My willing suspension of disbelief isn't kicking in here. First, and foremost, Reed is talking to Doctor Octopus. When has Doc Ock been afraid of anyone? The man has tangled with everyone this side of Galactus!The other problem I have is that it's Reed talking to Doctor Octopus. C'mon, Reed, who are you kidding? You're a science geek with premature gray. What are you going to do, hit him with your pocket protector?Shenanigans, I say!
I think Reed could come up with less-revealing code names for battle plans. Is there any way an enemy couldn't figure out what plan "T for 'Taunt'" consists of?And why does that strategy even need its own name, anyway? Ben! Execute plan "P for 'Punch Him in the Face!'" Are they not allowed to do anything unless Reed has given it hours of thought beforehand?
I'm not saying your knowledge is limted to test tubes, Reed, but there are laws against such things. The Mole Man had assault with a weapon, attempted mayhem, conspiracy to overthrow the government.... And a person can not be arrested for illegal parking. Science types just assume they know everything about everything.
