RedHat en colaboración con Intel planean el desarrollo de una plataforma de software que apoye PCs basadas en la tecnología del procesador Intel vPro. Esta nueva tecnología permitirá virtualización a través de hardware a la PC, independiente del sistema operativo. Los departamentos de tecnología podrán lanzar PCs en un sistema virtual con todos los beneficios de mejor administración y seguridad. Red Hat anuncia los resultados financieros de su cuarto trimestre fiscal, finalizado el 28 de Feberero de 2007, con un total de ingresos de $111.1 millones, un incremento del 41% comparado al año pasado, y un 5% más que el pasado trimestre. En el año completo, los ingresos fueron de $400.6 millones, un incremento de un 44% comparado al 2006.
