As today's game between the Redskins and Giants begins, here are some keys to the game brought to you by Q, Big Money Tony, & The Sports Freak. • Win the line of scrimmage despite injuries along the front line....
This is probably the biggest advantadge that the Giants have in this upcoming game. We’ll all heard about the exploits of the Giants offensive line. They are getting more face time recently than Eli Manning. Is anyone else shocked by this? I mean, they are the best O-Line that I have ever seen, but still!

Can Monday Night Football predict the next president? After a strange Sunday of games (Bengals over Jaguars, really??), the Redskins face the Steelers at Fedex Field this evening. Last weeks performance will not be enough to beat Pittsburgh. Detroit is a sorrier team than the Steelers. However, some...
The Redskins are having a good season so far. They are at 6-2 and second in the competitive NFC East Division. Since this division includes the defending Super Bowl champions New York Giants, as well as the ever-strong Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, second place is not too shabby. There is no one in [...]

Well those of us who purchased Laurel real estate are a little disappointed this morning. The Washington Redskins, after winning two tough games on the road, lost yesterday at FedEx Field. The Redskins lost to a team, the St. Louis Rams, who had not won a game all season.

How about those Washington Redskins? They make anyone buying Laurel real estate very happy. I think the judgement is in.....the Redskins are a good team. When I purchased my first Laurel real estate over ten years ago, I had no idea if my neighbors shared my passion for the Washington Redskins football team. I use to live in Montgomery County Md and that was Redskin country. When I moved to Laurel Md, I knew I was a little bit closer to Baltimore Md, the home of the NFL Baltimore Ravens. In fact, I was now only thirty minutes from
The Washington Redskins cold punished the Dallas Cowgirls in a 26-24 victory. This was the last meeting of these two mortal enemies in the historic Texas Stadium. The Redskins offense controlled the contest with an effective run/pass mix, and the defense was stout against the run, making Dallas completely one dimensional. If you ask around for the most promising team this coming 2008 NFL football season, you will probably hear a lot about the Redskins.Even more when you get to see Colt Brennan playing the way he did the first exhibition game for Washington when they beat the Colts 30-16, though Brennan will have to fight the starting QB position with the already experienced Jason Campbell. Most critics are giving th

This weekend brought a lot of action to sports fans. For those weird guys who actually like gossip and scandals, there was plenty to talk about these days: not only because of the infamous Mitchell Report listing several big names at the MLB, but also NFL had some paparazzi moments. So, this was a complete weekend: surprising gossip and surprising NFL scores.Â
The Eagles-Cowboys game had some unexpected results: it wasn't really a good and exciting game (it threw some poor scores), but nobody expected Philadelphia to beat the Cowboys at home. The game looked kinda dull, although Brian Westbrook did a great job running against the clock to secure Philly's victory. Dallas, on the other side, showed a really deficient performance, with just 240 yards, the fewest of the entire NFL season, and that game costed them the end of their winning streak. Everything finished with just a 10-6 result.Â
During that game it was out that the famous pop singer Jessica Simpson was there showing some
Thursday night will be the time when the Washington Redskins prove they’re ready to move on and give their best. Sean Taylor’s death was really hard on them (and it was obvious that it would affect them during last Sunday’s game), not only because they lost a friend, but because he was actually a good player and gave a lot to the team. Will they be ready to play against the Chicago Bears tonight?
If you look at the circumstances in a cold, harsh way, you will see that losing Sean Taylor can be considered a great distraction for the team when they go out and play. Taylor’s Memorial Service was just a few days ago, and the shock is barely starting to fade away. This is something they’re going to have in mind for a while, and it could affect their performance when they face the Bears.
Right now none of those teams could be considered as a smashing winner. The NFL Standings place them at the bottom of their Division (like the Bears) or just about to drop there (Redskins).
Redskins play only 10 men on defense leaving Sean Taylor’s spot open. R.I.P. Sean Taylor. Please subscribe and add as friend because we do take every little thing to consideration.

Miami-Dade police have launched a wide-ranging homicide investigation into the death of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor, who died at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami early yesterday morning after being shot in the upper thigh while confronting intruders in his home.Police said they were trying to determine whether a burglary at Taylor's house just over a week ago was related to what they described as a possible home invasion Monday, and whether Taylor was targeted by the shooter or was a random target."We're going to look at everything," Miami-Dade police spokesman Robert Williams said.Taylor, 24, died at 3:30 a.m. after undergoing seven hours of surgery Monday. He underwent an autopsy late yesterday afternoon, according to a spokesman in the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department who declined to release further information.Taylor's death left the Redskins and, it seemed, the entire Washington region reeling and heartsick. Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died early Tuesday, a day after the Pro Bowl player was shot at home allegedly by an intruder.
Taylor died at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he had been airlifted after the shooting on Monday.
Taylor, the fifth overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft following an All-American season at the University of Miami, was shot in the upper leg, damaging the key femoral artery and causing significant blood loss.
“According to a preliminary investigation, it appears that the victim was shot inside the home by an intruder,” Miami-Dade County police said in a statement. “We do not have a subject description at this time.”
Taylor’s girlfriend told Police the couple was awakened by loud noises, and Taylor grabbed a machete he keeps in the bedroom for protection.
Someone then broke through the bedroom door and fired two shots, one missing and one hitting Taylor, Sharpstein said. Taylor’s 1-year-old daughter, Jackie, was also in
Yesterday we were all hit by the news of NFL safety Sean Taylor being shot at his home. After many hours of complicated emergency surgery and all of us being in shock by the situation, Tuesday morning comes with the confirmation that Sean Taylor just passed away.
The situation turned into a real tragedy when one of the bullets shot by the intruder reached Taylor’s femoral artery, causing him to lose too much blood. Surgery could not repair the entire damage, but there were some hope of him giving good signs of surviving. However, it was confirmed that Sean Taylor died around 5 in the morning at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Of course this was a major shock at the NFL. All players (especially the Washington Redskins team) are filled with grief. Even people like RB Clinton Portis feel sorry because Sean Taylor was at home on Monday because of a knee injury that kept him out of the field. If he hadn’t been injured, he would’ve probably been playing with the Redskins. But we ha

