Yesterday was a bit of a crazy day. Not that it was overwhelming busy but because of the emotion of it on top of the busyness. Two of our children had Bible Quiz and Awana Games yesterday. Awana is such a great program; it teaches believers to reach higher and to reach out with the love of Christ. We had to get all of us out the door by 7 am and drive an hour to the location where they were held. We arrived home around 3 pm.I am again reaching out for the hand of the Great Physicians to bring healing to our home. We once again have illness within our household. I think we picked something up the last time we went to the doctor's office. I now have several children with fevers and coughs. I will have to assess the situation this morning before I decide if we are well enough to go

It's a good thing, though, that fate brought me to Kohana's, who has a post up about a talk she recently gave with a group of prospective adoptive parents.One of the things that frustrates me the most about blogging is my inability to connect with new adoptive parents. There are a gazillion prospective and new adoptive parent blogs out there, but they seem to swirl in a world of their own. I find them hard to read, and with older teens I'm in a completely different place anyway.Kohana and several commenters pointed out that waiting and new adoptive parents probably aren't emotionally able to hear some of the hard stuff that older parents have learned along the way. And that probably explains why a brand new parent, if they found my blog, would run for the hills. And that, of course, is not the desired reaction.I'm going to work on this. Bush.  The single-term, do-nothing president who was thrown out of office.  The one who said there was a lot of economic opportunity in the country because of a help wanted sign he saw at a fast food restaurant.  The one who threw up on Japanese leaders during a tragic trip there, dragging executives from America's auto companies, which were in as bad of shape as they are now.  The one who was amazed at supermarket scanner technology, which was then already a decade old.  The one who didn't push thru any meaningful domestic agenda, flip-flopped on taxes, never understood voter frustrations over the economy, didn't finish the job in Iraq, never addressed unfair trade practices around the world, and did nothing for HIV/AIDS.  That George H.W. Bush. After initially ignoring daddy and seeking advice from the bible-thumping neo-con crowd, W is running back to daddy for help. 

China’s a big buzzword everywhere with its endless market opportunities, but Israel is especially pushing on strong. Just think of Rs. 1800 crore confectionary market in India.Now think of any grocery and convenience outlet in your vicinity. Do you see one of Mint-O, candyman etc. You guys must be thinking how they reach the end outlet. I must tell you - ITS NOT EASY. I need to stop. I need to breath. I need to relax. I take to heart way too many things. I can't seem to just live and let live. I don't forgive very easily. This is something I recognize.Those that know me are always telling me that I'm pretty laid back. This couldn't be further from the truth. At the risk of sounding completely pathetic, I just keep having to say it over and over. But it makes me feel better.
