As promised, I mentioned in my previous post that I would add some more country music concert listings. There are tons of concerts coming up in the new year!
LeAnn Rimes Concert — LeAnn Rimes was only 13 when she won over music fans with her angelic voice. She’s since become one of the best-selling artists of all time and one of this generation’s must-see performers.
Patti Labelle Concert — Patti LaBelle is known for a voice that practically defines the R&B genre. Long recognized for her gospel-flavored soul, she is now out on the road performing the hits that made her a legend.
Rascal Flatts Concert — Rascal Flatts has proven to be a touring machine, as Gary, Jay and Joe continue to skyrocket toward country music immortality. Don’t miss out on seeing these down-home Texans burn up the stage.
Steve Earle Concert — Buy great Steve Earle Tickets and experience the thrill of a live concert. Sold out? So what! Get your Steve Earle Tickets a
This fourth effort from the soft-rock-masquerading-as-country band Rascal Flatts moved more than 721,000 copies its first week out, which let the female-friendly trio rub elbows with some mighty heady company. Only four other country artists (Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, and Tim McGraw) have rolled out numbers like that, and only 24 other acts total (including Eminem, 50 Cent, U2, and Coldplay). So what's the hook, besides Gary LeVox's wounded tenor and Joe Don Rooney's boy-band face? Clearly, it's the songs. Or it usually is. On Me and My Gang, "What Hurts the Most" is the one that'll end up on a tape loop in your head, though "Yes, I Do" memorably frames romantic yearning and regret with ersatz reggae rhythms, and the sexy "Cool Thing" does a slow burn. For detail please
There’s a place in your heart, nobody’s been,Take me there.Things nobody knows,Not even your friends,Take me there.Tell me bout your momma, your daddy, your hometown,Show me around,I want see it all, don’t leave anything outI want to know, everything about you.And I want to go, down every road you’ve been.Where your hopes and dreams, and wishes live,Where you keep the rest of your life hid,I want to know the girl behind that pretty stare,Take me there.Your first real kiss, your first true love, DRYou were scared.Show me where,You learned about life, spent your summer nights, without a care.I want to roll down main street, the back roads,Like you did when you were a kidWhat made you who you are,Tell me what your story is.I want to know, everything about you.And I want to go, down every road you’ve been.Where your hopes and dreams, and wishes live,Where you keep the rest of your life hid,I want to know the girl behind that pretty stareTake me there.I want to kno
Speaking of me being the music guy, I found an offer this morning that I couldn’t pass up.
For those of y’all in the south like me, wearing your boot cut jeans, cowboy hats, and wrangler button up shirts, you like to rock it hill-billy style. You know, some Creedence, Montgomery Gentry, Skynyrd?
Well, for the ladies out there who are all gaga over McGraw, Paisley, and Urban, I ran across a freebee that’s right up your alleys. See, right now, if you sign up to be a new member for the Rascal Flatts All Access Fan Club, you get a free copy of their new album, Still Feels Good. And to top it off, signing up for now is a free membership that works from now till December 31, 2007. So three full months of behind-the-scenes access, bonuses, and early ticket pool access. Cool. Two freebees in one.
So sign up, confirm with the link they e-mail you, log in, and you’ll find the form to get the free CD. Simple, easy, and free. Always good.

Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine @ allmusic.com
Ever since their eponymous 2000 debut there has been more pop than country in Rascal Flatts' contemporary country-pop, but with each subsequent record the trio has been drifting slowly, steadily toward outright adult pop, which is where they arrive on their fourth album, 2006's Me and My Gang. Discounting the steel guitar that's used
