on.
The single-player demo of Crysis includes the complete first level of the game, which is about 45 minutes of gameplay.
Crysis has a worldwide PC release date on November 16th, 2007.

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller has been available in Standard White since the console’s launch in 2005, it was joined by the Black colored controller earlier this year and the Army Green Halo 3 controllers last month. But today the Pink color and Blue color have been released for a price of $49.99.
The official word from Microsoft says that these new colored controllers are “using optimized technology, so you can enjoy a 30-foot range and up to 40 hours of life on the two included AA batteries,” although I’m sure they are the same. Regardless, the Play & Charge Kit is advised for uninterrupted play. A more fitting announcement might have been, “It’s a boy and a girl! But they are both exactly the same as the other kids.”

In Other News - Paris Hilton: Released today!Paris has completed her 23-day jail stay of her original 45-day sentence. She was released at 3:16AM ET/PT from Century Regional Detention Facility. I'm happy she's out, I felt bad for her. But now she has learned her lesson, and hopefully won't make the same mistake. Paris will be under probation until March 2009.
