Twin Tigers have been hunting me down, and I think they finally caught me. I saw their name mentioned somewhere on Yellow Stereo a couple of weeks ago, which I didn't read. Amo la pintura y como es lógico la Pintura con Aguja o con Hilo, en inglés conocido como Needle Painting o Thread Painting; para mí es pintar de manera realista el objeto como lo hace la pintura, pero usando aguja e hilo de variados colores.
Cuando miro el bordado, éste parece brillar, pero es efecto del juego y degradé de hilos de colores ya que en éste trabajo he utilizado hilos mouliné comunes DMC de algodón. Todos usados en una sola hebra, tal como viene en el kit Red Fox Needlepainting Techniques. Solamente los pelos más finos, del bigote y frente del zorro, son de otro material.
Cuando me refiero a este arte de la aguja, viene a mi cabeza el nombre de una persona: Tanja Berlín, a la cual estoy muy agradecida como alumna y sobre ella ya les conté algunas cosas en mi primer post referido a este arte, el 19 de Junio de este año, cuando hacían sólo 10 días que había comenzado a escribir este blog.
