Racehorse Named 'Fuck You' Forced to Change Names
Racing Information Services Australia has ordered the owners of racehorse Aydee Fic to rename him. Aydee Fic is Arabic, roughly translated it means "f*** you"."I was only having a bit of fun. That was the third name I submitted on the list of possible names. It's a sanitised world now. The minority rules," said "culprit" Rodney Lane. The horse will now be known as Journey On.Over time a number of

Hillary compares herself to a racehorse -- hopefully doesn't commit to following suit
"INDIANAPOLIS -- Hillary Clinton’s pick to win the Kentucky Derby this year came in second, but was later euthanized on the track. The tragic moment at Churchill Downs cast an eerie spell over the campaign and the candidate who recently compared herself and her candidacy to the only female horse running in the race, Eight Belles. ..." (CBSNews.com)So, if Hillary gets her way, we can expect that the one who grabs second place in the race for the Democratic nomination is due to be 'put down' on the track? Why is it that the Liberals are always coming up with new ways to live by absolutes -- wasn't that supposed to be the vice of Conservatives?[Insert follow-up joke, about dog food or glue, here.]

      From the racehorse's mouth
If you were to put a gun to my head and ask me who I'd most want to see start a blog I'd be forced to say an English Premier League football player. Now before I get started with what makes a football player an interesting candidate it bears mentioning that there are blogs (such as the NFL player Frank Gore's) and then there are blogs. Many celebrities have toyed with releasing their latest happenings and spewing packageable word-vomit (thanks Sarah) to satisfy the insatiable cravings that marketers have created for “more” of their brand. More noise, more sequels... more repackaging of the same drivel that we're given time and time again. The main appeal of a blog for me is that it takes content to another level - it speaks in a voice that's unique to its author that lets you feel that even if you don't come away with more knowledge or information, you will leave with a better understanding. At the end of the day a blog should be a relationship-building tool. Un
