I guess it wasn’t meant to be for the Toronto Raptors as on Monday, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard had probably his best game of this best-of-seven series as he scored 21 points and 21 rebounds. His effort led Orlando to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, beating Toronto 102-92 at Amway [...]
Although it appears that Mark Jackson is the favorite to win the New Knicks coaching job, another name seems to be on the ever-growing list of candidates; according to Marc Berman of the New York Post, Toronto Raptors coach Sam Mitchell appears to have piqued the interest of the team. Some of the interest lies [...]
You just had to know that the tandem of Toronto Raptors guard T.J. Ford and Jose Calderon would eventually mesh into a cohesive unit; in Thursday’s game against the Orlando Magic, the pair proved to be formidable as they combined for 39 points, leading Toronto to a relatively easy 108-94 win over Orlando at [...]

The Toronto Sun is reporting that Toronto Rators General Manager Bryan Colangelo is very concerened with the way the team has seemingly fallen apart over the last month to six weeks. The Raptors currently are in the midst of 2 game losing streak, and have gone2-8 in their last ten games. Colangelo cut short a [...]

Toronto Raptors @ Utah Jazz - NBA 2008
The Denver Nuggets appear to peaking at the right time - even if Allen Iverson is playing with a fractured finger. Despite that discomfort, Iverson is playing some of his basketball this season as he scored 28 points, as the Nuggets ambushed the Toronto Raptors 137-105 Friday night at Pepsi Center.
Denver shot lights-out, to [...]
Toronto Raptors @ Golden State Warriors - NBA / Tipster: espim
Gosto muito de apostar em overs em jogos de Golden State, e apenas me defraudaram uma vez. Fiz ontem pick no over no raptors-lakers, e hoje frente a golden state, creio que a história vai ser a mesma, e provavelmente com ainda mais pontos, pois [...]
Lakers 117 - Raptors 108
The Lakers have won 18 of their last 22 games. The Raptors don’t have Chris Bosh. It’s not hard to guess who would come away with this win.
Kobe Bryant played his normal role of fourth quarter assassin by scoring 10 points in the last 8 1/2 minutes to lead the Lakers [...]

By: Al Terry Toronto Raptors tickets are not tickets to any basketball game- if there was ever a team that had all the odds stacked against them and more struggles than victories, it has to be the Raptors. And yet, despite these odds, the Raptors have gone on to quietly establish themselves as a formidable team to deal with on the court. The Toronto Raptors are based in Ontario, Canada and play their home games from the Air Canada Center. The team is part of the National Basketball Association and is also affiliated to the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference. They have only garnered one division title so far in their career. Thomas TipsThe Raptors were born in 1993, playing their first game in 1995. The team name, colors and logo was decided via a contest that was held right across the nation. The name Raptors was ultimately chosen in light of the Jurassic Park fever that had gripped the country. One of the main reasons why Toronto Raptors tickets sold so well was, because none
Plantersville, TX---The Texas Renaissance Festival is not just about period clothing, turkey legs and jousting. It offers a chance to have a up, close and personal look at some of the world’s most beautiful and mysterious birds of prey.
Florida-based Wild Sky Productions headed by Robby and Shannon Sinkler is putting on a birds of prey show that I had the pleasure to see last Saturday at the festival’s falconry stage.
Coming from someone who has seen wildlife shows all around the world, I can honestly say this one is top notch.
“We want to give people a fun, educational experience about birds of prey showing them species they might see in their backyards as well as more exotic species from around the world,” Shannon Sinkler said.
The show started off with a look at North America
Raptors are making a come back in some urban environments. Such large birds of prey generally require large open spaces for their hunting, and are among the first birds affected by urban sprawl. Some seem to be adapting, however.
“It’s a very positive development for conservation and mankind,” said Daniel E. Varland, co-editor of the book Raptors in Human Landscapes. Varland lists peregrine falcons, red-tailed hawks, osprey and Cooper’s hawks as among those birds of prey that are surviving in cities. In some parts of the country, he said, small falcons called merlins have moved into urban areas. projo.com
I love these magnificent birds. In fact, I often pause in my night time blogging to step out on the porch and listen to the Great Horned owls. Watching the red-tailed hawks hunt in the field is always interesting And one of the most exhilarating moments of our birding hobby was when one swooped down low over our backyard, close enough to see those eyes as they surveyed e
Wherever there’s a Nets game, Jay-Z will be there, and this one is no exception (of course). Here are a few candids of Jay-Z, Deon Sanders, Mario Vazquez, and their guests. Mario Vazquez’s gay ass performed too… Don’t know what the hell I’m talking about? Well damn, your D-List radar must be on the fritz! Check This out…

