We've been discussing resurrecting the radio program. It was last broadcast on KFAY-AM in Fayetteville toward the end of 2006. It ran for about three years. First, we finally have copies of many of the older episodes, and plan to put them up here as podcasts. We've also talked with Don Elkins about doing a one-hour version of the program to go up here each week as a podcast, and possibly broadcast over a streaming site like Live365.com, where it used to simulcast. Mr. Elkins has been doing other things over the last year, and we still haven't firmed up his desire to return to do the program, but things look good right now. We don't have any radio stations lined up, and we're not optimistic because it was tough enough getting people to tolerate the show on the stale airwaves of local AM radio. If you aren't aware, Nas recently told an audience that his last album, 'Hip-Hop is Dead', was originally titled 'Nigga' until Def Jam record executives forced a change. Country music singer Marty Stuart will host a new radio show owned by XM, a satellite radio service. The show will start airing on Friday, October 5, and is called “Marty Stuart’s American Odyssey.” He will introduce listeners to a broad range of music — like traditional country, blues, rockabilly, bluegrass, gospel and rock songs. Each show will be an hour long and will focus on a different part of the country. He’ll talk about music and interview local musicians, tell stories, and bring on guests.   Below is a video filmed from the studio camera at a radio station Mitt was being interviewed on. It starts off friendly enough, but begins to become a little heated just before the commercial break when the host starts to question his Mormon beliefs and abortion. The camera continues to roll during the break, seemingly without Mitt’s knowledge as the confrontation becomes even more heated.   The best part of the video is how they quickly come back on the air for a thirty second spot to say goodbye as if nothing happened, only to return to the argument as soon as they are off the air.   I say good for Mitt, stand up for yourself.   This video is pretty long at around twenty minutes, but it is riviting.

 Yesterday I appeared on the Political Vindication radio show. I have to say that I was pretty nervous about doing the show. I had never spoken in front of an audience before, never-mind going on an internet radio show and voicing my opinions.   I think the show went pretty well, I got over my early nervousness. Frank and Shane did an excellent job at making me feel at home.   I have to say that I find their show very entertaining and plan on listening every week. The show runs every Wednesday from 9:00EST to 10:00 EST. The Political Vindication blog is one of the  blogs that I make a point of reading evey day and recommend it to everyone.   My one regret on the show was when asked about John McCain I totally forgot to mention the immigration and campaign finance reform bills that he supported. Below are some interesting charts that are either in my clients' portfolio's, or that I went over in the radio show. There is some overlap.PXLW - This one is in some of my clients portfolio's, and I like the chart on it. The stock closed above both the 50 DMA ($1.41) and 20 DMA ($1.44) on Friday. The RSI bounced off of 50 recently, and is rising. The MACD is positive, and also is rising. The stock needs to get through big resistance at $1.54 to really move.See Current chart below:ANAD - This is another one in a clients' account. I like the chart on this one too. The stock is trading over all three major moving averages, and has a very nice positive trend. As you can see it as been trading about 20 cents or so above it's 20 day EMA at it's low points for the last month. The RSI is above 50, and the MACD is positive. Today's sell of ARIA, is the first time I have traded it for a loss. I think I was something like 8 for 8 on it. I tried to sell this morning at $5.60, but my order did not fill. That would have been a $1,000 gain. I have not sold AIS yet, so for the time being my streak is still in tact with that one. I have not had a losing trade with it so far. Currently, my average PPS is about $1.76, and I have lost over nine grand on it though. Hopefully, after probably another weak day on Monday, the stock will move up. There is support at $1.50, and the RSI is almost at oversold. With me being down so much on this one, and my belief in it fundamentally, I plan on holding this one

Now that it has already dropped to the 50 DMA ($1.75), which was my worry in the first place, I am reluctant to sell. It has bounced off of that mark nicely. Len Davis interviewed guitarist Brett Garsed recently for the Bitches Brew radio show. Garsed discusses the new Uncle Moe's Space Ranch album Moe's Town. The show will air on June 26th on the Australian radio station PBSFM 106.7. You can listen live through the PBSFM website, but Davis has his other audio interviews posted on his website, so I suspect you'll be able to hear it there eventually.

Well, the radio show was pact full of stocks to go over, so I did not get to all of them. Thanks to Chuck and Jim for calling in!Below are the stocks that Ritcie and Shashi gave me to go over, that I was unable to review:ARIA - This is one of my favorite stocks. The chart looks good on this one. The RSI is above 50, and the MACD just made the bullish crossover. I would look for it to go higher. If it pulls back, I would look for first support at $5.60, then $5.37 (20 day EMA). If that last one is broken, I would probably sell or stay away. As far as upside resistance $5.79 would be first, that's the 52-week high, then $6.00.CCC - This one is a tough call. It had a nice move up yesterday, and the RSI has cleared 70. The MACD is also positive, as it made the bullish crossover on Thursday. That being said, it may be over extended already, and could pullback to around $11 before going higher again. If it does go up, I only see one or two more days left of the run. I am sorry t

I think based on how bad the market has done over the last three days (DOW down 410 points in that span), I will spend some time during the next show on strategies I use to deal with a declining market. We may not end up having one for an extended period, but since someone already asked the question, I think it's worth going over.For the most part, my portfolio for this week has pretty much reflected what I would do in that event. The first two days this week were very profitable for me, and the two stocks that made that possible were bio-tech stocks (ARIA & NRMX). I do not have any now, but I should. If I had noticed ARIA dipping back below $5.20 yesterday, I would have bought in again. You can see that it had a good day today despite the market downturn. What I do have currently is a lot of cash, a penny stock, and two alternate energy stocks. My feeling is that that sector usually does okay in a market downturn along with bio-techs.   According to various news outlets, MSNBC has announced that they are pulling the plug on that crappy Don Imus radio show! It’s a devastating move that could signal the beginning of the end of the radio career of one of the most influential broadcasters in American history. I don’t know if this means anything to you all, but I personally didn’t know the dude before last week! Real talk! But that’s what his racist ass gets! This is a major step towards prosperity for us black folk =D We got da white man fired! Hallelujar!

I’ve looked forward to doing this show for awhile now. I think I emailed Josh Simpson’s studio back in October right after I had started Artist Hideout. It’s been a little while getting things in place to do interviews like this, and I am thrilled to be able to talk with Josh Simpson today.
