Alexa has been a very useful indicator to see how much traffic flows to a website/blog and the level of popularity of it. However, the major flaw in the system is that it only counts the visits from those who have installed Alexa Toolbar. Which to be honest, even I don't bother installing. Which also means that my own hits to my blog will never be counted. To somewhat solve this problem as per claimed, Alexa has made a great improvement to change its algorithms, and have taken multiple sources into consideration.