Photo by: Adrian WyldRAPTORS TIE SERIES WITH NETS!The Raptors tied their series with the Nets winning 89-83. Throwing the ball Bosh and working around him opened up the game for shooters like Anthony Parker. Jason Kidd had a great all around game and he is having a fantastic series.Anthony Parker finished with the most points for the Raptors with 26. His shooting is a big part of the Raptors winning or losing this series. Chris Bosh did it all with 25 points and 13 boards. Solid numbers for Bosh are what makes the entire team confident and consistent in games. The series heads for New Jersey for game 3. Toronto has to come out with a good start and stop any fast break opportunities for the Nets. The Nets should try to get both game at home because the Raptors will stay close at home.
Vince Carter was once beloved and admired but returning back to play against the Toronto Raptors with boos in his ears struggled in the game yet he wasn’t the the only man to defend.
Richard Jefferson scored 28 points, Jason Kidd had 15 assists and 10 rebounds (more…)
Photo by: Adrian WyldNETS BEAT RAPTORS IN GAME 1!The New Jersey Nets beat the Raptors in game 1 of their first round series 96-91. The Nets have to get Carter going early to be more successful early. Richard Jefferson had a fantastic game and I see he is ready to play big time in the new season. The Raptors had up and downs but played decently. Bosh didn't get in rhythm which was bad, and the jump shots didn't fall in the early going. I think they learned valuable lessons from this game, and will win game 2 on Tuesday on NBA TV.WATCH MORE OF TODAY'S COVERAGE AND COME BACK HERE FOR RECAPS!

Photo by: Aaron HarrisRAPTORS BEAT CELTS IN FIRST OT OF PRESEASON AND PACERS BEAT NETS!The Pacers beat the Nets 103-89. The Toronto Raptors beat the Celtics 118-112 in overtime. Here is my recap for the Pacers game. The Pacers had a good scoring attack without Jermaine O'Neal who had a DNP. I think the Nets will be better in the season but will not try as hard in the preseason. Al Harrington got 21 points and 9 boards in 23 minutes. Great comeback to the Pacers for Harrington. I know he will be good to have when other Pacers are hurt. Antoine Wright got 23 points and 4 boards in 35 minutes. Good game for Wright. Now for the recap on the overtime Raptors game. Chris Bosh led the Raptors with 22 points and 4 boards in 23 minutes. Bosh was on fire. I hope his offense will keep improving so he can beat bad on both end of the floor. Rajon Rondo got 29 points and 5 assists in 38 minutes. Rondo played well but it's preseason. He is good but I don't expect him to put up these type of numbe
RAPTORS BEAT THE PACERS 92-83!The Toronto Raptors have recently been playing poorly, but pulled off a much needed win over the Pacers 92-83. It was really a game of runs for both teams, and the Raptors got off to a great start in the first two quarters. Quickly out of the second half the Pacers went on a huge run to cut what was as big as a 27 points lead to four. The attack that kept the Raptors up was the bench which was led by Jose Calderon, Joey Graham and Bargnani who really surprised me. Andrea Bargnani had 14 points and shot two of five from the three points line in 22 minutes off the bench. He was hot in the second quarter. He hit two threes and showed he can put the ball on the floor and make some really nice moves. Check out www.nba.com and see Bargnani make the highlight reel in the NBA TV broadband. Jose Calderon got 13 points and 5 assists in 25 minutes. He is a growing player who looks like he can really develop into some player. Chris Bosh got 17 points and 11 boards in
