At first I thought this was the same idea as many others going around lately... trying to show how a perfect world should be... a sort of a "what if" style, but it's not exactly that. Ideazon's Reaper Edge gaming mouse gets reviewedIt's been over a year since Ideazon threw its Reaper into the totally saturated gaming mouse market, but now that the Reaper Edge has arrived to challenge the revived SideWinder, Razer Lachesis and Saitek Cyborg (to name just a few), it seems suitable to see how it stacks up. The folks over at ExtremeTech were able to wrap their hands around said device, and the long and short of it is that it's a real competitor. Gamers looking for a new mouse should probably put Ideazon on their short list, as what it lacks in brand appeal it more than makes up for in the design and performance departments. Reviewers praised the 'real rubber thumb grip,' intelligently placed side buttons and relatively low price tag ($69.99 MSRP), but did note that the bundled software wasn't as robust as they would've liked. Still, the Reaper Edge seemed to have quite a bit going for it, but feel free to dive into the full review below if you're still skeptical
There’s something definitely more about Sam’s relationship with the Devil. A couple of episodes ago, I think, the Devil didn’t want to talk to Sam’s dad. Like it’s more than a selling his soul thing. They reacted all too personally. Also, it would be much easier if the Devil just tell Sam on how to use the vessel or who the escaped soul is or are. He just leave clues instead. Kind of like he is training Sam.
So, my theory is, Sam is the Devil’s son and that girl Cady is his sister if she turns out to be the Devil’s daughter ( but eew they kissed in episode 10 : Cash Out ). His deal with Sam’s dad is that, they take care of Sam in exchange for something. The Devil has a thing for relationships with earthly women. Maybe he had one with Sam’s mom.

The latest escaped soul is a former bank robber who has come back to collect the cash he hid after his last heist. Sam, Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) capture the soul then find the stolen money, leading to an argument about what to do with it.

On the CW's show, "Reaper," there is a lot of sin going on. Lying, cheating, violence, goofing off at work. The Devil seems to encourage things like gossip and lust. Even the hero's would-be girlfriend is well-versed in defrauding her place of employment, not through stealing money, but through wasting time and pretending to get things done. So doesn't this show teach us that it's good to be bad?I don't think so. More and more, our hero seems to be discovering that solid morals are better in the end. He's even refuted the Devil's support of various sins on more than one occasion.Part of what makes the show interesting in this regard is that Sam keeps getting pressured to do bad things. Sin is said to be highly attractive. His father bought him a new car, and asked him to lie to his mother. In the end, the car was totaled, and he told his mother the truth. Live and learn? I think so. I guess this means that the show will entertain with the Devil gags, but also teach h
British Royal Navy officer narrowly averted a bad decision that could have ended up in friendly fatality. The Predator or Reaper UAV received clearance to engage in a section of troop which he believed were hostile forces, the officer then took it up on his self to cancel the engagement as the section were dressed in local attire and didn’t have the same walk, infact they were special forces. This slight mistake could have been a fatal one which may have had serious consequences.
In my opinion is it not about time all the military forces started using safety measures, I mean I understand the pressure of a conflict and been contacted by an enemy force can be fast and aggressive but and sometimes a rapid decision needs to be made but certain measures should be undertaken to prevent friendly fire incidents.

Again, I apologize for not following up on Five Days, but as I explained I decided not to watch it until all the episodes aired. Still I wanted to mention that it was airing tonight.

Reaper! Yay! I do have one negative thing to say about it though: They have to stop the ridiculous storylines of Sam and Andi. We get it, Sam’s job always gets in the way of them getting together, move on. Come up with new material for those two, it feels like every week it’s the same story over and over again.
HOUSE “Mirror, Mirror” - 9pm FOX
And the wonderful season of House continues. Foreman returns tonight and will be overseeing House’s candidates. Finally, the team is back together, well sort of. Still, exciting!

So, I’ve been watching Reaper and enjoying it. The pilot was easily the best one, the rest have stabilized at “pretty entertaining.” While watching it, it occurred to me that it had some obvious similaries to early Buffy - from cast structure to generalized stories - enough that it made me want to watch my Buffy Season 1 dvd’s again. So I did.
Eye opening. Buffy was immediately great. Every episode was good in a way that is not true on any of the shows this season - all of which were sort of “Yeah, it’s ok, show’s some promise so I’ll keep trying it out.” And the comparison with Reaper is sort of a non-comparison. Superficially they’re similar. Main slaying character, two sidekicks, one wacky, one smart. One older teacherly figure. One love interest, outside the circle. You know, some bad guy comes every week to kill, research must go into why he’s killing and how to kill him.