Richard Sharpstein, who has represented Sean Taylor in legal matters in the past and is a friend of the family, said moments ago that the player’s life is hanging in the balance in the hospital. Sharpstein, speaking from the hospital, said Taylor is “nonresponsive and unconscious” and the doctors are “worried about a possible brain injury or death.” Sharpstein, who has been with Taylor’s family at the hospital much of the day, said that there are major worries that Taylor may have lost oxygen to the brain, and that no other procedures are planned for right now. “They’re waiting to see if he comes to,” Sharpstein said. He was shot in the groin/thigh area near the femoral artery and lost copious amounts of blood. The intruders then retreated and Sean was airlifted to the trauma center and endured several hours of surgery, Sharpstein said. Reported by Jason La Confora, Washington Post

Even if you are not a Washington Redskins fan, these news are probably going to shock you: Redskins Safety Sean Taylor has been found at home (in Miami) shot by some intruder and now his future lies between life and death.
Authorities say the tragic situation seems to be caused by a robbery attempt. Taylor was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he fights for his life. We are all hoping he gets better, because it would be a great loss to the NFL.
Don’t know who Sean Taylor is?
For those who have been living under a rock lately and have no idea of who Taylor is, there is a couple of highlights of his NFL career and, of course, his controversy (he wouldn’t belong to the NFL if he didn’t have something to do with cops at least once):
- Sean Taylor was born in 1983 in Miami, FL (the same city of his College team). He was picked 5th by the Washington Redskins, where he plays since 2004. He has been a really successful player most Seasons.

The NFL Cheerleader blog could be one of my new favorite sites. Little did I know that some of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders were actually people and not just sexual favors for all the fat dudes eating hot dogs sitting next to other fat dudes eating hot dogs. Hmm. What a world.
Take Jessica Pikulski here. Or as her teammates so wittingly nicknamed her “Jessica P.” Jessica is a school teacher donning the Red and Gold. I’m sure the Cora Kelly Elementary department is pumped. She is 40 years old though. That’s pretty badass.
That’s Jessica again. Score one for the Redskins. If I had a MILF on my cheerleading squad I’d milk it for as long as I could.

Cornerback Charles Woodson scooped up the ball — and lifted the spirits of the Green Bay Packers’ suddenly sagging offense.
Woodson’s 57-yard fumble return in the third quarter gave the Packers the go-ahead touchdown in a 17-14 victory over the Washington Redskins at soggy Lambeau Field on Sunday.
“It was a big play today,” Woodson said.
However, Brett Favre captured the record in the most interceptions thrown in the history of the NFL.
Redskins RB Clinton Portis, hopes to play after mildly bruising and spraining his MCL. Portis took part in light workouts Wednesday, but HC Joe Gibbs expects him to play Sunday. “I think Clinton will be fine,” he said. Gibbs was a little more reserved with WR Santana Moss, who is trying to recover from a nagging groin injury. “It’ll kind of be up to him as to what point he’d be ready to practice and stuff,” Gibbs said. “It’ll just be whenever he feels good.” Moss, who jogged briefly yesterday, said he won’t know how he feels until he’s able to do something “football-related”. Monday Night Football brought some surprise for many of the NFL Football fans watching (and especially the ones who were betting favorites). While almost everyone thought the Eagles were going to win so easily, the Washington Redskins turned it upside down and ended up with a 20-12 victory.
We are talking about a very impressive result, especially considering that Philadelphia had home field advantage last night. Redskins QB Jason Campbell performed a great TD pass to Chris Cooley, one that will definitely be remembered. Another good thing, it seems that Campbell is aware of what he did wrong during the game and it could make us expect harder work, and better games.
We could also notice how linebacker London Fletcher (who had 6 tackles) has come to make Washington’s defense stronger. This guy seems to have the rest of the guys pumped up and inspired. It was a wise choice to bring him from Buffalo. It’s obvious that the Redskins have worked a lot on third down and the Eagles ha

Tonight kicks off the 2007 NFL season, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I've been a huge fan my entire life. In fact, one of my earliest memories is sitting on the couch next to my dad watching a game.In honor of tonight I'd like to make my Super Bowl picks. Anyone who has ever been around Redskins Nation knows two things: we have the best fans in all of sports, and we always pick the Redskins to win the Super Bowl. Generally speaking, they've sucked for about 15 years, so usually it's a joke when we pick them. However, last year they were coming off a solid playoff season, and I legitimately picked them. But, they let us all down, going back to their stinky ways with a 5-11 record. As a joke, like most seasons, I will pick the Redskins to win the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. But for "I told you so" purposes, I'll go with the Patriots over the New Orleans Saints.
