Regina Spektor, llamada también la princesa Rusa, nació el 19 de febrero de 1980 en Moscú.Es cantante y pianista, y reside en Estados Unidos desde los 9 años, cuando en Rusia, en 1989, durante la Perestroika, se le permitió a los Judíos que emigraran.Regina viene de una familia totalmente musical, ya que el padre fué violinista, y su madre profesora de música en Rusia (actualmente enseñando en una escuela de Nueva York).