Last season on "Heroes," Missy Peregrym played the shape shifter. After kidnapping Micah, she revealed through her eating habits that her character was somewhat overweight. This season, she was replaced and then killed by Sylar, all in one episode. When she died, she reverted to her true form, which had always been hinted at as being less thin than she usually seemed. The new CW show, "Reaper" has a few interesting places where it agrees and disagrees with the "my soul is in the Devil's pocket" storyline. I've enjoyed both, so an exploration will be fun.In "Ghost Rider," the guy sells his soul to save his ailing father, who is soon killed anyway.In "Reaper," the guy's parents had already sold his soul before he was even born.In "Ghost Rider," the guy has powers that are effectively static and cumulative, meaning that they don't change or go away, and he can learn how to use them better and better every time he does the Devil's work.In "Reaper," the guy's powers vary week to week, depending on what villain he's fighting. Every episode there's a new ability that he (so far) seems to have very little control over. Day 28 already! I’m only on Day 1. It’s an interesting show but I need to really concentrate when I watch it because it’s a pretty serious. That’s why I tend to hold off until the week-end to watch it. It’s a nice break from the other types of TV shows I watch though.
CARPOOLERS “Who Would You Do?” - 8:30pm ABC
I am liking Carpoolers so far. It’s pretty fun and I really enjoy all the car scenes with them singing together and stuff. Carpoolers is here to stay on my TV schedule for now.
REAPER “Magic” - 9pm CW
Reaper is the TV show I am most excited to watch on Tuesdays. I just love the Sam, Sock, and Ben trio, no one can stop demons like

Battlestar Galactica Fans, this might interest you. It seems that our dear Chief Tyrol (Aaron Douglas) will be making an appearance in the new CW show REAPER as a Delivery Demon. If you don’t believe me, check out the picture above. I dig the horns don’t you?
When will this great encounter take place? Aaron Douglas will appear in the fifth episode of Reaper entitled “What About Blob.” If that’s not a good reason to tune in, then I don’t know what is.

REAPER has a season pass here at Daemon’s TV. It’s no secret, I’ve been talking about it for a while.
Even though I had seen the pilot at Comic Con, I still tuned in to the series premiere, just because I felt like watching it again.
Here is some of my thoughts and favorite moments:
First, I would like to say that I liked Missy Peregym a lot better this time. I think it probably has to do with me watching “Stick It” and liking her in it. (By the way, the movie was ok, not anything to rave about.)
While we’re on the subject of Missy Peregrym, the funny thing I noticed in all the scenes they reshot with her (the original actress was Nikki Reed who was replaced by Missy Peregrym) was that Bret Harrison (Sam) suddenly has a little beard and then in the old stuff, he is clean-shaved. Now, I can’t help but ask myself who didn’t notice that when the scenes were reshot. I thought it was funny.
My favorite character has to be Bert “Sock

REAPER “Pilot” - 9pm CW
Let me give you one reason to watch the pilot of Reaper: Kevin Smith, who directed the episode. Furthermore, Reaper is really funny, and I am not an easy person to please. Bret Harrison is hilarious as the guy whose soul has been sold to the devil by his parents. Ray Wise plays the devil, pretty cool, huh? Reaper is a must watch. REAPER is one of my favorite new TV shows this fall. When I first heard about it, I wasn’t convinced, but after seeing the pilot at Comic Con this year, Reaper became one of my favorites. I call the show (after someone made that comment at Comic Con), “the show that will make people watch the CW.” It is different from what you expect to find on the CW, and I think has great potential.

I’ve been thinking about death a lot lately. I know it has something to do with my FIL being sick, but I’m also at peace with my destiny of dying someday. My mother has let it known that she will die and she is always telling us this and that and all the other things she wants us to know before she dies. She’s always been open and honest about how she feels about us, what we should do if she dies…things like that. I’m not afraid of dying.
I am however, afraid of other friends, family, love ones of dying. It frightens me so very much. My heart aches when I think of the ripples of grief a family goes through when a beloved family member dies. Having my FIL go through this struggle with cancer has gotten Randy and I thinking about it all. Well the fall is almost here, and the best part of it besides Halloween is new shows. Starting September 25th "Reaper" will are on the CW. This show stars "Bret Harrison" Which is a great young actor for TV shows that will have him. Lately if you've been watching fox they have been playing 3-4 episodes every Sunday on fox of season two of "The Loop", staring Bret. I assume this pilot was made when fox was unsure of the future of "The Loop" So he was free of any contract like most actors on fox no pun intended. ANYWAYS this show is funny, and serious.
