A 25-year-old man, Abdullahi Maidawa, of Mamawa village in Bagudo Local Government area of Kebbi, has allegedly committed suicide over his inability to memorise the Holy Quran.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Maidawa bathed himself with petrol in his room and set himself on fire.
He was alleged to have claimed that the action was in protest against his failure to master the Quran after about eight years of intensive studies.

It dares you to disprove it. How? It says that humans can not writea book like this even if they pooled all their resources together andgot help also from the spirits. The Quran said this fourteenhundreds years ago and yet no one has been able to disprove it. Billions ofbooks have been written - but not another one like the Quran.
(2) Incorruptible:
It is the only religious sacred writing which has been incirculation for such a long time and yet remains as pure as it was in thebeginning. The Quran was kept intact. Nothing was added to it;nothing was changed in it; and nothing was taken away from it eversince it was completely revealed 1400 years ago.
(3) Unsurpassable:
The Quran is God's final revelation to humankind. God revealed theTorah to Moses, the Psalms to David, the Gospel to Jesus, andfinally the Quran to Muhammad. Peace be upon all of them. No other book willcome from God to surpass his final revelation.
(4) Indisputable:
The Quran with
CircumcisionCircumcision, known as either bersunat or berkhatan, is one of the most important ceremonies in Malay society, apart from those related to marriage and death. The circumcision, performed by the designated expert known as the tok mudin, usually takes place when a boy is between six and 10 years old. The parents would fix the date for the circumcision, sending out invitations to relatives, friends and neighbours, for the two-day ceremony. On the first day, the boy's hair is cropped in a ceremony called berandam, before he is taken in a procession around the village, which ends when he is placed upon a dais (pelamin). He is usually required to dress appropriately in baju Melayu with a sampin or short sarong. On the second day, the actual circumcision takes place, usually early in the morning.
